WinterCrest is my all time favourite server by a long shot. I've only been on here since March 07, 2020, but the amazing community has honestly made it feel like it has been years of knowing each and every player. The community is just so genuinely amazing, I don't think I could ever find another server with a community even close to WinterCrest's, no matter how hard I tried. Everyone is super kind and when you need something, there is almost always someone willing to either help you achieve the item, give you it, or recommend you to some stores that have it. Speaking of the stores, they're all player owned!! I absolute LOVE any server that has player based shops! I find it amazing whenever players get to make their own shops, it's just really intriguing to me. Plus, they're fun to build! The WinterCrest staff team is also extremely helpful, kind, and love to joke! The server isn't pay to win, which is really what got me interested. Just from being active and friendly, I ranked up to Equitite, their their rank, and then I've made my way up! My friend recommended it, and I recommend it to everyone! It's trust based, and all grief is rolled back by staff. The discord is also a fun place! With many voice chats, text channels, etc, it is just absolutely amazing! I have honestly made so many amazing friends on this server, and I have no plans on letting any of the people on the server go. Not to mention the welcome train from many players! Love everything about the server!! <3

This is an AMAZING server. Very obvious that everyone is equal and not pay to play. Everyone on the server is extremely helpful! Also there are people from all over the world who play so you will always have company and help if need be.

I have played on wintercrest for about a month and 3 weeks and it has been the best time of my life. Everyone is so friendly and I don't have to worry about grief. It truly is an amazing survival sever and you even can get free stuff to start off with.

I’ve been on Wintercrest for over a year. What I like about Wintercrest is that there is no drama. It is a peaceful and chill server. I am a quiet person and most of the time, I choose not to chat. However, there are plenty of games and events that still keep me active in the community. Any time that I have a question, it is also usually quickly answered by other players. All of the staff are very friendly and eager to help. If you are looking for a positive, active, and friendly server, I’d recommend this one

Only one thing can be said about wintercrest and thats that its awesome. The rules are clearly stated and grief is handled very well. There are no claims but that helps everyone trust eachother. If anyone does grief its handled and can be rolled back by staff. There is also a deathchest when you die so your items dont go everywhere. Only you can open this deathchest. its really a great server to play on. I have only played for around 2 months and its my favorite ever minecraft server ive played on. come and join our wintercrest community

A quick review:

I've been on the server for a little over two months, and I adore every part of it! It's one of the only minecraft servers I've been on where people are actually nice to each other. The staff are well-picked: responsible, knowledgeable, and always happy to help. The plugins are also really nice. There's enough of them to be handy, but not enough to be confusing. Everyone on the discord is also great!

Overall, a wonderful server with a great community!

I figured I'd write another review as I have now been on the server for around 6 months.
To be honest, the way the community has grown is absolutely astonishing. We have teams people can join, new quests people can do, and we just got a balance wipe so everyone is fair! We have quests you can do to get money, along with a few minigames we're working to get up and running. Also, don't forget the events! We're making new events for people to join, but it also has allowed us to join in with the community and have more interaction with our players as well. This means all new players will finally be able to get up rapidly, instead of long-time, 7 year-long players! We also are even having an end reset soon, and a new summer event with pirates for the theme! We're hoping to get more people online to participate and give us feedback in these events so we know what our future players may enjoy!
Staff also works to keep the community safe. We enjoy speaking to new people and teaching them our rules. Don't be afraid to join and try the server out!
10/10 would join again

Winercrest is easily the best server I've ever played. It has great staff and great players in general. You don't have to worry about grief and you can just have fun and play for hours until the world it self shall end. I'm joking but it feels that way. Its a really great place to be and i love playing for hours it truly is an amazing place to always be.

I've been on Wintercrest for just over a year now. I normally don't stick on servers very long and don't interact with other players much. But, here just had something that other servers didn't: a community.

If you are looking for a chill, laid back survival world where people are friendly, staff treats everyone with respect, and can just have fun playing Minecraft, here is the place for you. If you get griefed, staff can roll it back; chests, doors, and a number of other items can or auto lock so it can only be used by you (or a friend, should you so choose); you can donate to get permanent perks, but all perks can be gotten in temporary potions that can be bought with in game money. That makes it so it's not pay-to-win, which is neat.

Legitimately, you should at least check this server out. I would very easily refer to the Wintercrest community as home.

Best server ever 20/10

I've been putting off this review to try and gather my thoughts about how much this server means to me. I don't just play on this server because of the no-grief style, or the no pay-to-win attitude, or anything else that is specific to a minecraft server. I play here because of the people, the community, and the friends I have made. WinterCrest is like a second home to me. Even when I don't feel like playing I'll get on just to talk to people. Don't get me wrong, the game experience is amazing, but I feel what really makes this server special is the people you will meet along the way. If you want a place to truly feel welcome, and slowly recognise players and build friendships, this is the place for you. It's great for me that the server is hosted in the UK, but even if it wasn't, I would still want to choose this server as the one I have called home for the last few months. Whether you have never played minecraft before, or you are a long time player, this server will feel like you should have always been here from the start. VIVA LA WINTERCREST.

I've only been on this server for about two weeks but my experience so far has been nothing but great.

The community is friendly and welcoming, staff are active and helpful, rules are fair and enforced, lag is non-existent 99.99% of the time, plugins are useful, events have been regular and entertaining, donation perks aren't broken or pay to win like and regular voting is rewarded in a balanced manner.

10/10 experience so far and i'll definitely continue to play here for some time, its easy to see how they have continued for 7 years!
