IGN (In-Game-Name): Darkdestie Ban Record (Have you ever been banned before, and if so, under what circumstances?): Never had a long term ban, had a 2 hour ban once before because of some stupid reason, was a long time ago though. Age: 15 About yourself: I enjoy to play Minecraft, especially with mods since Vanilla Minecraft gets boring after you get to The END. I'm more of a loner when it comes to building and such but I enjoy to play on multiplayer servers so that I can talk, trade with, and help people out. I'm kind of experienced with Tekkit, although I know there are more things that I could learn.
Also, do you have Skype? If you do then please Inbox it to me because I would like to know if you would like me to host the server for you. My Skype name is Darkdestie50.
IF that port doesnt work,
Q: Whenever I try to get the server up, it says "Failed to Bind to Port."
A: This usually means that you have tried to use a port that is already in use or that you do not have permission to use (ports < 1024 are privileged and require root to bind to). You can try a different port by changing it in your server.properties file in this line: server-port=25565.
Note: You should avoid using the following ports for your server as some ISPs may block these ports for security reasons and you shouldn't be running the Minecraft server as root (in the case of a Linux type OS and ports < 1024):
21 (Used by most FTP Servers)
22 (Used by Secure Shell daemon)
25 (Used by Mail Servers for SMTP)
53 (Used by DNS Servers)
80 (Used by most Web Servers)
110 (Used by most Mail Servers for POP3)
115 (Used by Simple File Transfer Protocol)
143 (Used by Mail Servers for IMAP)
443 (SSL port for Web Servers)
3306 (Used by most MySQL Servers)
Generally avoid any port below number 1024, since those ports are generally referred as and are registered with the IANA for important services.
Where you put in the server IP, take it out in the Server.properties file. The server will still have an IP, and it will still be the same, this is how i had to do it at least. But leave the port 25565. Also make sure you have port forwarded that port. Although I would like it if we could talk on Skype so that it will be easier to help you, if you have a skype that is.
Try to connect now, type in 18.104.22.168, supposedly one should not use a server port if they are not running Hamachi
Honestly, do you have a Skype. Because like I said I would like to help you with this problem and I basically know exactly what's wrong as I use to run a server. Like I said before, my Skype name is Darkdestie50, and also like I said if you have a Skype account.

IGN (In-Game-Name): youngjngyng Ban Record: never been banned Age: 19 About yourself: I am new to Tekkit, but certainly not to minecraft I've been looking for a server where I can properly enjoy tekkit, and I think this might be it, other servers were either too crowded, or full of immature players, so I'm hoping that this server will give me a good community to work with.
