Well, Notch is working on the bug as we speak, so I would think it would be solved within a week. Also, remotely hosted servers for Minecraft cost about $70-$100 a month (I think Azrooh woudl have a hard time getting donations for that)

I would prefer to be patient, that way we don't get a week into building + diamonds and lose it all again haha. As much as I want to play on the server again, it wasn't much fun chopping at blocks of obsidian, they break, then re-appear, twice! Hopefully Notch has something out reeeeaal soon though. the void is nonexistant now. i've checked under a map, void spots VERY rarely generate after the halloween update. and I have a plugin to remove those rare spots.

Also if we don't have global they wont even be able to tell us they're in void. Also if they're new they might not know about the forum page to be able to ask you to get out of the void. If needed give supermods the regular powers again along with ability to talk global. Include /msg for everyone. Every now and then if a supermod is on we talk and say. "anyone in need of assistance from a supermod?" This way everyone is still getting protection if needed from supermods, people can kinda talk to each other if they're far away with /msg and the server should be the way you want it still with having to talk locally and survive. People can always travel to spawn to meet new people and invite them to build.
