[center]Welcome to Rise of the Elders! A minecraft RP server, made for both beginner roleplayers and hardcore roleplayers.
Now, I bet you are asking How can I be hardcore? Well, if you say you are a beginner, we will (NOT ALWAYS) accept you, but you will go into RP Training. RP Training, or RPT is for new roleplayers, who want to learn how to be awesome. RPT is just like roleplay, except it is ok to make mistakes, because that is how you learn. RPT is also helpful for joining future RP servers. This feature is only a small part of an AWESOME RP-Server-That-Might-Get-You-Addicted-Until-You-Lose-Your-Job. SO LET'S GET STARTED![/center]

[center]The Past[/center]
[center]Year 1-154:
In the beginning there was the creator and only the creator. He created the three worlds, the spirit world, the underworld, and the mortal world. The worlds were inhabited with life, yet life was meaningless. The creator then from the ashes of the underworld created Firmus, the spirit of power. Firmus was responsible for the balance of all three worlds and to never let them slip into one another. He was created for the balance of power and war. Yet war lacked strategy, so the creator formed another spirit from the vastness of the void, Agnitia, the spirit of knowledge. She was responsible for the creation of philosophy and understanding. She was told to balance knowledge between the three worlds. The creator created the first civilization, humans, to rule the mortal world. He then created the beings of the underworld, the succubi, to fly and rule throughout the underworld. Lastly the creator placed Firmus and Agnitia into the spirit world, a place of endlessness where the limit was one’s mind. Now the humans were meaningless and weak, so Agnitia gave them knowledge. This was called “Agnitia’s Gift” in other realms, for the humans never knew of the existence of the spirits and succubi. Her gift gave the humans the gift of invention and technology. Firmis decided to contribute to Agnitia’s investment, giving the humans magic to control using spellbooks and powder.
Year 155-1458:
As time passed humanity began to build and progress. In time civilization has taken life to the sky, using magic to lift great structures into the sky. Mixing technology with magic, making a greater power in which they called “Versus”. The humans used Versus to progress and conquer the surface of the mortal world. Over time, in the 1423rd year, a group of mortals formed, in which the mortals called “The Elders”. The Elders were a group of beings that were experts in the way of Versus. Each Elder had one weapon that morals called “The Ancient Weapons”. Each ancient weapon was capable of mass power, giving the wielder immense capability. Upon the year of 1456 The Elders’ mortality was closing in. The Elders had to devise a plan on what to do with their gift, if they should hide it or destroy it. There was great disagreement between the group, they were split on their decision. The Elders then decided to hide their gifts so that they may be used in a later period in time. Each elder formed their own temple, scattered across the region, each temple containing an ancient weapon, spellbooks, and their treasures. The Elders then locked their temples with keys and placed them in specific locations, some were placed inside temples. The Elders had devised their own language and then translated the spellbooks to this private language, making it so that it wasn’t understandable to the naked eye. The spellbooks contained magic abilities and able the beholder to use the book to bend the elements. The Elders then created The Lexicon, a book with the Elder’s language in it. The Lexicon can be used to translate the spellbooks, but only the master of knowledge may understand the spellbooks without The Lexicon.
Year 1459- 1894:
Agnitia and Firmus found themselves overwhelmed by the mortals progress, fearing that the mortals would soon discover the other realms. The two spirits then decided to have a child. Soon enough Agnitia gave birth to a boy, he was named Coma, meaning Light. Coma was given the responsibility of affecting the mortal world through good deed and mortals. He was sent to dwell high in the atmosphere of the mortal world. Once Coma has settled into the mortal world and understood their traditions and personalities, he sent ten men that were to be his priests. Coma’s priests were to keep their master’s name a secret, but to perform miracles and good deeds to influence humanity. Coma then ushered in a time of peace in which the mortal and spirit realm called “The Bright Years”. Where there was no war or hardships. The Bright Years affected both the spirits and the humans, giving the spirits and humans little to worry about. Agnitia’s body was tilted, the birth of Coma caused her soul to lack light. The imbalance between light and dark caused the darkness to change into a spiritual being. Agnitia then gave birth to girl, Acerbus. Acerbus was responsible for the sin and pain that the mortal world held. The creator then told Acerbus to rule over the underworld and to send succubi into the world to tempt and trail the mortals. The succubus then corrupted humanity, splitting the human race into two, this ended The Bright Years. Those who had been corrupted were called “The Corruptus” and those who hadn’t fallen for the succubi’s tricks were called “The Purus”. The Corruptus and The Purus fought for many years, one trying to rule supreme over the other. Both Coma and Acerbus both fought for supremacy. To aid in their war, both Acerbus and Coma created their own race. Acerbus created the orcs, deformed humans built for war, and Coma created the elves, taller, thinner humans with pointed ears with great knowledge of nature and magic.
Year 1895:
This was the final year of the war between Coma and Acerbus. Acerbus had already destroyed Coma’s empire, he was losing the war. The creator then saw what had become of his creation, and for the sake of humanity, gifted Coma with The Nether Star, a powerful crystal capable of holding a spirit inside for one million years. Coma then used The Nether Star to capture Acerbus and end her rein of terror. Yet Acerbus’ rampage left humanity stained, sin now being a part of every mortal. This sin kept humanity from progressing for they feared it wasn’t safe to go on. Once the war was over, both the orcs and the elves were extinct. The land was empty.[/center]
[center]The Badlands[/center]
[center]The Badlands are where your worst nightmares come true. Acerbus, Spirit of Darkness, created The Badlands to force the morals into submission. A region that contain mythical creatures and made up ones; brainwashed and trained to kill anything that breathed. This place contains a dark force inside it. One’s imagination would control what would be inside The Badlands. Once someone thought of something dark and sinister, the power inside The Badlands would create it. Even if the something was good and pure, the power would drain it of its purity and corrupt it. The Badlands continue to spread, slowly surrounding its prey then constricting it.[/center]
[center]The Badlands began with an event called “The Reaping”, where many monsters that already existed in the world were selected randomly to be sent to The Badlands. The Reaping ripped families apart and ruined lives. Once one was selected to enter The Badlands, they would be stripped of their memory and were trained to be natural born killers. While the monster lost its memory, a small bit of them remained deep inside them. This small amount of memory was waiting to be awoken and be freed of their curse. Many of the monsters that were selected tried to escape, but sadly those escapes ended in blood and death. Until one woman, Kitty Tisune, lead a large riot in the facility’s courtyard. The riot smashed through the facility’s defenses freeing over 1,500 monsters, this was called Kitty’s Rebellion. Sadly Kitty’s Rebellion only freed a small amount of the millions of monsters that were selected in The Reaping. These monsters that were less fortunate would then form together and build fortresses inside the region of The Badlands, waiting for its prey to arrive.[/center]
