WTF he needs to turn down the dam spawn rate for them
PS for Jaka: if your wrong andit doesnt come out tomarow when im back from scholl your ganabe mentaly fawked il figure you out >:l and you link to watever it is keeps 404ing me
Here is my application :smile.gif: I really hope this server is very good. And how will i know when i get accepted and when will the server be on? I heard its not public yet..
Idk why you are getting a 404. The pictures of the enderdragons aren't of the server (we aren't running 1.9_pre). They were just me wanting to show pics of them. For whatever reason Lego has not pmmed people... I can only assume he didn't have time to finish everything he needed to finish yesterday. It really shouldn't take that long, but I gather he was only able to come online for a half-hour yesterday. I'll post more info when I have it.
And I haven't posted a single statement about the server's release without saying PROBABLY, so do not get angry at ME when something doesn't release. I NEVER guarantee, because people get mad if stuff doesn't work out. Unfortunately, some people think "the server will probably be up tomorrow" is a guarantee...
Also I can't really understand your post, shwafle...
I and the other staff have done all the work we possibly can to this point. The rest all must be done by Lego.
I know that, when i sead he I meant Notch and that wasnt a threat il just find some way to fawk with your mind like i do to other people to get rid of them, defend my self, or just to be be mean. And im just rilly anxious whenever i hear it because this is the last server i will play because when i finde one i like its rundown, changed ALOT, or abandond and if its PVP there are lots of campers and no respect for noobs i atleast let someone get a stone sword or leather armer first befor il try to fight.

Humanity's flaws have always been clearly presented; greed, for land and resources, anger, from the simplest of accidents, And ignorance of the dangers presented clearly before them. These, and other imperfections, led to the creation of the Great Plague, a curse to destroy all Kingdoms, Man, Elf, and Dwarf alike. The land would become weak and infertile, the living would become undead, seeking only to kill, and the cities that had lasted for eons would fall within a matter of months.
The King of Ithilia, the most powerful Human nation, was responsible for this. A wealth of new technologies and ideas had sprung up within the year, and rather than attempt futilely to contain them like so many other nations, he had demanded that each new invention became his property. He imprisoned those inventors and innovators who had imagined the greatest of devices, and forced them to create more for him. Hundreds of men and women, from hundreds of miles away, brought to serve him as little more than slaves. More appeared to replace them, and they were imprisoned as well. Soon the armies of Ithilia were fitted with powerful weaponry and armor, the fields were being harvested by strange contraptions, and glowing dust lit the streets at night.
The flaw with this was the resources required for these devices. A man known as Legerus, who had created some of the more wonderful of the new devices, told the king he required materials from Gorthia, the hellish land. Normally, portals to this realm were only constructed by the worshippers of dark spirits, far from the rest of civilisation. As such, they posed little threat, the spirits being tied to the obsidian used in the making of the portals, needing it’s properties to sustain them. However, at the advice of this inventor, the King ordered a portal to be constructed in the middle of the city. With their new technologies, he reasoned, no spirit could stand against his army.
It was this folly that let the first spirit from the Nether into the world. It wreaked havoc upon the town, corrupting the people into lifeless flesh-slaves*. Within an hour, nothing was left alive in the town, save Legerus. The spirit, in its evil, left him to live, and witness for eternity what he had brought upon the world.
The spirit let its damned creatures loose into the world, to spread their plague and end all life. Cities and towns were left empty, their gates open, unsuspecting that the cloaked and hooded creatures entering might not be entirely human.
When word finally spread to bar the gates of cities to these groaning, moaning, and by this stage, decaying corpses, there were few safe places left. The plague evolved into different forms to exploit weaknesses, the fleshless dead taking bows and arrows to compensate for their lack of mass. The most powerful of knights who fell still wear their armour and wield their swords, a true threat to the unprepared. And demons, indescribable in appearence and number, flooded the land.
As a wanderer in the wild lands of Neire-Gorthia, once fair Ithilia, your path is your own. Will you join others and attempt to rebuild the world? Or simply hide, hoping the creatures stumbling down the hills never find you. Whatever you do, never drop your guard. This world is not as peaceful as it once was, and only a fool travels unprepared.
THE LOCATION
(Currently, you are in a ruined castle near Eselahkhe-Nari (Spawn Town). You have been sent there to defend it by the inhabitants of the village. It needs to be kept safe should the town fall.))
Wandering the wasteland of what was once a rich kingdom, you come across a massive ruin. It's bigger than anything you've seen yet. You decide to investigate, and quickly discover this is not merely a ruin. In its center, there is an area that is far from destroyed. Several homes, a small cathedral, a large inn, and what appears to be a town hall are all surrounded by a makeshift barricade. It appears that this little town wasn't always so little, as you realize that this ruin is that of a city. Talking to the locals, you learn about exactly where you are.
