After a year or so of hiatus, our Minecraft community is back with our newest server and concept, Procraftination 4. Our group has been around for a few years now and we always have a good time. This time around we would like to invite everyone to our white listed server.
So What is this Server?
Procraftinations 4 is a new towny-based server on a replicated map of Earth; where conflict, mutual agreements and treaties all have meaning to them as encouraged by a few house rules. Players can create a nation inspired by history through a brief application process, and from there how they act is up to them. War is a feature, but how significant it is to game play depends on the actions of the players. As a community, you shape the global atmosphere!
The map we are using is 1:1000 scale, with realistic terrain and mineral/ore deposit locations. It will be very interesting to see how players work with realistic geography. We are encouraging realistic nations, allowing colonies, practically whatever you'd like to do. For the most part, game play is dictated by the players. If one nation gets out of hand, perhaps others will police them.
The nature of the concept/project means that we’re heavily invested in maintaining a mature player base, so the server is white listed and people who would like to join have to be accepted individually. We are looking mainly for players that are 16+!
This standard applies especially to staff, most of whom have all seen the our community through several iterations (all with differing server concepts over the years), and their number one concern is maintaining a fair and fun field of play for everyone.

Why do you want to join: I am extremely interested in the idea of recreating past & present nations into the server. I have played and even hosted similar servers with countries and a dynamic diplomatic system. The fact that you have recreated the real world, brings this to a whole other level. Another reason is being an avid player of games such as Europa Universalis and Civilization, as well as a history nerd.
What do you plan on accomplishing on this world? I would firstly assess the geo-political situation of the world before really setting a concrete plan for myself. However, I will say that I wish to bring nations that historically may not have been powerful, into the status of a superpower.

Why do you want to join: I want to be apart of a Minecraft Civilization Server. I've been searching for an active, well built, and organized server, so far this has been the only one. I love the ideas of civilizations and realistic ones at that! I saw the map and the terrain and it's beautiful. I'd love to be apart of this community and potential make my own country/nation.
What do you plan on accomplishing: Well, for starters, I just want to fit into the community. I want to be apart of something big. I also checked out the discord, but no admins or moderators were on, so I kinda chickened out (sorry about that). As I stated before I'd like to potentially make a nation or a country, but if that doesn't go as planned I'd like to assist someone to the best of my ability to do so. I haven't seen many World Map servers here, so whenever one pops up, it's definitely piqued my interest. And with this one being more mature than the other world map servers makes it even better. I'm sick of all the Harambe and Knuckles nations in towny [insert eye roll here.][/b]
What do you plan on accomplishing on this world?: Establishing a large nation on a World Map has always been a dream of mine, not going to lie. I love to worldbuild so I hope to create my own style of nation (Although I wouldn't mind roleplaying a historical nation if need be!) Expect castles and world wonders in time as I'm a builder at heart. I'll probably decide on being a mercantile or military nation upon seeing the geo-political scene of the world, so my mind isn't set in stone about that yet.[/b]

Firstly a nice community, where we have our own town hall, like in the old Italian republics, an economy with different kinds of jobs, a strong military, lastly a religion that aims to unite the whole world.

I have been playing Minecraft for quite a while and just randomly stumbled upon this... it seems like an extremely interesting concept that I'd like to see and participate in. Since I've had good experiences with Minecraft Communities and yours seems friendly, it seems like it will be a very fun ride!

Like most people probably do: I want to find the place I actually live at in the real world and start from there to see where things will go - It would be amazing to find other people from around my area do the same and meet some potential new friends on the way!
