Out of all the servers on /r/mcservers and this forum, this seems like the server for me. A chill tight knit community, where I can play with my friends is what I'm looking for. This server has the features I'm looking for. I like joining a new server because the community is still building, instead of trying to join a group of friends who've played together for many years.
What is your favourite way to play Minecraft?
Just regular survival, I like every aspect of the old school Minecraft playstyle, gathering resources, making farms and building mega builds.
Why do you like the SMP style?
What I replied above just doesn't feel right in single player, I like interacting with others, it makes the game feel more alive.
Do you have any experience with Minecraft communities?
My previous server just died down after a long time, the community fell apart, the owners tried to make a new server, but just couldn't find the motivation to start all over again.
What kinds of activities/hobbies do you have?
I love gaming, sometimes a little too much. In the other times, I like hanging out with friends and my girlfriend. I'm also a semi-professional track and field athlete specializing in the 200m, so I spend a lot of time training.

What is your favorite way to play Minecraft? build stuff like dwarven stuff mostly and fantasy stuff sometimes I get into moods where I just binge build and make a city for nothing that usually ends up with me building a villager trading hall to occupy the houses, ill help people when I can or if they ask for it other that than I like mining for hours.

Do you have any experience with Minecraft communities? yes I ran server moderated a bunch more than all usually die due to the host in part me not having much time but other than that I'm pretty close to a lot of people who I played with and we still play other games together

Why Aurora SMP?: The way you presented the initial intoduction of the server through the effort of your graphic already showed the promise of a great potential community
What is your favourite way to play Minecraft?: I work in an engineering/architecture firm so building is what has always drawn me to this game over the years, there's really no other type of game like this that gives you the freedom to be immersed in an entire infinite world. I also enjoy exploring and finding cool spots the world generates
Why do you like the SMP style?: The community aspect of the game is one of the best parts so an SMP feels natural for someone to join. Building a world together is a fun experience and seeing it evolve through what other people build is cool
Do you have any experience with Minecraft communities?: Yup, I've been playing Minecraft on and off for years. Not sure what the version was in early beta, so Im a vet. So I've pretty much seen everything and every side of this game and differernt communities that formed/joined
What kinds of activities/hobbies do you have?: Recently starting taking up wood carving, and typically hang out with friends or go out but enjoy a relaxing day of doing nothing and gaming.
Love the hermitcraft style, used to play on a similar server like this where I ran a few shops and took part in community events/builds whenever it was possible. Id also love to improve my Redstone game and come up with a few minigames for us all to enjoy

I LOVE community projects. And that's definitely what I hope to offer the server. Developing creative ideas and bringing them to life is what makes this game fun for me. Beyond gameplay.

Why Aurora SMP?: Seems like a fun server to play on, caught my eye while scouring the forum.
What is your favourite way to play Minecraft? Minecraft ain't Minecraft without the multiplayer aspect of the game.
Why do you like the SMP style? My favorite aspect of the SMP style in general is the interaction I can have with other members on the server. I love shenanigans in general, and those kinda moments are what I live for when I play on these kinds of servers.

Why Aurora SMP?: I was looking through the forms when I saw this post. Once upon a time I used to be part of a SMP community also called Aurora, so it ended up peaking my interest.
What is your favourite way to play Minecraft?: I tend to do mostly mining and exploring, I usually make my home within caves or mountainsides. I’m not the best when it comes to large builds or redstone.

I use to play on an SMP years ago but it is no longer active. Now Ive been playing single player on and off for a few years but I can never dedicate more than a week or so to a world before I drop it. I'm hoping that playing SMP will give me a reason to continue playing.

Aurora is a recently started small scale server with minimal intrusive plugins, that runs on fabric, and has an emphasis on community. I mean... You're promising what's essentially the perfect SMP I really struggle to connect with people on my own so I'm hoping that this is a community that will take me in
Also auroras are cool and pretty

Recently it's been getting into technical stuff, farms and villager halls and machines etc. I'm godawful at redstone but I have the power of google to assist me!
I've also been wanting to build a mega project but to be honest it's probably not going to happen, seeing as I'm a terrible builder that gets easily discouraged

It's the only fun way for me to play minecraft. I want as little to do with pvp as possible, and minigames are just awful (this is coming from an MVP+ rank former hypixel player...)
Over the last several years I've met a couple of really good friends on SMPs that I still talk to.

I've probably played at least 10 different SMPs over time at this point. My problem is that I get discouraged after a few months and tend to just move on, instead of giving it a break and coming back. I'm trying not to do that again but it's really hard to control my stupid brain
