Hello and welcome to OrionSMP! We are a community that plays MORE than just Minecraft. Crazy right? We play games such as CS:GO, Brawlhalla, Borderlands 2, Town of Salem, Stardew Valley and many more. We are more of a clan/community rather than just a Minecraft server. Now, we don't want you to feel left out, and we'd love to invite you to participate in anything that we're doing when you join. Most of our members are 16+, so we are looking for members that can act mature in an adult server.
The server has been around for 4 years now and we have done everything from normal vanilla to modded and most in between. We decided to go with an RPG SMP server because it will give people more incentive to stay playing more than a few months.
We have a world Border on the overworld of 1000 blocks each way. The border expands every week depending on how many people come to the weekly events.
We have a class system on the server to add a nice feature to the server.
We will be having dungeons that anyone can access anytime during the week for chances at items to help you advance.
We have custom mobs with higher spawns and stronger then just vanilla mobs so the server is supposed to be a more hardcore server.

Our community uses a Council system. The goal of the council is to keep in good standing with the gaming community and maintain the server. The Council is also in charge of watching over all of our members, keeping them in line, and making sure bad decisions are avoided, that could harm the community.

Requirements
1. 16+ (Exceptions will be made for mature people).
2. Must be as active as possible (In real life comes before games).
3. Must be willing to do a interview (Helps me get to know people).

1. No griefing.

7. Do not go overboard with talking about religion or politics.
8. Do not mess with another players (if you read the application post your favorite color at the end of the application) build (Pranks are fine, you must clean up the prank afterwards). 9. Building at spawn is only allowed with the proper permission.
10. No Hacks/mods (Optifine/mini map is fine, talk to me if you're unsure).
11. PVP is only allowed if both people agree to fight.
12. Don't advertise other servers, or Youtube channels that are based on other servers.

Before my break, SMP's were my favorite part of the game but I lost hope after every server I joined shut down for some reason or another. Tell me a little bit about yourself: I'm finishing up my freshman year in highschool and I'm really looking forward to the break. After about a month and a half marching band starts up which I am also extremely ready for. After just one year of marching band I'm in love with it. Outside of school I enjoy video games and reading. I typically play Rocket League, Shellshock Live, COD, and the occasional PUBG. Why do you want to join this server?: It looks very cool and interesting. I love survival Minecraft, but often find that it gets boring and I want more of a challenge and more cool stuff thrown in it. The silk-sawners and new mobs are especially interesting to me.

Why do you want to join this server?: I just got back from a year long break in Minecraft and I'm looking for an SMP to get back into it. Before my break, SMP's were my favorite part of the game but I lost hope after every server I joined shut down for some reason or another.
Tell me a little bit about yourself: I'm finishing up my freshman year in highschool and I'm really looking forward to the break. After about a month and a half marching band starts up which I am also extremely ready for. After just one year of marching band I'm in love with it. Outside of school I enjoy video games and reading. I typically play Rocket League, Shellshock Live, COD, and the occasional PUBG. For reading, my all time favorite book is The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. If you enjoy humorous books, I would definitely reccomend it.
