After almost 2 years of Harvey, the old Assistant Site Director, being gone, the Foundation NORTHCOM ordered a new ASiD to be appointed. This turned out to be the strict, conservative, and radical, Larry Aoki. At his arrival to facility, he immediately sat things into motion, ordering new controversial policies to be enacted that stood against Site-21's original ambitions.
While many of his actions were controversial, he also greatly increased the site's budget towards research, security, and health. This, of course, was at the expense of having many aspects of the facility changed. A lot of them being a product of Larry's conservative opinion about anomalies — that anomalies should stay contained.
With an exciting period of exponential innovation in both the non-anomalous and anomalous world being entered, Site-21 has to keep up. A fight for control in all aspects including politics, science, diplomacy, and more, is emanating in the anomalous world. This arc will be focused towards a larger world with the introduction of more GOI RP and para-politics. The themes will be character relationships, semi-futurism, innovation, worldbuilding, GOI RP, and political conflict.
Ontokinetics; Theory of Reality - Division Arc
Our understanding of reality has always been flawed — outright lacking. However, in the laboratories of Site-21, filled with blackboards and strange machines, Ontokinetics resides. Led by Dr. J. Merlin, Ontokinetics, with an almost exponential manner, has been accumulating more and more theories and ideas to understand reality. A new project to unite all theories was therefore declared: discovering the theory of reality.
However, although the project originally had a clear path ahead of it, with the recent introduction of Larry Aoki, the future of Ontokinetics has shown great uncertainty.
In the late 19th and early 20th century, a series of intricate and beautiful jewelled eggs known as the Fabergé eggs were created. Originally, it was thought that there existed only 69 eggs in the world. This, however, would prove to be a great misunderstanding, as in the anomalous world, there existed far many more.