[center]The Badlands had nothing in its way. It was free to rein over the mortals. Until Agnitia, Spirit of Knowledge, constructed The Pillar of Wisdom. The Pillar of Wisdom contained an amazing power inside it, so powerful that is caused the expansion of The Badlands to stop dead in its track. The power holding The Badland’s dark energy back, disabling a vast majority of it powers. Monsters from The Badlands launched multiple attacks on The Pillar of Wisdom, but were easily decimated by Artis, Spirit of the Craft’s, technology. For all knew that if The Pillar of Wisdom were to fall, that it would be the death of all of them. Now The Badlands have gone silent, no trace of life in its regions. The spirits feel something dark is forming and an ancient power is awakening once again.[/center]
[center]Origin of the Elders[/center]
[center]During the times of great struggles between the three realms, the Creator formed the spirit Artis. Artis was called the Spirit of the Craft by the mortals and was worshipped by tinkers and smiths. During these harsh times, Artis would craft the mortals powerful weapons in order to fight off the forces of darkness and evil. A small group of men would gather together every three months and praise Artis for his amazing gifts. Artis soon came to liking these six wise men, developing a strong bond with each and every one of them. As time passed by, darkness was winning. The monsters of the mortal realm and underworld continued to attack. Artis had a great deal of weight on his shoulders, being responsible for making sure the mortals would live on. Yet the monsters only got smarter and stronger and the humans continued to lose. The group of men still continued to worship Artis even during the dark times. Artis had to make a choice, once that could potentially doom the mortals.[/center]
[center]Artis then in secret, crafted six amazing powerful weapons. He called them “Elder Weapons”. Artis gave each of the men inside the small group that worshipped him one of the Elder Weapons. Also giving them cloaks according to their weapons. Artis called this group “The Elders”, a small group of powerful and wise men who swore to protect the mortal realm from the forces of evil. Together The Elders shoved all forces that had gone against them back to their pits, finally releasing the mortals of their time of struggle.[/center]
[center]As time passed, The Elders grew in old age, their physical abilities slowly fading. The group then got together and agreed that they would need to hide their powerful gifts for the sake of humanity. Each Elder then constructed their temple in which they would place their cloak, wealth and Elder Weapon inside and then seal the temple away until reopened at a certain age in time. These temples were scattered throughout the land, their locations unknown. Once completing their temple, they placed a magic ward on each entrance. These wards only allowed access at a time of great struggle, much like what had happened before. Once the job was complete each Elder returned to their homes and told their families goodbye. On that day, at sunset, all six Elders died of old age.[/center]
[center]The Elders, even when dead, were worshipped amongst the mortals for generations and generations. Once The Elders had passed, all weapons created by Artis vanished and Artis had gone silent.[/center]
[center]Races:[/center] Class B Player: One who has not passed RPT (Roleplay Training) on the server and is denied access to Class A Races Class A Player: One who HAS passed RPT (Roleplay Training) on the server, allowing them access to Class A Races. Class A races must follow the OP Character rules, posted on the forums. Class S Player: A high honor on the server. One who has passed RPT in flying colors. All major staff (Mod, Admin, Owner) are S Class Players and are allowed to use these S Class races.
Class B Races:
· Human
o Created by the spirit Agnitia, the Spirit of Knowledge. These beings are able to survive in most climates, those that do not possess dangerous climates. Since the very beginning humanity flourished, without bother. Only then to be terrorized by the underworld. The humans then soon rose from their ashes to push the underworld back to where it belonged. Humans are capable of learning most magic, most weapons, and most armor. They are a mixture of multiple skills, making them strong when bound together.
· Elf
o The creations of Coma, the Spirit of Light. Sword to protect the balance between darkness and light inside the mortal realm. Fought against the orcs during The Great War, between Acerbus and Coma. The Elves would use their highly advanced magic and healing to put themselves above other races. While their technology is weak and small, they stood no chance in hand-to-hand combat.
· Dwarf
o A creation of Firmus, the Spirit of Power. Made to maintain the balance of war between regions an races; using their highly advanced technology to their advantage. The Dwarves would create underground cites, filling them with machines, weaponry, and housing. While their technology was strong their ability to use magic was nonexistent. Yet their technology allowed them to rise over some of the other races.
· Orc
o A creation of Acerbus, the Spirit of Darkness. Sworn to Acerbus’ allegiance, and to fight those who opposed Acerbus and themselves. This race being quiet dumb, unable to speak mortal tongue properly nor learn magic. Orcs were build strong and heavy, making them perfect for hand-to-hand combat. Giving them a great advantage of someone of smaller size and weight. Their cities were small and looked more like wooden fortresses than actual cities. Their weaponry was very advanced, composing of only traps that used tripwires and stones.
Class A Races:
· Kitsuna
o One of the four fox hybrids. Created by Acerbus, Spirit of Darkness. The Kitsuna are capable of bending the element of fire and are able to shift into a beast form with the strength and speed of a tiger. The Kitsuna are also able to heal flesh wounds with their magic, but are nearly unable to help with broken bones or illness. Kitsuna originally were intended to fight as warriors for Acerbus, until Acerbus was trapped inside the Nether Star and her rank in the underworld had fallen. Kitsuna then left the underworld and went to the mortal world to live amongst the mortals. Yet most mortals rejected the Kitsuna kind, for they were too dangerous. The Kitsuna now wonder the lands searching for a new hope.
· Vulpes
o One of the four fox hybrids. Created by Agnitia, Spirit of Knowledge. The Vulpes are able to generate ice from the air and are able to shift into a beast form stronger than the Kitsuna but are slower. The Vulpes are also able to control their heartbeat, giving them the ability to focus more or lose less blood when wounded. The Vulpes come from the polar ice caps, way up north. This caused them to be far away of civilization. They would travel the world using glaciers, floating on them across oceans. Many Vulpes traveled to the middle regions of the world to try to find a new hope. They were accepted in most regions because they proved themselves quite helpful and under control.
· Kiiro
o One of the four fox hybrids. Created by Coma, Spirit of Light. The Kiiro are able to control weather and perfect the art of bending lightning. Kiiro are able capable of flight for a short period of time, gyrating their tails are high speeds. The Kiiro are able to change into a smaller beast form, having thinner and weaker bodies, but their powers being enhanced. This species of fox hybrid come from the sky kingdom, Vincent, a floating island that would drift across the world. Kiiro would travel the world along the clouds, slowly drifting across the world; the wind taking them anywhere. The Kiiro were not accepted by human society, their power being too great for the humans to handle. So the Kiiro went back to Vincent, in wait for the generation that would accept them.
· Makkura
o One of the four fox hybrids. Created by Firmus, Spirit of Power. The Makkura are able to compress shadows into dark energy and can transform into a large beast form, making them quick and powerful. The Makkura originated in the mortal world, deep inside the earth’s underground. The Makkura are also able to turn transparent for a short period of time when in beast form. Even though they are transparent, there is still a slight outline of their body. The Makkura would travel the world using underground tunnels that they burrowed. These tunnels still exist today, but they are quite small. The Makkura made no attempt to join mortal society, for they saw no gain in their alliance with them. They would remain in the shadows amongst the living, waiting for an opportunity to show the world what they are capable of.