The town you're in was once one of the largest settlements in the land. Thousands of people once called it home. Its walls once welcomed many traveling waifs and protected them from enemy armies. But its size was its downfall, as it was with most of the large cities. The vast quantity of life it held attracted hordes of the undead, and a battle where every defender that falls rises up again, but on the enemy's side, is a battle that cannot be won. Thus the walls crumbled, and the hordes poured into the city. They destroyed every structure between them and their victims, quickly turning the city to rubble. It seemed that it would be the end.
But the remaining guards retreated to the center of the town and held off the attackers until dawn, a dawn without storms, which doesn't happen often these days. The sun's first light burned the undead horribly, and they quickly fled. The townspeople gathered materials from the ruined homes of their friends and family, and managed to create a barrier around the surviving area of the town before nightfall. The vastly diminished number of undead proved to be much less of a threat that night, and, as the amount of "food" left in the city was much less, they never again came in such vast numbers as that first, fateful night. Thus, the city lives on, and, although much smaller, still provides a safe haven for travelers like yourself.
The Valley of Uri-Lethaile in which the town is situated was once a peaceful place, protected by mountains on all sides save for the north, which was held by the town itself. But the town is no longer fit to act as a border, and great flying demons called Plague Carriers have no trouble crossing the mountains.
The deep forest to the south of the town is nearly impassable now. The well-defined path that once spanned it from end to end is now quite overgrown due to lack of travel, and the small population of giant spiders it held has skyrocketed without hunters to keep it in check. The elves who live in the woods managed to conceal a small section of the forest from view, and if you have a keen eye, you might be able to find the entrance. But even that area is not safe. The undead wander in quite often, and those that already inhabit it are no weaker than those outside. The elvish stronghold of Tidurion, built around a gigantic tree, and the camp of a few woodsmen are the only truly safe places there. If you wander around the forest for a while, you might find the remains of the mountain path. It once connected to the path that pierced the forest, but it has not survived without damage.
If you happen to find this path, itll take you out of the valley and up to the mountain fortress. This structure once served as a toll crossing for travelers, but it has fallen to the hordes. Most of the walls still stand, but, completely unmanned, they will only serve as a hinderance to reaching the mountains. They say there's a tunnel to the other side of the wall, but it's supposedly inhabited by the knights who once controlled the mountain fortress, and they are not likely to let you pass in their current state. If you manage to survive that, you'll end up in the Mountains of Seshri-Hethelai, where the dwarves live. If you are seeking their protection, you'll have to find the entrance to their caves. That'll be no easy task, though. Those great flying jellyfish, the Plague Carriers, have bombarded this alpine area with their flaming missiles, creating rockfall after rockfall, breaking bridge after bridge. The once simple trek has become an awful hardship. But if you are lucky enough to survive it, the dwarves are waiting for you in their underground metropolis of Yuror, and there's a little miner's camp you might also want to visit.
But the forest and the mountains are the only places you'll be able to get to for a while. The bridge to the north of the town you are in is broken, and the carpenters aren't quite finished fixing it yet. Also, the only way to reach the other side of the mountains is blocked by one of those numerous rockfalls, and the small group of dwarves working on it have their hands full. Don't ask to help them; both groups are prideful and will only get mad if you do. It's best just to be patient, and try your very hardest to survive long enough to see the rest of the world. Enjoy your stay in the Valley of Uri-Lethaile. Let's hope you aren't stuck there forever...
THE ENEMIES
Shades-A demon that appears rarely. Its mental state is unstable in the fashion of its master, and it will remain harmless as long as you don't look directly at it. If you do, it will release its fury, speeding towards you and ripping you apart.
Behemoth-The rarest and most dangerous of demons, it appears only when great harm has been done to the evil legions. It is nearly undefeatable without a large group.
Plague Carrier- The name of this Nether demon comes from when it was first sighted. People would see it floating from afar, and soon after would see the marching dead, leading them to believe these things carried the hordes. However, Plague Carriers are similar to Scorchers in reality, except slower, tougher, and with much better firepower.
Living Plague-These glistening masses are made of the Plague itself. They raise up the hordes as they slide along. They aren't particularly dangerous, but the hordes they summon are.
Tremor-This demon releases a powerful shockwave, killing itself and everyone nearby.
Fallen Soldiers-These are the undead soldiers that once protected the land. A small lingering sense of righteousness remains in them, so they only attack when provoked. They can be very dangerous.
