Yesterday I was doing a stealth raid at the skellys base, It was Worth watching. Me and ace planned out the raid ace would be the eye in the sky and tell me through party chat if any scouts where around, this raid objective was to not be seen and get to there chests. We headed up Mnt Creeper (named after our faction cause its like next to it)there was about two guards searching the forest, we had to move fast, we got to the cliff over a small lake and. This was the part where ace would go around to a small clearing on the cliff with a good view of their forest and base, I jumped off the cliff into a 4*4 pool of water 1 block deep. I held space for no Dmg. I ran to a small hill as a got a message in party chat "Watch out about 2 guards around there perimeter ones coming your way" I ran, He had clearly seen my name. I dug a whole and jumped in it covering the top with dirt. I crouched.. He walked over me 4 times. he said "LOL I thought I saw Flurrys name over here. I stand back up when he goes away I say in Party Chat "OMFG THAT WAS CLOSE" ace"Yeah I saw that one" I had to run for it. I jumped out of this hole into the ocean. I swam under water to there walls. I broke in through a passage that leads to there upper mine. I went up stairs, Everyone was scouting. No chest was found. i went down stairs to there mine again, chest found, 16 log and about 64 cobble. I took it all."Raid Complete" ace"Alright Bring it home" I then used F home and the raid was complete... This Is Real.This isnt one of those RP crap servers where they say you do this stuff, This is ConquerCraft where you do do this stuff.
What is conquercraft?
ConquerCraft is a hardcore arena server that is much like a FPS experience, Like CoD or battlefield. The server mostly takes place in maps, made by you the community that each have there own kind of swing to them. Every map has a bit of a back story and is optimized for the best PvP experience possible. You may ask why is this server so different from other PvP servers that have an arena? First off the server IS an arena, there is no questioning, your trapped in a small space with an arsenal of skills and one goal, survive as long as you can without dyeing, build up your class and become the best there ever was. This may sound a bit easy (not really) but it's not. You will die, and you will be mad, but I can't do much about the dyeing part
There are 3 factions in the world of conquercraft, the Dwarves who prefer to live in secret in mountains and underground. The Elves who live in the trees and tend to be one with nature. Then the humans who tend to live in city's guarded by large walls and defensive structure's. The people in your faction will help you through the hard times and fight along side you always. You can't hurt people in your faction so firing at them wont cause harm, but firing at the enemy factions sure will.
How does this all work?
One of the big thing you might be wondering is "Skills? Arena? Sounds to complicated." I am here to explain it all to you. for starters this is NOT a building server, NOT a peaceful server and don't expect that of it. Yours skills or your class come from a plugin called heroes. Without this plugin this sevrer wouldn't be possible. With these skills you will wage epic war on the players around you, party up with the people you can trust and try to become the best PvP there ever was. We have 3 stages of classes currently, tier 1 which is for your starter class and chooses the path you will go down in the future. tier 2 which is after tier 1 and lets you have a greater mastery of the things you do best in that class, then tier 3 allows you very specific control over what you want to do as a player. Granted these ranks wont come easy but the reward is much greater for getting them.
Rules of combat
1. No hacked clients/ modded clients that allow any advantage over other players
2. No chat spamming
3. Try to be considerate to other players, if you just had an epic fight say GF (good fight) not "You hacking piece of **** I ****** your mother you son of a *****"
4. Please respect your admins/moderators we have put in endless hours bringing you this experience and
we greatly appreciate it
5. Spawn camping is not allow, you may only enter a persons spawn if they are fighting you and they flee there. After you kill them gtfo
Heroes as stated above is the plugin that allows for classes to be made and skills to be used, this little bit is to help you configure heroes to best suit you. When you first get into game there will be a sign tutorial read it if something isn't explained enough come here. First thing your gona want to do when picking a heroes class is decided what your going to want to be. At level 1 you can be 1 of 4 classes Mage, Warrior, Rogue, Archer. Choose which one suits you the most. Have you have done that you need to type /Hero choose . It will then ask you to confirm, just type /hero confirm. There you go you got your first class! Next is binding your skills. Type /skills so see what you have for skills. Now inorder for a fast paced PvP experience to happen you need to cast spells like no tomorrow for this we use the bind command. Once you figure out your skills and you want to bind them you first want to hold the tem you want the skill to be on in your hand, then type /bind and it will bind you that item, notice that is will be binded ever time you have that item no matter what slot it's in, so if you bind fireball to a wooden sword every time you pick up a wooden sword fireball will be on it. NOw to use the skill simply right click. There you go a heroes tutorial!

Exp per kill went up to 200 (x 1.5 tier 1 modifier) from 150
Tier 3 concepts have crossed my mind. (Maybe I'm working on them 0.0)
All rogue classes got a 5hp nerf to try to make them less "in your face"
Icebolt damage went up to 10 from 8
firebolt damage went up to 8 from 6
blink went up to 14 blocks from 10
All mana costs where increased by 5

I was aiming for a great Mage buff to hold people off in till I can figure out what I should give them other then pulse and the 3 Mage skills.

I hope this mage change makes mages more viable in battle due to a more risk more reward type of game play, hitting will icebolt for the damage then right after with fireball will be key to maximize your damage output in a short amount of time.
The thought of absorb being put on mage is up for debate but will not happen at this time
(absorb converts damage to mana for a short time)