[center]Death, Combat, and everything else like that rules:
1. Do not go around and attack people, like "ERMAGERD, MERDER!" because it is stupid, annoying, and boring.
2. Every character VS character needs to begin with roleplay. During RP combat, you may describe your character’s actions and reactions, but not those of your opponent.
3. “The Law of CvC”: Be reasonable. Could you REALLY dodge 20 arrows in a row? Can you REALLY punch through iron armor? No, no you can't...
4. Use private messages to communicate with whoever you’re fighting with to resolve any questions.
5. A character can only die when the player accepts death. BUT! You can't be stabbed a billion times in the head and say you lived, because that is just unfair.
6. When you die due to a mob, falling, lava, etc., that isn’t an “RP-Death”. Your character didn’t REALLY die, unless you for some reason want to say they did. Generally RP-Deaths only happen as a result of CvC.
General rules:
1. No powergaming - Making your character God 2.0
2. No Metagaming - Taking info OOC and then using it IC.
3. Please respect staff.
4. No whining when you die
5. No logging off in a fight or any rp.
6. No using /spawn to get out of rp

10. Griefing is allowed in rp, like breaking a window if someone won't let you in their house and you're a mugger.
11. For major griefing, like taking down a castle, you need Sgt_Numjucks permission.

13. To go mining you need to rp it, like no digging 1x2 tunnels, dig a shaft and set up supports for it.
14. Swearing is allowed in rp. No swearing in ooc chat, only in rp chat.
15. Mortal characters can not use magic at first.
16. No one is allowed to use client-sided mods, like x-ray or flymod.
17. You can only cause the death of another character when they allow it, but that does not mean powergame and live through everything.
18. Do not, and I mean DO NOT make a "Batman Character". Batman characters is when your character is like "ERHMAHGERD, MAH FAMILY DIED AND NOW I WANT REVENGE HERPA DERP" in a nutshell.
19: Once your character dies, post an app with your IGN and IC info about your new character on the forums.

(At least 400 words) Biography: Anna was born an orphan and escaped her orphanage at the age of 10. She lived on her own and had no choice but to steal from local bakers and farmers because she was to young to have a job. Once she turned 13, she befriended an old man. Every day, Anna would hand him a piece of her bread in exchange for some gold. One day, she noticed him practicing the use of a sword, and she wanted to learn right away. The old man taught her everything she needed to know. Somehow, she picked it up quickly and knew how to work a sword very easily. When she turned 16, Anna walked in to practice more sword fighting, but she found a group of Greenskins who invaded her village. As she fought for her life, the Greenskins fled. To her dismay, the old man lie on the ground taking his last breath. After this troubling incident, she lived on her own and spent her time adventuring around and living on her own. She did have a job as a blacksmith in a marketplace, and that seemed to take her mind off of things. Since then, she's always wanted to become a soldier and discover her real family. She doesn't know if they have died or are still alive. In her free time she searches for clues on her real family because she know they are out there. She also loves to practice in the forest and visit different lands. She's very stubborn and does not hesitate to physically hurt someone. Usually she just hunts for her own food, and enjoys baking her kill. She loves going on adventures, but it would be even better with someone to join her. Her past slows her down, and always thought the old man would travel with her. She's never felt love, but soon she hopes she will find some love in her life.

