I've got a modded server running with version 1.12.2 -- I've done everything properly until this point. First, I noticed two things -- I didn't like the world that the server generated for me, and there were no BoP biomes generated. So to remedy that, I generated a single-player map with the mod (no problems there), deleted the server's original world folder, and replaced it with this world I generated. I even tried using the seed from that world too (I plugged it into the server.properties file next to level-seed=). Also, I changed level-type and generator-settings to BIOMESOP. That didn't work so well. What happened was it had the one BoP biome I spawned in when I created the single-player map, and it generated abrupt, straight, borders between that and the other vanilla biomes it generated. I deleted that world file and tried to just let the server regenerate a new world with the settings. That didn't work, it just like brought back the old world file that I just deleted and it just keeps making a Frankenstein-like world based off the old single-player map that I plugged into the server. It's quite irritating and there's nothing anywhere like this that I could find.
I launched the server with the minecraft_server.1.12.2.jar -- which works fine except for the weird Frankenstein world generating -- and I tried the forge universal.jar which doesn't even get as far as to prepare the spawn area.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can post the server properties if needed or anything else of that nature (startup log, other log stuff, etc.).
