Ive been wondering, a couple of buddy's of mine have been hosting a minecraft server But over here the lag is awful. I was wondering if it would be possible if I put the server on my server over here, is there a plugin that would link the two servers so the same updates happen on both servers?
So what you mean is that they both share the RAM, the CPU, the hard drive?
That isn't very possible if your friend has bad internet since then the bottleneck would be the network, and then there would be not much of a difference, and I don't think there is any plugin to do that, let alone custom MC server jars.
No, I mean they only share the world maps and player locations, that way there would only be lag between the players but for 1 player the lag doesnt really seem that bad. We don't really pvp on our server so that shouldnt be too bad. If there isnt already a plugin, would there be a way that i could get some coders together to make it myself?
