InfinitySMP is a small whitelisted vanilla server for talented minecrafters who are 14+, and most if not all of which record Minecraft. We are looking for talented builders and redstoners who are enjoyable to play with. The server will have many community projects such as: One or more battle arenas, courthouse, spawn village, nether hub, enderfarm, blazefarm, minigame area, large community farms and more!

1. No Griefing 2. No Stealing 3. Pranks are welcomed but no use of tnt, lava, fire, or flooding. 4. No PvP unless it is agreed upon between those who are participating in it. 5. No excessive profanity, profanity can be okay but generally keep it minimal. 6. Do not be rude or harsh to other server members.

Hmm.. that's a tough question. I'd probably have to go with building. After 1.2, it has become very easy to make things look good with stairs and slabs.

I'm hoping this server runs snapshots so I can ride horses into the sunset. I hope nobody is considered holy because they are "OP", also, I don't want anyone using creative to hack in 1,000 diamond blocks.

Hey, my IGN is le_quis, I'm a little over sixteen and I don't have a youtube channel. Even though this is the case, I'm perfectly fine with being in others' videos and whatnot. Mainly, I'm looking for a server with fun people that I can enjoy hanging out with in Minecraft. I'm especially looking for people who know how to write in full sentences because, well, I find that to be important. The most enjoyable facet that I find in Minecraft is the near infinite amount of things you can create in it. Especially build-wise. I love builds, especially community builds as I feel they're a great way to get to know the other players on the server.
I really consider my building ability to be the best thing I bring to the table when it comes to Minecraft. Although, I've been commended for being very helpful and I'm always more than willing to help anybody out with whatever they need. I'd really like to see the server remain consistent with updates and not so much with snapshots. I'd also like to see it remain fairly vanilla although the implementation of plugins wouldn't be a big deal since most aren't game breaking when it comes to utilization.
So, I've been playing Minecraft since Infdev 1.0.15, in other words, a really long time. Around Beta 1.5 is when I joined my first server which I stayed with until 1.8, I had a sort of falling out then and left. Over the course of time since then, I've moderated countless servers and even co-owned a few servers. I've excellent when it comes to working with players and I'm also very affluent when it comes to learning new things and teaching them to others. I'm rather creative and I also right fairly well. I hope you take me into consideration.

I love the exploration aspect of Minecraft because you don't know what will show up or what will happen next when you wait for the chunks to load.

You know that feeling you get when you just buy a new game and you're playing it for the first time? that has always lasted in minecraft due to the fact it is always new and fresh and being updated with more amazing features.

Why I want to Join: I've been playing FTB for a while, but I miss vanilla, with just basic components to make big contraptions, rather than single blocks to do them for you. It's also nice that I can actually play on fancy graphics without huge framerate drops, and doesn't take a minute to close the game. I'm not sure if I'll be evenly juggling the two games or what, but I have a feeling that I'll be mostly playing vanilla for now. I'm going with this particular server because it's the first server in the server list that was simply vanilla (no economy or protection, that kinda thing). I also like your mentioning of those various community projects.
What I enjoy most: I often focus on technical contraptions. I've designed various mob traps, and I've done a few redstone things that I'm fairly proud of (some of those are on my channel). However, I'm capable of making cool aesthetical structures if I just get off my lazy ass and redesign or move over from the little hut I usually end up with at the start.
What I'm best at: Redstone and things that involve game mechanics, especially mob farms. I've spents hours upon hours in testing out various mob farm stuff using MCEdit, and I love watching videos related to them. I have a decent idea on how the actual mob spawning algorithm works (though I don't know specific numbers and stuff). I'm also quite good at cave diving, and survival in general. Mostly due to me lighting up cave systems for mob traps (I can often tell with sight alone when a spot in a cave isn't properly lit).
How I want the server to work: Just friendly, active members, what people usually want in a whitelist server. I'd like to do occasional events involving most or all of the server though. I don't think I've ever actually done that on previous servers, due to lack of organization (hell, once we never actually fought the ender dragon because of that, and I ended up leaving).
About myself: Minecraft aside, I'm a big fan of anime, as well as the Touhou Project shooter series. I've devoted countless hours trying to beat them, and I actually have beaten a few on normal difficulty. I'm in love with Touhou Project music too. The only other game that I really play on a regular basis, aside from Minecraft and Touhou, is osu, a rhythm game where you click circles and stuff. I play that online with my friend a lot, and I'm getting quite good at it too. I'm trying to get into computer sciences at university, and I think I'm well on my way to doing that. When I played FTB, I spent a lot of time writing Computercraft programs, despite not having any previous knowledge of Lua alone.

I may upload more Minecraft vidoes once I join the server. Recently it's been all osu videos.
Why I want to Join: I've been playing FTB for a while, but I miss vanilla, with just basic components to make big contraptions, rather than single blocks to do them for you. It's also nice that I can actually play on fancy graphics without huge framerate drops, and doesn't take a minute to close the game. I'm not sure if I'll be evenly juggling the two games or what, but I have a feeling that I'll be mostly playing vanilla for now. I'm going with this particular server because it's the first server in the server list that was simply vanilla (no economy or protection, that kinda thing). I also like your mentioning of those various community projects.
What I enjoy most: I often focus on technical contraptions. I've designed various mob traps, and I've done a few redstone things that I'm fairly proud of (some of those are on my channel). However, I'm capable of making cool aesthetical structures if I just get off my lazy ass and redesign or move over from the little hut I usually end up with at the start.
What I'm best at: Redstone and things that involve game mechanics, especially mob farms. I've spents hours upon hours in testing out various mob farm stuff using MCEdit, and I love watching videos related to them. I have a decent idea on how the actual mob spawning algorithm works (though I don't know specific numbers and stuff). I'm also quite good at cave diving, and survival in general. Mostly due to me lighting up cave systems for mob traps (I can often tell with sight alone when a spot in a cave isn't properly lit).
How I want the server to work: Just friendly, active members, what people usually want in a whitelist server. I'd like to do occasional events involving most or all of the server though. I don't think I've ever actually done that on previous servers, due to lack of organization (hell, once we never actually fought the ender dragon because of that, and I ended up leaving).
About myself: Minecraft aside, I'm a big fan of anime, as well as the Touhou Project shooter series. I've devoted countless hours trying to beat them, and I actually have beaten a few on normal difficulty. I'm in love with Touhou Project music too. The only other game that I really play on a regular basis, aside from Minecraft and Touhou, is osu, a rhythm game where you click circles and stuff. I play that online with my friend a lot, and I'm getting quite good at it too. I'm trying to get into computer sciences at university, and I think I'm well on my way to doing that. When I played FTB, I spent a lot of time writing Computercraft programs, despite not having any previous knowledge of Lua alone.

why do you want too join the server: I want to join the server because ive always wanted to play against and with nice and friendly people and im tired of playing solo all alone.
what do you like most in minecraft: I enjoy pvp and hunting in monecraft the most because its fun having a competitive challenge on surviving and you never know what youll encounter while hunting.
what do you consider yourself best at minecraft: Its a tough question but i consider im best at both pvp and mining so me and my team can get gold,diamond,coal, and iron as fast as possible and just incase we get in some "trouble".
how do you want the server to work: I want the server to work without anybody thinking they are better just because they are OP and i definatly dont want anyone to use hacks or use creative to give them selves something.