When he was but a child, Thar'Gosh was walking around the mine entrance in his village. His father was hard at work, scouring the rocks for ore. Thar'Gosh noticed something glimmering in the grasses under an old tree. He dashed over to it, curious. He found, half buried, a cluster of faintly glowing, cyan-colored crystals. He unearthed them, and felt a strange, almost welcoming warmth emanate from them. He cradled the cluster in his hands, examining every facet and every spire of crystal.
He also heard a faint whispering; but no one was near him. Curiously, he held the cluster to his ear. From it, he heard a great, baritone voice speak to him. But since he was but a child, most of the words he did not know the meaning too.
"Hark, Son of Gosh. We are the ancient chieftains of the Orcs. We bestow upon you a fragment of our intelligence, with the hope that you will bring our people to glory. Fear not, Your time has not come yet. But We will guide you until your hour has arrived.."
Thar'Gosh is more intelligent that the other orcs; Possibly not so much as Goblins, but definitely a contender with the trolls. (At least 400 words) Biography: Jacob was born in a treehouse near a human town. His father was a human who in his younger years, lived with Wood Elves. Which is how he met his mother, a Wood Elf. When he was a child, Jacob's father homeschooled him. His mother knew that he may need to know how to cook so she taught him the culinary arts. When his father tried to teach him swordplay, he was terrible at it. His mother noticed this and thought he may favor the elven side of him. So she gave him a bow and it turned out he was excellent with it. At age 6, he got a pet wolf named silver. Silver never left Jacobs side. Not even at mealtimes. At age 10, Jacob saw men in dark clothes arguing with his father. His father looked scared and Jacob was confused. Jacob tried to go over but his mother wouldn't allow it. Several months later Jacob starting taking trips into the woods and found that he is really good at survival. He was often away from home for short periods of time. He never liked to make mother worry for him. But he still wondered who the men were. At age 12 Jacob demanded why the men kept coming more frequently. His parents told him they were a local gang that wanted money and in return, they wouldn't attack Jacob and his parents. When Jacob was 14 he decided to get rid of the men who were coming twice a week now. His family was low on money because of the hard times of the crops and planting. So one day he confronted them. They tried to kill him but Silver got in the way and ripped one to shreds. The others ran and screamed that they would be back. When Jacob was 15 he came home from one of his survival trips to see his house on fire and his parents cut up and burnt on the lawn. There was a shriveled note in his mothers hand which turned out to be a picture of the family. Jacob took it in his pocket and ran to try to find the gang. He ended up homeless and Silver died of old age when Jacob was 16. This was very bad for Jacob. He was struck with greif. So at age 17 Jacob seized the opportunity to start a new life on the new island. This would be his fresh start.......

Dr. Cazeau's history before he came to the capital is unknown, most of all to Dr. Cazeau. Despite his title, Cazeau is not a real doctor, having only a bachelors degree in fine arts. Nevertheless, he wandered in one day and set up shop, claiming to be able to cure everything from hemmorhoids to compound fractures. In reality, most of what he offers is little more than colored water and theatrics, though he has occasionally been known to do things that are beyond the abilities of even the best food coloring and redstone.
Cazeau fancies himself a 'witch doctor', claiming to be able to commune with the dead and raise people from the grave. The source of his 'power' changes on a nearly daily basis, some days it comes from a tenuous connection to the Spirit of Darkness, or that the dead just really like him, or that he's magic, or that anyone can do it if they just lend him $5 until next Tuesday. If any of these are true, it is likely that he's done some favors for the Darkness , though anyone who talks to the Doctor for more than a few minutes will have serious doubts that even she would take him.
Cazeau is a bit of a collector, and his home is always full of any scrap of material that he can pretend to use for his voodoo. He has a particular fancy for cloth of any kind but especially values any of a loud and garish color. Alchemical ingredients are another favorite, and he almost always has something interesting to trade for either.

Thorgrim is a stout, stubborn and direct Dwarf, he enjoys nothing more than smithing generally retreating for weeks to work on an item of particular interest to him.
Although by no means fully trained by dwarven standards he does show particular promise as a Blacksmith most notably in the crafting of armour having been training under a master armour-smith since an early age. Previous to this Thorgrim was, as most Dwarves, found in the mines learning how to dig and correctly reinforce the ever expanding Dwarven mine networks.
He comes from a family who have had strong links to the higher ranks of Dwarven society and are particularly proud of this fact. The most famous of Thorgrim's ancestors was a Grandfather who served as the personal bodyguard to the King at the time and it is this level of respect Thorgrim aims for himself. His father is also a smith, working for high ranking clients forging weapons and armour.
Thorgrim's home is generally a hectic affair with many on-going engineering endeavours taking up much of the space with another large part dedicated to a small forge he uses to supplement is innovations.

Why did you choose us?: I love roleplay servers, especially medieval fantasy. I chose this one specifically because I prefer a small, but close community. I also like to join servers fairly early because I often find myself neglected and left out if I join three months into a server. This server seems to be small, but growing into a decent sized one, and I can join early. I also appreciate the professional style to the forum topic that shows you care about the server.

