I will be reviving the server to what it was originally envisioned to be, and I apologize for the downtime and down right pathetic excuse for management during my away time. I assure you nothing of this stature will occur again.
First of all, I wanted to say that I've really enjoyed playing on this server so far. The set-up is fantastic, and the people have been great. The only reason I wanted to make this suggestion is with the desire to make something great even more fantastic. I love the store set-up you have right now. However, I know of a plugin that is very similar in format to what you guys are using, but with 2 main differences.
In the event that you want to sell an item but do not have the number listed on the sign, you are still allowed to sell, but are paid a pro-rated amount according to how many of the item you had. For instance, if a sign indicated you could sell 16 cobblestone for $16, but you only had 10 in your inventory, you would be paid a pro-rated amount of $10 instead.
You only need 1 sign per item as it displays both the buy and sell price of the items. This would save you guys a bit of space in your store and allow for more item possibilities if you only needed 1 sign per item instead of 2. You simply left-click the sign to sell the designated amount, or right-click to buy the designated amount.
Like I said, I really like what you guys have going on with MineBomb. I hope you'll take my suggestion into account at least. I believe these minor tweaks can make an already fantastic experience even better. But, if you choose to stay with what you have, I won't be insulted. It is your server afterall.
Oh, and the run-down of the sign by line is as follows:
Store name - In the store in the picture, it's the name of the server account and all money goes in and out of there, not a player.
Number of the item to buy or sell - So if it's 1, the prices are for 1 of that item. Similarly, if it were, say, 16, then the prices to buy and sell would be for 16 of that item.
The purchase and sale prices - The number on the left next to the B (which stands for BUY) is the price at which you would buy those items. The number on the right next to the S (which stands for SELL) is the price you would receive for selling those items.
Item name - Just like it sounds, this is the item you are buying or selling.

I appreciate your suggestion for the server and I'm glad you're having a good time here with us! We're really glad to have you with us and I definitely love your builds so far! Your idea sounds good, but I'll have to ask the other members what they think before I make the change. Also you forgot to mention the name of this plugin in your post?
Oh, sorry about that. It's ChestShop. The plugin also allows for players to create shops using chests below the signs to store supplies/items for sale, and any money made goes directly to the player. However, I never wanted the plugin for that functionality. I just used it for the admin piece so players would have somewhere to buy and sell their items. I found it worked out rather well.
Anyway, even if you end up staying with your current plugin, I would like to formally request the addition of more items to buy and sell. I'd especially love to see things like lapis blocks, and obsidian.

We do in fact offer lapis and obsidian blocks for sale. Unfortunately, however, they are only currently available to VIP players and VIPGold players. I could consider putting them into the main shop. The only reason I took them out was to prevent grieving, and as an incentive for fair and honest game-play. That's all I ask for in my members. You seem like a really enthusiastic player, and types like you earn VIP in no time so don't sweat it! You'll have access to obstone and lapblocks in no time

Hello, Player, and welcome to MineBomb Update 1.0! We appreciate you taking your time out to read this update, and we are glad to have you as a member of our server! And if you're not a member of our server: We'd love to make you one! We are aware that this update is a little past due, but we wanted to make sure everything was perfect before we began advertising again!
As many of you know, MineBomb just recently switched hosts - and we are now using a third party host! We'd like to reassure our members that the Founders are paying for the server hosting out of pockets - and we will still remain 100% free. No one will be required to donate a thing! And for the record, and donation offers will be refused - and no, they will not earn you any ranks or powers. We appreciate the offer though, we really do.
With the recent update; we created a new map! Now we have three (four) marvelous cities for new players to choose from! From the old-timey wood/stone look of Twin Lakes, the hut and shack shady/desert look of Sandville, to the breath taking modern day city model of Nirvana (Smalltopia), there are unlimited options for our members to choose from!
We Are Still Surviving...
With the new update we'd like to assure all of our members that the server is still survival. Despite the rise and decline in staff member personell, and unwanted creative mode being thrown around (which is now under control), the server is still survival based and we are still striving to keep it as close to vanilla as possible.
New Strong, Experienced, and Understanding Staff...
As aforementioned, we do have a new staff.. and have given several promotions to overly deserving members! So we'd greaty appreciate everyone congratulating these new players on their staff positions, and we do hope you will treat them all with the same respect that you'd like to be treated with! That being said, here is the new staff roster - Read it and remember it because I think it's a pretty solid one that we'll be sticking to for quite some time!

Future Leaks...
With the new server, the staff have decided that for each update it would be neat to offer some leaks on future, planned updates for the server to keep you all excited. Therefore, we'd like to give a little hint at what is on the horizon!
- While we will still be remaining a survival server, the staff and myself decided it would be beneficial to the players to have a PVP and Mob arena in a seperate world to keep the players entertained when they hit that dull moment of (I just finished harvesting and breeding and have 4 stacks of diamonds - What the hell can I do now?) So keep your eye out and be ready to some awesome CTF - Or TDM?
Hmm, looks interesting. I'm kinda in the market for a new server (I just quit my previous one a month or so ago. I was part of the community, but school kept me from playing constantly like some of the others did, so I felt left out.)
A few questions:
-What's this about VIP players? I saw that in the comments, but I'm not sure what's going on there.
-Is that stuff in the title banner in the server (well, I guess it would be)? Do you guys have some sort of ruin/temple plugin, because I like exploring monster-infested ruins for loot, or even just for the heck of it.
-How big is this community? My old server had a population boom, then died back, so all the good land had abandoned stuff on it.
... I think that's it. I'd be happy if you would answer my questions, but no pressure. I'll check this server out when I get time (sooner than later).

To answer your question - VIP status is just a status that signifies that a player has been active on the server for a while (There is no set time line that you have to meet - It's just about how mature you are and whether or not you are actually here to play, or ask for OP or grief..) Basically it's like you "Thank you for choosing us" it gives you certain abilities like /tpa and /nickname just fun little creative stuff that players like to mess around with
The banner is actually a picture of a new town/city we are working on for the players. We've yet to decide whether or not we want to make it a town where the players live or build, or rather an abandoned city that the players can explore (with hidden temples/treasures.) I think we are leaning more toward plan B though as members seem to get excited at the mention of "treasures"
And the population.. well we have 30-40 active players, but only 10-20 players are online at any given time so we're not too big and not too small. We all know each other and I think that's what sets us aside from other servers
I do hope that we will see you in-game and I also hope you will enjoy your time on the server!

This server is probably one of the best servers I've ever been on and I've been on MANY I wish there was more items u could sell in the shop though that's not VIP exclusive only. The Mobarena is So much fun! Awesome server!
