How did you hear about The Sanctuary SMP community?: Searching via "Vanilla" servers on Minecraft Forums.
What is your favorite/preferred base/building style? Typically medieval style, sci-fi, fantasy, the occasional modern architecture style home. I've also built a couple of Spleef arena's. My bases usually aren't huge focusing more on aesthetics with functionality sometimes at the cost of efficiency. For instance, I'd rather build a town with separate buildings to serve the various functions you might find in a single large base. Some of my builds I'm very fond of and reuse them rebuilding them from scratch.
What aspect of vanilla gameplay draws you towards SMP? I like a consistent experience and excessive mods tend to make certain aspects of the game obsolete and unnecessary. When you keep it basic it allows the world to grow organically using the tools provided within the game. It makes larger scale projects like long distance transportation more rewarding as they serve a real purpose in the game.
Do you have any experience with Minecraft communities? Yes, I was the member of a community server for about 5 years and I'm still friends with many of those people I met today.
Outside of Minecraft, what kinds of activities/hobbies do you enjoy? Movies, board gaming, hobby painting, books, comics & TV.

Do you have any experience with Minecraft communities? Yes, I do. I've played in servers with hermitcraft style gameplay where the shops and trades are honour based. I love to play with other people and collaborate.
Oh, and I've applied on this server specifically because you people are starting a new season. So I would love to start with everyone else. I don't prefer to start when everyone is maxed out.

What is your favorite/preferred base/building style? I don't have a particular style Id say my favorite type of bases are Hobbit Style mountain bases or All in one redstone bases with farms and cool contraptions. I watch a lot of OG Minecrafters Mumbo, Etho, Docmm, and newer Minecrafters like Fwhip. I draw a lot of my style from each of them in ways.
What aspect of vanilla gameplay draws you towards SMP? I really enjoy the thrill of survival and the idea that its a living world. I like when I can draw off the creativity of other Minecrafters and create a story through building big projects or something simple like tackling a large cave or ravine.

I have owned servers in the past as well as moderated a few. I really enjoy the community and the friends I've made playing this game. Outside of Minecraft, what kinds of activities/hobbies do you enjoy? I love going climbing and it's not exactly a hobby but I am also a baker. I also like to snowboard but only can do that about once a year because of where I live.