(At least 400 words) Biography: Atticus was born to kind and nurturing parents. He lived with his parents in their cabin (which was really more of a shack). The cabin consisted of two rooms, a main hall where Atticus slept, and a small bedroom where his parents slept. The Finch family could have lived in town, in a nicer home -for they had the money- but his father had built the cabin himself and refused to move out. His father was a lumberjack who provided the family with food from the fine mahogany wood he would chop and sell on market day. His mother would spend her time (When she was not cooking or cleaning) reading to Atticus and teaching him of the world. His father started to take Atticus with him to chop wood once Atticus had become eight years of age.
The forest visits were very tranquil for Atticus, his father did not actually make him do any work until he was twelve, so for four years he would run and hide around the majestic beauty of the forest. His father gave him a bow at age ten, along with a few arrows. Atticus spent many hours hunting, and would spend many more hours crafting more arrows to be used when his splintered. Very rarely he would catch something and bring it home for his mother to cook. A few months after beginning to actually work in the forest, his father realized that Atticus was not happy. He tried to cheer him up, but to no avail, Atticus seemed bored of "the same forest, the same trees, the same scenery"
When Atticus was of age, only fifteen in his town, he could choose to be an apprentice to a trade. He chose to help the miners, for what he claimed to be "a lack of anything else that involves exploring" His father was downtrodden, but supported Atticus's choice. Atticus at first despised the mines, but when it came time to explore new caves and unknown ravines, he was once again filled with a childish excitement and sense for adventure. He became skilled at mining, but he soon fell into the same pool of despair as when cutting wood. The task was to repetitive and the novelty soon wore off.
He left the mines at twenty-one, and using all the spare money he had earned, he bought a small house. The house was ugly and square, it was plain and smelled of mold and the ceiling seemed ready to fall in at any moment. Atticus received and idea from the ramshackle house and his father's "cabin". Atticus took his materials, sold his house, and traveled to his parent's house. There he told them of his plan, and they let him stay with them until completion.
His plan began at once;he was going to build his own abode. After many years he had built a sturdy, one room cabin with the help of his father. During this time, news and rumors of a new land had begun to spread across the kingdom like wildfire. The rumors soon became a reality when the first ship left for the new land. Atticus and his parents soon left all that they had and began the long voyage to the new land.

If she comes to investigate I jump her and grab that beautiful necklace and a knife will find a way to her throat; but I feel the hilt and blade is a good replacement for the loss of the necklace. Besides, she probably would have preferred a red necklace anyway. If instead of investigating, she runs for help I take as much from the house as I can carry, but take no longer than a minute or two. I can always try again tomorrow.

(At least 400 words) Biography: Griffe was born into royalty in a sense, because he is the great grand son of the Chief engineer who built the ship, that took all of the greenskins to this land 500 years ago. He has lived his life in the royal way, with lavish things, and hung out with the richest of crowds, but he grew tired of this pointless, writted out life. he began to invest his money in more ethical things.
Griffe became interested in more techinical things like his father in a way. He was intrigued with how things ran, and what made them work, which then sparked his interest is using them in an efficent way, which brought on a whole new sleu of creations. He built defenses for his castle, not in the aspect of towers and guns, but more along the lines of traps, and cages.
He felt his creativity demanded a more... specialized crowd.. Which is when he became affiliated with the worst of crowds. He went from sophisticated dining, to mutton and archery, and from donations to pick pocketing, One thing lead to another and he eventually became oddly interested in Murder, he had'nt tried it yet, but it was sure to come. He purchased lines of books on the methods of killing, and him being the methodical type, he was sure to keep all of these items stowed away. He began following people to learn their life styles, seeing as he had no actual enemies in the town he had to make a few, so he followed a few people around and one peaked his interest.
A man by the name of Lars was a heavy drinker, and a dishonest husband, he felt he could start here... one night after Lars left the bar, Griffe lured him into an alley way, in which he bluntly murdered the man. He felt angry because he knew he could do better then barside bludgeonings. He took more of an interest in peoples reactions to fate, one night he kidnapped a man, and he trapped him in a maze of a sort, which he had worked on for months in the past. To escape the maze you must go through physical and mental punishments, which would then set you free, he studied how he acted in the maze, and how willing he was to be set free, however by the end of the maze the man had gone through all of the punishments but he died from terror, and wounds. He realised now he had a new career path for himself, however he would have to improve his works to allow the unfortunate fellows to live through his experience as reward, also as one to talk about this dreadful experience.....

''Someone killed my father and burned my house'' ''Poor lad, come with me'' Haakon followed the nobleman to a inn where he was staying, the nobleman gave Haakon some coins, sword and armor and said you can stay at my room i will learn you how to fight.
Years had gone since Haakon meet the nobleman and the nobleman had learned him how to fight and Haakon felt that the nobleman was like a father to him. The nobleman had come back to the town after he had been meeting with a trader and gave Haakon a letter where it said where to find the killer, Haakon thanked the nobleman and was on his way to kill the killer but the nobleman stopped him and gave him a powerfull golden sword and said ''Take this and kill that killer...'' Haakon went to kill the killer and when he got to the killers house he found out that the killer was an orc. Haakon shouted to the orc ''Hey! You killed my father, and i am here for my revenge!'' Haakon then pierced his sword through the orc's stomach and asked him why he killed his father the orc then replied ''Orders from Nesto'' the orc then died and Haakon was left to think about what he meant by Nesto.

