Hey, I've noticed that a lot of Minecraft servers have the same script. Protected, boring, threatless worlds. Worlds where the actions of the players simply don't matter. I aim to change that. If we want creativity in minecraft, we need to think creatively. I envision a world where players are washed up onto the shore of a massive island and/or continent. From there they are able to choose a race and customize their appearance. A world where many of the minecraft mechanics that we've used for years are replaced using a custom-made modpack. From there, the players can form their own nations, jobs, destinies in a medieval-based world, all while the threat of vicious beasts and the mystery of an ancient civilization follow them. When a player creates a house, it's not immediately safe from destruction. With many resources, players can reinforce blocks, causing them to require up to 30 breaks per block to fully break.
This gives players the incentive to join a nation. To wage war. To fight for survival. A delicately crafted map includes resource deposits in remote locations, stimulating trade and eventual battles. A lore that players can choose to uncover if they would like. Rare artifacts that can grant single players amazing abilities, greatly stirring up the power structure in the server. The mods in this server will allow for character creation, revamped potion-brewing, new mobs and creatures, and more. In this world, there would be no limits. Anyone could do or be anything. I sadly lack much of the knowledge required, but would anyone be up to join this with me? To create this world?
