About Us:
We are an adult community of gamers that want to play in a safe, inclusive, and helping environment working towards a common goal of being an amazing community. We established in 2019 from a group of gamers also looking for adults who share in our passion of gaming, building, inclusiveness, and community and have only grown since that time. We are looking for adult minded players (18+, but 30+ preferred) as most of us are adults with jobs and families. Once you join our community, you are always part of our community - even if you stop playing Minecraft or take a break, you are still a welcome part of the SlowNerd family in our extremely active Discord. Community Info:
-We host on a Java server but we use addons to allow Bedrock clients to connect (Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, Android, iOS) all clients are welcome on our single world.
-We host in a Tier 1 Data Center located in Ashburn, VA (USA) increasing reliability and stability for all players regardless of your location.
-We typically create a centralized city with dedicated plots for players, shopping district, and nether transport hub - and also encourage players to go and explore and find a great place for base locations outside of town as well!
-We encourage cooperative play - and we schedule the Dragon fight and End Busting to accommodate as many players as possible.
-We encourage a strong economy through a dedicated Shopping District, your shop is valuable to everyone!
-We are very protective of players bases, and property - no trespassing or theft is tolerated.
Current World:
We started our current (8th) season on May 25th 2023 with a small world border until 1.20 came out. All starter bases are on the starter island. We removed the world border when 1.20 was released and
we only recently opened the END (2 weeks ago). We have had 43 unique players join us this season, with many still active every day.