In the beginning there was the creator and only the creator. He created the three worlds, the spirit world, the underworld, and the mortal world. The worlds were inhabited with life, yet life was meaningless. The creator then from the ashes of the underworld created Firmus, the spirit of power. Firmus was responsible for the balance of all three worlds and to never let them slip into one another. He was created for the balance of power and war. Yet war lacked strategy, so the creator formed another spirit from the vastness of the void, Agnitia, the spirit of knowledge. She was responsible for the creation of philosophy and understanding. She was told to balance knowledge between the three worlds. The creator created the first civilization, humans, to rule the mortal world. He then created the beings of the underworld, the succubi, to fly and rule throughout the underworld. Lastly the creator placed Firmus and Agnitia into the spirit world, a place of endlessness where the limit was one’s mind. Now the humans were meaningless and weak, so Agnitia gave them knowledge. This was called “Agnitia’s Gift” in other realms, for the humans never knew of the existence of the spirits and succubi. Her gift gave the humans the gift of invention and technology. Firmis decided to contribute to Agnitia’s investment, giving the humans magic to control using spellbooks and powder.
Year 155-1458:
As time passed humanity began to build and progress. In time civilization has taken life to the sky, using magic to lift great structures into the sky. Mixing technology with magic, making a greater power in which they called “Versus”. The humans used Versus to progress and conquer the surface of the mortal world. Over time, in the 1423rd year, a group of mortals formed, in which the mortals called “The Elders”. The Elders were a group of beings that were experts in the way of Versus. Each Elder had one weapon that morals called “The Ancient Weapons”. Each ancient weapon was capable of mass power, giving the wielder immense capability. Upon the year of 1456 The Elders’ mortality was closing in. The Elders had to devise a plan on what to do with their gift, if they should hide it or destroy it. There was great disagreement between the group, they were split on their decision. The Elders then decided to hide their gifts so that they may be used in a later period in time. Each elder formed their own temple, scattered across the region, each temple containing an ancient weapon, spellbooks, and their treasures. The Elders then locked their temples with keys and placed them in specific locations, some were placed inside temples. The Elders had devised their own language and then translated the spellbooks to this private language, making it so that it wasn’t understandable to the naked eye. The spellbooks contained magic abilities and able the beholder to use the book to bend the elements. The Elders then created The Lexicon, a book with the Elder’s language in it. The Lexicon can be used to translate the spellbooks, but only the master of knowledge may understand the spellbooks without The Lexicon.
Year 1459- 1894:
Agnitia and Firmus found themselves overwhelmed by the mortals progress, fearing that the mortals would soon discover the other realms. The two spirits then decided to have a child. Soon enough Agnitia gave birth to a boy, he was named Coma, meaning Light. Coma was given the responsibility of affecting the mortal world through good deed and mortals. He was sent to dwell high in the atmosphere of the mortal world. Once Coma has settled into the mortal world and understood their traditions and personalities, he sent ten men that were to be his priests. Coma’s priests were to keep their master’s name a secret, but to perform miracles and good deeds to influence humanity. Coma then ushered in a time of peace in which the mortal and spirit realm called “The Bright Years”. Where there was no war or hardships. The Bright Years affected both the spirits and the humans, giving the spirits and humans little to worry about. Agnitia’s body was tilted, the birth of Coma caused her soul to lack light. The imbalance between light and dark caused the darkness to change into a spiritual being. Agnitia then gave birth to girl, Acerbus. Acerbus was responsible for the sin and pain that the mortal world held. The creator then told Acerbus to rule over the underworld and to send succubi into the world to tempt and trail the mortals. The succubus then corrupted humanity, splitting the human race into two, this ended The Bright Years. Those who had been corrupted were called “The Corruptus” and those who hadn’t fallen for the succubi’s tricks were called “The Purus”. The Corruptus and The Purus fought for many years, one trying to rule supreme over the other. Both Coma and Acerbus both fought for supremacy. To aid in their war, both Acerbus and Coma created their own race. Acerbus created the orcs, deformed humans built for war, and Coma created the elves, taller, thinner humans with pointed ears with great knowledge of nature and magic.
Year 1895:
This was the final year of the war between Coma and Acerbus. Acerbus had already destroyed Coma’s empire, he was losing the war. The creator then saw what had become of his creation, and for the sake of humanity, gifted Coma with The Nether Star, a powerful crystal capable of holding a spirit inside for one million years. Coma then used The Nether Star to capture Acerbus and end her rein of terror. Yet Acerbus’ rampage left humanity stained, sin now being a part of every mortal. This sin kept humanity from progressing for they feared it wasn’t safe to go on. Once the war was over, both the orcs and the elves were extinct. The land was empty.[/center]
[center]The Badlands[/center]
[center]The Badlands are where your worst nightmares come true. Acerbus, Spirit of Darkness, created The Badlands to force the morals into submission. A region that contain mythical creatures and made up ones; brainwashed and trained to kill anything that breathed. This place contains a dark force inside it. One’s imagination would control what would be inside The Badlands. Once someone thought of something dark and sinister, the power inside The Badlands would create it. Even if the something was good and pure, the power would drain it of its purity and corrupt it. The Badlands continue to spread, slowly surrounding its prey then constricting it.[/center]
[center]The Badlands began with an event called “The Reaping”, where many monsters that already existed in the world were selected randomly to be sent to The Badlands. The Reaping ripped families apart and ruined lives. Once one was selected to enter The Badlands, they would be stripped of their memory and were trained to be natural born killers. While the monster lost its memory, a small bit of them remained deep inside them. This small amount of memory was waiting to be awoken and be freed of their curse. Many of the monsters that were selected tried to escape, but sadly those escapes ended in blood and death. Until one woman, Kitty Tisune, lead a large riot in the facility’s courtyard. The riot smashed through the facility’s defenses freeing over 1,500 monsters, this was called Kitty’s Rebellion. Sadly Kitty’s Rebellion only freed a small amount of the millions of monsters that were selected in The Reaping. These monsters that were less fortunate would then form together and build fortresses inside the region of The Badlands, waiting for its prey to arrive.[/center]
[center]The Badlands had nothing in its way. It was free to rein over the mortals. Until Agnitia, Spirit of Knowledge, constructed The Pillar of Wisdom. The Pillar of Wisdom contained an amazing power inside it, so powerful that is caused the expansion of The Badlands to stop dead in its track. The power holding The Badland’s dark energy back, disabling a vast majority of it powers. Monsters from The Badlands launched multiple attacks on The Pillar of Wisdom, but were easily decimated by Artis, Spirit of the Craft’s, technology. For all knew that if The Pillar of Wisdom were to fall, that it would be the death of all of them. Now The Badlands have gone silent, no trace of life in its regions. The spirits feel something dark is forming and an ancient power is awakening once again.[/center]
[center]Origin of the Elders[/center]
[center]During the times of great struggles between the three realms, the Creator formed the spirit Artis. Artis was called the Spirit of the Craft by the mortals and was worshipped by tinkers and smiths. During these harsh times, Artis would craft the mortals powerful weapons in order to fight off the forces of darkness and evil. A small group of men would gather together every three months and praise Artis for his amazing gifts. Artis soon came to liking these six wise men, developing a strong bond with each and every one of them. As time passed by, darkness was winning. The monsters of the mortal realm and underworld continued to attack. Artis had a great deal of weight on his shoulders, being responsible for making sure the mortals would live on. Yet the monsters only got smarter and stronger and the humans continued to lose. The group of men still continued to worship Artis even during the dark times. Artis had to make a choice, once that could potentially doom the mortals.[/center]
[center]Artis then in secret, crafted six amazing powerful weapons. He called them “Elder Weapons”. Artis gave each of the men inside the small group that worshipped him one of the Elder Weapons. Also giving them cloaks according to their weapons. Artis called this group “The Elders”, a small group of powerful and wise men who swore to protect the mortal realm from the forces of evil. Together The Elders shoved all forces that had gone against them back to their pits, finally releasing the mortals of their time of struggle.[/center]
[center]As time passed, The Elders grew in old age, their physical abilities slowly fading. The group then got together and agreed that they would need to hide their powerful gifts for the sake of humanity. Each Elder then constructed their temple in which they would place their cloak, wealth and Elder Weapon inside and then seal the temple away until reopened at a certain age in time. These temples were scattered throughout the land, their locations unknown. Once completing their temple, they placed a magic ward on each entrance. These wards only allowed access at a time of great struggle, much like what had happened before. Once the job was complete each Elder returned to their homes and told their families goodbye. On that day, at sunset, all six Elders died of old age.[/center]
[center]The Elders, even when dead, were worshipped amongst the mortals for generations and generations. Once The Elders had passed, all weapons created by Artis vanished and Artis had gone silent.[/center]