Undead-These are what the inhabitants of the kingdom have become. They are the most common enemy.
Fallen Archer-These are the archers who have succumbed to the plague. Because of the way they fought in life, their bodies were attuned to accuracy and skill rather than speed and strength, so their hindered ability to capture food has left them in a much further state of decay.
Raider-Pure ruthlessness has allowed these criminals to survive. They are as much of a danger to you as any zombies.
Infected Dog-Even animals have become infected. Man's best friend is yet another nightmare now.
Giant Spider-These oversized arachnids have inhabited forests and caves for centuries, but had been kept at bay by hunters and soldiers. Now, with noone controlling the population, their numbers have increased drastically, and you'll find no shortage of them.
Venomous Spiders-This smaller variety of spider tends to be rarer than its cousin, but it is much more deadly. Its poison will push you to the brink of death in no time.
Devourers-These large insects attack in swarms, leaving no trace of their victim. They can appear anywhere.

THE RULES
General Rules
1. No griefing, unless otherwise stated in terms of war between clans.
2. Steal only from chests, furnaces, and similar containers. Taking blocks/items from anywhere else is illegal.
3. PvP is legal, but spawnkilling and stalking are not. Keep it fair and fun.
4. No assisting the undead, i.e. pushing archers off walls, opening doors for the zombies, etc.
5. Always obey the moderators, administrators, and owner. If you have an issue with something they do, take it to another official.
Chat
1. Foul language, including sexual/racist comments, are strictly prohibited. Religiously offensive comments are illegal, too. This is a greviously underused rule on the internet. If you wouldn't say something against a man's skin, you shouldn't say something against religious stuff, even if it's your honest opinion. Use of any aforementioned speak ingame, on the forum, or in ts3/vent will result in a warning or ban.
2. Trolling, spamming, and similar behaviors are not allowed. We can tell the difference between hitting enter too many times and spam, don't worry.
3. Use the appropriate channel. If you are talking to a person who is near enough to talk to in local, use local. Use party chat to talk to party members. Global is for general discussion, and that's about it. Use market for selling/buying(, and nonsense for gloating and ranting).
Privacy
1. Don't give out personal information. We don't want to hear it; the only ones who care are predators.
2. Never EVER give out personal information about another person. Many people here invite their friends to play, and giving out your friend's name or school or anything else will result in an immediate ban.
3. Staff will NEVER ask you for personal information. If they do, tell an admin immediately.
Roleplaying
1. No metagaming. This means don't give yourself abilities that we wouldn't accept in a backstory. If you see a name through a wall, you have to pretend you don't know they are there. Keeping it realistic (as fantasy goes) keeps it fun.
2. Read the roleplaying guidelines found on the server's forum.
3. When in roleplay, some previously stated rules do not apply. Using language is permitted to some extent, as long as it's not too bad. In-character racism is ok (this means elves/dwarves/men racism, not skin color).
4. Don't take anything said in roleplay as something that applies to you. Threats in rp are to your character, not you. Insults are the same too. If something really bothers you, take it to the staff.
Forum
1. All previous rules apply to the forum as well.
2. Post legibly.
3. Post intelligently.
4. All applications go on the forum

THE PACK
http://theplague.freeforums.org/plague-texture-pack-t1996.html

ABOUT THE PLAGUE
The Plague: Reborn is the newest version of the longest running zombie survival server in the Minecraft universe. It is a type of True Survival Minecraft server, centered around the undead characters of Minecraft - in abundance. Based off Medieval Zombie Siege (also by Owner Legolas75893), you must survive the night through the hordes. Zombies, Raiders, and Pig Zombies aren't the only bad guys you'll have to face - but is that your only problem? No, you must also defend yourself from catching an infection. The Plague: Reborn is a 24/7 dedicated Minecraft SMP server aiming to recreate Left 4 Dead in the funnest, most dramatic and fun way possible. You will not survive.
GAME MECHANICS
-PrePreRelease Mechanics-
Don't go in the castle...-Throughout the map of the PrePreRelease, there are several places you should not enter unless you are willing to be destroyed by the undead. These MobArenas will test you strength, skills, and sanity. Don't go in alone...
Sun? Where are you?-The night is infinite, and the weather is inclement... No more light for you...
Stay away from my house!-Grief protection is off during the PrePreRelease. This will change in the future, but for now, the undead aren't your only enemies...
Ever-growing...-The stage we call the PrePreRelease will soon fade into a much more enjoyable, rp-inducive, hardcore environment. We are fixing some plugins, and when that is done, your suffering shall grow exponentially...
