Vysage was founded by two lifelong friends. Tim and AJ.
Both of us have been playing since the early months of Minecraft. And
from that, we have gained general Minecraft experience but have taken
on quite a few large-scale server projects. Including large Minecraft
servers and reputable Minecraft hosting websites. As life has gone on
one thing has held true. Our passion for this game. I personally run
this server at a deficit as I’d rather have an inclusive place for
people rather than turn a quick dime.
Information About the Server
The server is hosted in Northern America on the Eastern coast. Providing a
solid connection to East Coast and Midwest players. However, the
server has been configured in a way to allow West Coast and EU players
to join without a noticeable connection lag. The server has plenty of
room to grow as more players join. The server is Fabric backed.
However, do not worry! You can still play with the normal Vanilla
client. Using Fabric for the server backend allows us to leverage
specific mods to provide a more optimized experience for all players.
All Fabric mods that are installed are there for performance reasons
and have no game-changing mechanics.
We will be launching the server on December 2nd at 10 AM EST.
At which point whitelist applications will stay open unless we have reached an acceptable number of applicants.
All server backups are done daily and are stored offsite to allow a rapid response if anything catastrophic happens.
Datapacks that are enabled:
Coordinates HUD – Provides a togglable coordinate hud above your hotbar.
Custom Nether Portals – Create custom shaped Nether portals
Double Shulker Shells – All shulkers drop 2 shells instead of one
Fast Leaf Decay – Get rid of those trees please.
More Mob Heads – Mob heads will drop from more than just hostile mobs
Multiplayer Sleep – When one player sleeps it will skip to day.
Player Head Drops – Player heads will uhhhhh drop? PVP is enabled but is not to be abused. This is a PVE server.
Silence Mobs – Name a mob to silence it