1. Do not go around and attack people, like "ERMAGERD, MERDER!" because it is stupid, annoying, and boring.

3. “The Law of CvC”: Be reasonable. Could you REALLY dodge 20 arrows in a row? Can you REALLY punch through iron armor? No, no you can't...
4. Use private messages to communicate with whoever you’re fighting with to resolve any questions.
5. A character can only die when the player accepts death. BUT! You can't be stabbed a billion times in the head and say you lived, because that is just unfair.
6. When you die due to a mob, falling, lava, etc., that isn’t an “RP-Death”. Your character didn’t REALLY die, unless you for some reason want to say they did. Generally RP-Deaths only happen as a result of CvC.

When he was but a child, Thar'Gosh was walking around the mine entrance in his village. His father was hard at work, scouring the rocks for ore. Thar'Gosh noticed something glimmering in the grasses under an old tree. He dashed over to it, curious. He found, half buried, a cluster of faintly glowing, cyan-colored crystals. He unearthed them, and felt a strange, almost welcoming warmth emanate from them. He cradled the cluster in his hands, examining every facet and every spire of crystal.
He also heard a faint whispering; but no one was near him. Curiously, he held the cluster to his ear. From it, he heard a great, baritone voice speak to him. But since he was but a child, most of the words he did not know the meaning too.
"Hark, Son of Gosh. We are the ancient chieftains of the Orcs. We bestow upon you a fragment of our intelligence, with the hope that you will bring our people to glory. Fear not, Your time has not come yet. But We will guide you until your hour has arrived.."
Thar'Gosh is more intelligent that the other orcs; Possibly not so much as Goblins, but definitely a contender with the trolls. He understands reason and logic, but advanced machinations and eloquent language eludes him. He speaks little, and what he does say is brief and to the point. His mindset is that of a utilitarian; If it has no functional use, it's not needed.
He wears a kilt of wolf pelts, adorned with the special crystals he believes are attuned to his ancestor's spirits. He also wears wolf-fur bracers to protect his lower arms from falling rocks and debris, and a wolf-fur hood to protect his face and head. He wears nothing on his chest and abdomen; save a talisman, made of the same crystals as are in his kilt, around his neck.
"You Reap What You Sow" He'd always say.
Hard work and communal prosperity are the two things he believes fervently in. If he or someone he cared about was under distress or assault, he'd not waste a single breath to grab an axe and plunge it into the attacker's skull.
Thar'Gosh never really cared for the war between his people and the Humans and Elves. It was before his time, and was a long-faded whisper in his mind. He preferred working the mines or reaping lumber from the forests. Things he knew how to do, and how to do them well. What does it matter that a war was waged some five hundred-odd years in the past? There is ore to mine. That is for certain.

(At least 400 words) Biography: Jacob was born in a treehouse near a human town. His father was a human who in his younger years, lived with Wood Elves. Which is how he met his mother, a Wood Elf. When he was a child, Jacob's father homeschooled him. His mother knew that he may need to know how to cook so she taught him the culinary arts. When his father tried to teach him swordplay, he was terrible at it. His mother noticed this and thought he may favor the elven side of him. So she gave him a bow and it turned out he was excellent with it. At age 6, he got a pet wolf named silver. Silver never left Jacobs side. Not even at mealtimes. At age 10, Jacob saw men in dark clothes arguing with his father. His father looked scared and Jacob was confused. Jacob tried to go over but his mother wouldn't allow it. Several months later Jacob starting taking trips into the woods and found that he is really good at survival. He was often away from home for short periods of time. He never liked to make mother worry for him. But he still wondered who the men were. At age 12 Jacob demanded why the men kept coming more frequently. His parents told him they were a local gang that wanted money and in return, they wouldn't attack Jacob and his parents. When Jacob was 14 he decided to get rid of the men who were coming twice a week now. His family was low on money because of the hard times of the crops and planting. So one day he confronted them. They tried to kill him but Silver got in the way and ripped one to shreds. The others ran and screamed that they would be back. When Jacob was 15 he came home from one of his survival trips to see his house on fire and his parents cut up and burnt on the lawn. There was a shriveled note in his mothers hand which turned out to be a picture of the family. Jacob took it in his pocket and ran to try to find the gang. He ended up homeless and Silver died of old age when Jacob was 16. This was very bad for Jacob. He was struck with greif. So at age 17 Jacob seized the opportunity to start a new life on the new island. This would be his fresh start.......

