I remember that very well,it was a very nice place to be.
It was in the early days of Elmes server and times were good but troublesome.
We had a minimum of plugins to protect us from griefers and hackers but we still managed to keep our heads above water.
SkyCity was a exactly what it sounds like,a city in the skies.
It started out as a elevated sanctuary to keep us safe from zombies and creepers and quickly expanded to accommodate more and more people.
The first SkyCity was located fairly close to spawn and was subjected to heavy griefing and was burned down by a pyromaniac griefer.
The second one was built at greater distance from spawn and the residents were invited people only to minimize griefer activity.
We had a secret warp and the city expanded at high rate with creative and interesting builds on it.
Sadly the map got reset before it was finished and after that we started making cities on the ground instead since we had access to plugins allowing us to control it better.
A SkyCity III is still on the drawing board and i hope to reconstruct it to its former glory one day :smile.gif:

Isn't there a sky city right now? Because I remember asking Payamus to teleport me to him and he was at a floating city.
It wasn't protected, so I doubt it was built by you, Elme, or Cor.

i do actually have a sky city, but the reason its not big is 1. its more of a private thing where all houses are in a square around each other and there is a small central hub. i wouldve made it bigger if i didnt get bored and knew one day it would reset. cause i got reallly bored the day before i was gonna extend my sky city out with the stone i had in my inv and make the existing area a sort of vip lot.

Ahhhh, Good to be back in my own house and not in a small trailer baring the wilderness with a really small crappy computer trying to play minecraft while tehtered to my crappy phone.
PRO TIP: DON'T GO CAMPING AND TRY TO PLAY MINECRAFT WHILE TEHERED, DOESN'T WORK SO WELL.
Anyway haha had a great time and definatly MUCH NEEDED. Sorry to see the server is down :sad.gif: good to see everyone is baring the storm of having no server.
Hope we can get the server up, running, sparkly, and better than ever!!
And Sinn I am SOOO in on doing to the Sky City III I loved Sky City II. Back in the good old days...

Mortal Kombat is now my favorite game ( you know, until the server is back) i played for 4 hours straight and i decimated people online :biggrin.gif: , im now trying to become an expert on kung loa since he is a very competitive character.

I have not had a day off from work in 2 weeks and now I have it! I am now working on a solution for the server, I know whats wrong, so hopefully in a few hours the server should be running smooth again.
I cannot promise we wont get a new map, since it seems like the current map is a bit bugged.

Good news, the server is running more smooth than ever and the old map is working too! Now to the bad news... Every single region in the server got removed, which means every protection there once were is gone..
