I've been trying to set up my minecraft server for a few hours now and I don't really understand what exactly is going on. I have an old computer I am using to run it (not an office old one, just my old gaming laptop) and I can connect to the server using the same IPv4 address on both computers. Meaning there isn't anything wrong with the computer running it itself or the firewall or anything like that as far as I know. I believe that the problem lies in my port forward or just my networking in general. If anyone can help me troubleshoot this issue that would be great. Trying to get this running so I can start recording videos on it and have custom gamemodes for content without having to pay for a service.