Dr. Cazeau's history before he came to the capital is unknown, most of all to Dr. Cazeau. Despite his title, Cazeau is not a real doctor, having only a bachelors degree in fine arts. Nevertheless, he wandered in one day and set up shop, claiming to be able to cure everything from hemmorhoids to compound fractures. In reality, most of what he offers is little more than colored water and theatrics, though he has occasionally been known to do things that are beyond the abilities of even the best food coloring and redstone.
Cazeau fancies himself a 'witch doctor', claiming to be able to commune with the dead and raise people from the grave. The source of his 'power' changes on a nearly daily basis, some days it comes from a tenuous connection to the Spirit of Darkness, or that the dead just really like him, or that he's magic, or that anyone can do it if they just lend him $5 until next Tuesday. If any of these are true, it is likely that he's done some favors for the Darkness , though anyone who talks to the Doctor for more than a few minutes will have serious doubts that even she would take him.
Cazeau is a bit of a collector, and his home is always full of any scrap of material that he can pretend to use for his voodoo. He has a particular fancy for cloth of any kind but especially values any of a loud and garish color. Alchemical ingredients are another favorite, and he almost always has something interesting to trade for either.

Thorgrim is a stout, stubborn and direct Dwarf, he enjoys nothing more than smithing generally retreating for weeks to work on an item of particular interest to him.
Although by no means fully trained by dwarven standards he does show particular promise as a Blacksmith most notably in the crafting of armour having been training under a master armour-smith since an early age. Previous to this Thorgrim was, as most Dwarves, found in the mines learning how to dig and correctly reinforce the ever expanding Dwarven mine networks.
He comes from a family who have had strong links to the higher ranks of Dwarven society and are particularly proud of this fact. The most famous of Thorgrim's ancestors was a Grandfather who served as the personal bodyguard to the King at the time and it is this level of respect Thorgrim aims for himself. His father is also a smith, working for high ranking clients forging weapons and armour.

Why did you choose us?: seemed like an interesting and entertaing server, To be honest ive been looking for a Medieval server for a while now

What is your experience with roleplay servers? What servers where they?: pretty well, most other servers ive played on were RP, i dont think i can give you straight names given i cant remember things very well , however im familiar with all of the little subleties that come with RP, im no stranger.

(At least 400 words) Biography: Griffe was born into royalty in a sense, because he is the great grand son of the Chief engineer who built the ship, that took all of the greenskins to this land 500 years ago. He has lived his life in the royal way, with lavish things, and hung out with the richest of crowds, but he grew tired of this pointless, writted out life. he began to invest his money in more ethical things.
Griffe became interested in more techinical things like his father in a way. He was intrigued with how things ran, and what made them work, which then sparked his interest is using them in an efficent way, which brought on a whole new sleu of creations. He built defenses for his castle, not in the aspect of towers and guns, but more along the lines of traps, and cages.
He felt his creativity demanded a more... specialized crowd.. Which is when he became affiliated with the worst of crowds. He went from sophisticated dining, to mutton and archery, and from donations to pick pocketing, One thing lead to another and he eventually became oddly interested in Murder, he had'nt tried it yet, but it was sure to come. He purchased lines of books on the methods of killing, and him being the methodical type, he was sure to keep all of these items stowed away. He began following people to learn their life styles, seeing as he had no actual enemies in the town he had to make a few, so he followed a few people around and one peaked his interest.
A man by the name of Lars was a heavy drinker, and a dishonest husband, he felt he could start here... one night after Lars left the bar, Griffe lured him into an alley way, in which he bluntly murdered the man. He felt angry because he knew he could do better then barside bludgeonings. He took more of an interest in peoples reactions to fate, one night he kidnapped a man, and he trapped him in a maze of a sort, which he had worked on for months in the past. To escape the maze you must go through physical and mental punishments, which would then set you free, he studied how he acted in the maze, and how willing he was to be set free, however by the end of the maze the man had gone through all of the punishments but he died from terror, and wounds. He realised now he had a new career path for himself, however he would have to improve his works to allow the unfortunate fellows to live through his experience as reward, also as one to talk about this dreadful experience.....

(At least 400 words) Biography: Haakon was born at a farm where he was raised by a nord named Skafti, Skafti learned Haakon blacksmithing but Skafti got killed when Haakon was 17 so Haakon took his fathers sword and chased after the killer but haakon lost him and Haakon went back to his house only to find it burned down so Haakon was forced tolive at the streets Haakon meet a nobleman visiting the town Haakon was staying in, the nobleman walked up to Haakon and said ''What are you doing all alone out here boy?'' ''Someone killed my father and burned my house'' ''Poor lad, come with me'' Haakon followed the nobleman to a inn where he was staying, the nobleman gave Haakon some coins, sword and armor and said you can stay at my room i will learn you how to fight.
Years had gone since Haakon meet the nobleman and the nobleman had learned him how to fight and Haakon felt that the nobleman was like a father to him. The nobleman had come back to the town after he had been meeting with a trader and gave Haakon a letter where it said where to find the killer, Haakon thanked the nobleman and was on his way to kill the killer but the nobleman stopped him and gave him a powerfull golden sword and said ''Take this and kill that killer...'' Haakon went to kill the killer and when he got to the killers house he found out that the killer was an orc. Haakon shouted to the orc ''Hey! You killed my father, and i am here for my revenge!'' Haakon then pierced his sword through the orc's stomach and asked him why he killed his father the orc then replied ''Orders from Nesto'' the orc then died and Haakon was left to think about what he meant by Nesto.
