No. You can take their ****, and you can wreck their house. (only valuable and rare blocks, not the base materials that make up its appearance like stone and wood. Why would you want those anyway?)
Teleporting and grief protection come at a steep price (in game, not real money donations), and are only effective in stopping people from breaking blocks to get in(where otherwise they would have to place them back unless it was a rare block). Even if you have grief protections, if your design is poor people could still get in, kill you and take all your items from your chests. Also the teleports takes your in game cash, and only takes you to 4 different corners halfway to the edge of the map, plus no one is allowed to build near them. We get a few people here and there who quit our server because it is too hardcore for them.
Read the entire first post before you resort to name calling please. Don't make yourself look worse than you already do. If you think playing a PVP-only server, or a vanilla server(which would probably ban the likes of you) is more hardcore than Herocraft, then real hardcore servers aren't the servers for you.

Perhaps you don't think the server is 'hardcore' enough. If that's true then that would mean there may be levels of Hardcoreness. or how difficult the server makes doing things. Obviously not everyone can agree on a definition of hardcore, this is exactly what I'm saying. You attempt to prove a common ground using an extreme case where most people would not say it's hardcore. Just because HeroCraft doesn't conform to all of your ideas of what a HardCore server should be, does not mean it isn't hardcore. Not only that, but because 'HardCore' is an ambiguous term the very first post describes what kind HeroCraft ascribes to be. So what's your issue?

Not being allowed to grief doesn't make the game easier. It doesn't change anything related to difficulty. In our server you are allowed to grief rare blocks, which includes but is not limited to:
-pumpkins
-jackolanterns
-mossystone/mossyanything
-iron blocks/ore
-gold blocks/ore
-lappy blocks
-diamond blocks
-bricks
-clay blocks
That only really leaves all items derrived from stone and wood, which you can farm easy. You are also allowed to break any block to persue a player for PVP to take their stuff and rob them.
I'd say the game is just as easy as if griefing was allowed. You are just trollin'.

Hardcore = Challenging gameplay with risk vs reward where you risk more than you get in reward.
PVP = can be hardcore but not the sole requirement - the "Risk" of death from players is needed to be hardcore.
PVE = Monsters/Environmental damage - needs to be higher than average and makes mobs "Scary" because you just cant pick up a diamond sword/armor and kick the **** out of them. PVE is needed to be hardcore
Limited/No Protections = hardcore
Death Penalty = Loss of items / EXP
No free items/teleports = Hardcore!
No free home setting = Hardcore!
Mindlessly Griefing = Not hardcore.
Limitless griefing, harassment, hacking; etc is not hardcore.
It's like a children's playground at that point. The only one that has fun in it are kids. The adults just kind of stand around and wish they werent there.
