More about the server:
HSH (home sweet home) is a laid back, (mostly) vanilla survival server. I want it to be a mature environment where people feel comfortable meeting eachother in-game and playing cooperatively rather off in the wilderness on their own (as is so often the case in SMP). The server is strictly legit, which means no spawning of materials, no use of /gamemode and no use of /tp for anyone (staff included!). We're also friendly to technical players, with a fabric based server that preserves vanilla mechanics. Plugins/Datapacks: - Ledger (fabric equivalent to coreprotect) for grief detection/rollback.
- No enderman grief.
- Double shulker shells.

Rules & guidelines:
I don't want the server to be a prescriptive environment with a long list of rules to follow, but we do have a few, so I'll just get this section out of the way:
No stealing or griefing.
No hacking or spamming.
No unsolicited PvP. (PvP is on, but this is not a PvP server).
These are pretty much the only bannable offenses. Everything else is a-okay, but I would ask that you exercise good judgement and not play in a way that negatively affects other players.
About me: I'm a casual Minecraft player. I've played for 10+ years. I'm not really that great with build or redstone or anything. But I'm good at look how things work and/or breaking things(Usually not on purpose). I am greatly experienced in both vanilla and modded (Both Fabric and Forge). I can be pretty quiet when meeting new people. But once I'm comfortable and I can simply chat on and on.
Play-style: I usually enjoy to just explore the World to find neat locations for building things. Not that I'm really all that great at building. But I usually just build underground for more space. Although I do sometimes consider my interior building better. Like decoration an such.
As for screenshots of other projects and builds.. I don't exactly have any screenshots of anything. Though if really needed I can get screenshots from a MC Roleplay I hosted a while back. The map was pre-made but I built upon the world. Adding additional terrain as well as buildings an such.
Playstyle: I enjoy creating auto/semi-auto farms out of anything I can...usually poorly. Not the best at building but I enjoy it, I usually rush to late game as fast as possible.

I am 47 yo and I played minecraft some years ago, ran my own small server. I decided to get back now. I preffer building oriented servers with no pvp, stealing and all those stuff kids do. I also enjoy doing community projects. Your server according to dectription fits my playstyle so I would like to join.
Reasons for joining: I haven't played MC in a few years, but a friend of mine recent acquired the game and wanted to see what it's about, so I was looking around for a good vanilla server to help her experience the game normally with a friend. Typically I'll play with my friends in our own village away from others, but wouldn't mind building in a server community if it's required. I'm more of an exterior-building person who isn't very good at redstone or interior decoration, but it looks pretty good outside at least.
Reasons for joining: I have never played Minecraft before. My gaming buddy, Damashki (see above post), invited me to play the game with him. He is currently looking for a good vanilla server for me to learn the basics on and have fun! As I have never played before, I'm not entirely sure where my skills lie yet, but I have been known to be pretty creative. Hello, I recently acquired access to java with my new PC. i have mainly played on bedrock and have felt left out of the server game. I have my own bedrock realm my friends and family play on but I want to expand my horizons on the side to keep things fresh. this will be the first server I have joined before, so I am definitely taking a step out of my comfort zone. I am excited to learn how it all works and at the same time, hope to contribute to the fun of a community. it sounds like you have a good thing going on based of the description. I do not claim to be an amazing builder, but I love collecting materials and building small farms. I am more than happy to share within reason if someone needs anything. I have been watching hermit craft and would love to be in a similar server where people are actively enjoying minecraft together and seeing what they are up to.

The server has migrated from paper to fabric, as fabric is more friendly to technical play.

thank you for the invitation! my in game name as Diesel520 was taken so i had to spell it D "L"esel instead of D "i " esel.
it looks like Dlesel520 but it is spelled DLesel520 i use a lower case L instead of an i.
maybe this will make more sense haha if I put caps lock on it looks like DLESEL520 take caps lock off and it looks like Dlesel520.
