Tell us a bit about yourself: My name is Flightless, I'm currently a Business Management major in my second year of college in Bellingham, Washington. I say "currently" because I'm considering swapping into a Pre-Law program, which would likely be accompanied by a change in colleges. I was born and raised in Montana, and have been playing video games since I was 2 (seriously -- I used to crawl onto the desk to play). I would consider myself more of a "variety gamer", as I really enjoy a whole host of different games, such as Darkest Dungeon, Dark Souls 3, Overwatch, Hearthstone, and of course, Minecraft. I've been playing Minecraft consistently since around the release of 1.3, and really enjoy building unique bases and interacting with other players. Some of my other hobbies include cooking, football, poker, politics / philosophy, and satirical writing.
How active will you be?: Fairly active (20+ active hours a week + a bunch of hours AFK). My class schedule is pretty light, so I've been able to pick up a bunch of hobbies (reading for leisure, working out, and watching movies) without effecting my grades and yet I still somehow have ample free-time everyday.
Have you ever been banned from a private server?: No.
What do you think you can bring to the server? I really enjoy being a "Grian-esque" player on multiplayer servers, usually resulting in a bunch of light-hearted Tom Foolery, aesthetic builds, and some seriously questionable redstone that still somehow functions. Generally, once I get into the swing of things, I'm pretty community focused, and would create shops, as well as in-game community events.

As I got older and Minecraft became "not cool" (meaning my friends didn't have an interest in playing anymore) I played on a much more touch and go basis. For me the most important thing about Minecraft is having people to talk to and work with to create a community on a server. Without my friends playing the game I had a difficult time enjoying the game in the way I used to. I've tried to become more heavily involved in server communities in the past but have not found a community that I've fit well with. Minecraft is obviously enjoying a resurgence and I'm interested to experience that with a tight knit community. On the personal side of things, I am a college student who studies Chinese language and gets drunk from time to time. I enjoy Literature (especially Victorian authors), History, and of course foreign language. I have a cat as well.
How active will you be?: I'm currently on Medical Leave from University for the rest of the semester, so I have a significant amount of time that I could invest. That being said, I don't want to overestimate the amount of time I can put in and still pay attention to my health, so I'd estimate at least 5-8 hours a week.

What do you think you can bring to the server? As I mentioned, Minecraft for me is more about community than anything. As such, what I wish to bring to the server focuses on being a member of a community. That being said, I do enjoy cooperating to create group activities/builds in game. I like experimenting with unique architectural styles in game.

Tell us a bit about yourself: I grew up playing Minecraft with my brothers and used to play it religiously when I was in my early teens. As I got older and Minecraft became "not cool" (meaning my friends didn't have an interest in playing anymore) I played on a much more touch and go basis. For me the most important thing about Minecraft is having people to talk to and work with to create a community on a server. Without my friends playing the game I had a difficult time enjoying the game in the way I used to. I've tried to become more heavily involved in server communities in the past but have not found a community that I've fit well with. Minecraft is obviously enjoying a resurgence and I'm interested to experience that with a tight knit community. On the personal side of things, I am a college student who studies Chinese language and gets drunk from time to time. I enjoy Literature (especially Victorian authors), History, and of course foreign language. I have a cat as well.
How active will you be?: I'm currently on Medical Leave from University for the rest of the semester, so I have a significant amount of time that I could invest. That being said, I don't want to overestimate the amount of time I can put in and still pay attention to my health, so I'd estimate at least 5-8 hours a week.
Have you ever been banned from a private server?: I have not been banned previously.
What do you think you can bring to the server? As I mentioned, Minecraft for me is more about community than anything. As such, what I wish to bring to the server focuses on being a member of a community. I want to help in creating an environment in which everyone can feel comfortable being themselves and decompress after a long day over a game we all love. That being said, I do enjoy cooperating to create group activities/builds in game. I like experimenting with unique architectural styles in game.
Any other questions or comments?: I appreciate the opportunity to apply to this community; based upon what I can see it looks as though it is tightly knit and a community I'd be interested in. That being said, I understand if you judge me not to be fit as you would know better than I the type of player that would thrive on this server.
Show us some of your past builds or contraptions (images/videos) (Optional): As I have said, I haven't been playing Minecraft frequently for awhile now. Unfortunately, I do not have photos of my past builds as the files/servers that have had them have been lost or closed.

What do you think you can bring to the server? I can bring a Fun / outgoing / bit exentric personality with a decent building (only have troubles with roofs, damm them!!!) i dot like redstone builds (especially 3x3 or othert type doors). I am back to Minecraft, Its been a while i havent really played.
