Its safe to say that Intox will not be coming back. It was a fun time seeing old friends and meeting new people, but nothing can last forever.

I've PM'd ShawnHalogen. I wouldn't mind purchasing the old domain for a reasonable fee as well as reinvigorating this server. We've got the technical ability and resources to make this a reality.
I'm not really a big fan of ripping off other people's hard work, however, so I'd need to make sure this was done with approval. Finally, I would love to have AG staff come to continue this whether their expertise lie in sysadmin, development, or player moderation.

My argument with the forum admin about talking about other servers, in order to keep us all together after the shut down. I love the amount of oppression they are dealing, to think even Minecraft is taking on totalitarian tactics amazes me. Do we not have the freedom of speech anymore?
You don't really rip off the hard work since all plugins were deleted, I guess.
There's a bit that goes into it, but believe me there's a lot of work that goes into customizing these WoK builds as well as the other custom structures within the spawn. In addition, its a concept that you're borrowing from.
Personally, I'd rather have the sanction of those who put in all the manhours. From what I can see of all of the knock-offs so far, none of them have the professionalism of EG. AG did a great job as far as I can tell (though I never played their iteration of this server).
well you know it was great intox....even thought this was the only version I really played when shawn was the owner, R.I.P long live the name of intox~
I don't mind so much that it shut down, I just think it's sad that the owners/admins never even made a post or gave a heads up about it. To think that some people donated a day or two before means they were basically scammed out of their money. Even greater shame to see how much the owner cared about his server.

That day he told me on skype he was probably going to make a post but never did. He also said that him and ebon had some side project that they were working on so i guess he decided to just forget about the server and go work on that.

like if he was gonna make a post, why didn't he atleast tell you why? don't you know something? and cant you still contact them?
