Completely New 'Newbie' Spawn
We love our spawn; it's homey and full of information. However, it can sometimes be a little too overwhelming for new players. We've now created a 'newbie' spawn for brand new players to begin in. This spawn is very simple and direct, still full of all the same helpful information, but just much more compacted and categorised. We hope this will help in player-retainment and help to explain what our server is about right from the beginning.
Elevators
Added an easy to use and relatively cheap to make elevator system. You just need two (or more) redstone blocks, and a floor block. The redstone powers the elevator, and goes below your floor blocks. Copy the same pattern of redstone block + floor block directly above your first floor elevator, and hit Space to go up a floor, and hit Shift to go down a floor! Elevators are available for all players and all ranks.
Extreme Grass Growing
We've made an automated arena for our favourite game -- Extreme Grass Growing! Bet on which block will turn to grass last and you win first place! Ask in-game about Game Wager tickers to get into the game!
Grinder Update
We've rewritten the way the Grinder takes your items. Instead of a one-click system, we've made it so you can choose exactly what type of item you want to grind. This not only makes it a little simpler, but also helps you to avoid accidentally scrapping an item you wanted to keep!
Bug Fixes
Lots and lots of bug fixes! We think we finally have a handle on the mob-spawning issues, and they seem to be behaving properly. Several NPCs that were also misbehaving have been scolded and fixed up.

The newbie spawn is actually super helpful. It has a bunch of tutorials on how to do things in the server. This was especially good for me because I was really confused when I first joined, but the staff are almost always on to help with questions. MORE FISH COMPETITIONS!
Even if you hate the holiday, we've put together some fun stuff for you guys to enjoy from now until Sunday, the 18th. In Spawn, you can find a new house with a treasure chest full of limited vday goodies.
Additionally, we have a limited title that you can ONLY acquire between today and Sunday! The title must be purchased with "Elegant Roses" which are a mob drop throughout the VDay festivities. You can find the title NPC next to the chest of goodies in spawn!
Included in this week's update we have new crates, spawn layout has changed, a grinder update, and lots more!
Spawn Layout Improvements
We have improved the location of certain things at spawn! Now youβll find the Mage a bit closer to spawn, where the crates used to be. With that, the Crates are now where Lurog was, moving Lurog down the path not too far before The Pawnd. Also look for 10 titles hidden around spawn..! We've also added the "Hidden Valley Ranch" for passive mobs located on the right side of spawn!
Grinder and Reaper
The Grinder now requires XP to grind down items as well as grinding things are now item specific. You can now choose what sort of item in your inventory you want to grind! The Reaper (located next to the Wizard) has been added to change your Vibrant Spirits into the next tier, and upon reaching Legendary you can sell them now.
Crate Update and Daily Bonuses
As well as crates finding a new home at spawn, 2 new crates have been added. βTitle Crateβ and βBonus Crateβ. Weβve also implemented a 7day Daily Login reward system, which on the 7th day you receive a key for the βBonus Crateβ

Finally fixed a couple of bugs with Towny, there were issues with adding residents as well as teleporting to a town's spawn. That's finally fixed up and shouldn't happen again.
W E F I X E D M O B S P A W N S
Something that has been taunting us for weeks now, FINALLY got squashed. Your livestock should in theory NOT despawn any longer. In the event they still do, or you're having trouble finding mobs, let a staff member know. We also still have out Hidden Valley mob Ranch in spawn, for you to slaughter everything to your liking.
This week we are in the works of renovationg spawn, we've finally fixed that passive mob spawning issue, and are introducing a new team.
Spawn Renovations
So we have decided to take spawn and just give it a complete overhaul. Don't worry though, it's maintaing the same layout and a few of the same buildings, but we are adding new ones as well as changing locations of some old ones. With help from our new Content Team, expect it sometime next week. With that, learn about our new team below!
Content Team
New to Tempus Staff comes a team dedicated to building and focusing on content creation such as dungeons, items, minigames, ect. With this team we will be able to accomplish bringing you guys new and cool stuff each week/month. Content members are focused on creation, but do hold staff head as well, which means if a member kindly asks you to refrain from doing something, please do so. Still remain to look to Helpers, Mods, and Admins for inital play help. IF you are interested in joining shoot us an aplication!
PlayerShops
Replacing AuctionHouse, we bring you player shops! This can be accessed by doing /ps in-game. Players can buy a featured spot and extra slots.

We have finished our overhaul on spawn now! The layout is similar but now feature new buildings and new locations for certain things! Give it a run around if you haven't already.
Dungeons Progress
Our Content Team has been working around the clock on various dungeons that we will expect to be done soon! So keep a lookout in the next few days/weeks for them!

Currently we have 1 dungeon that's 95% done, we're just working on mob spawning issues (What else is new) and 2 other dungeons not too far behind. Expect them next week, but if they are still delayed, don't shoot me in the head.
Tutorial Area
Once again we have updated spawn with a new and improved tutorial area. It utilizes books for information and keeps things looking a little less messy and clumped up. Check it out if you'd like!
Spirits
Added additional vibrant spirit types, all spirit tiers are now worth money and follow the same pricing structure as tiered fish. All spirits can be sold to the Reaper in the tower at spawn. The Animal Tamer has been updated to accept cash for pets, cash value was calculated using a rough estimate based on the previous spirit cost per pet. The mask salesman will follow the same calculations. Note, any mob that can come from a mob spawner no longer drops spirits of any kind(edited)

St Patty's Day
To celebrate the day we've launched a weekend long event featuring a parkour course with collectible Shamrocks along the way to exchange for a title at spawn! The course can be accessed at the Holiday House.

PVP Changes
There's now a PvP zone added to spawn. We're going through some fundamental changes to the way PvP works on our server, and regardless of what direction we choose to take it in, the PvP zone can be used by anyone to duel your friends! You can access that by going through spawn, or by accessing it through /warps.
Infernal Mobs
In addition to PvP changes, we've made some changes to PvE. There are some rare mobs wandering in the wild known as Infernal Mobs. These mobs are levelled and can be difficult to fight, but will drop some pretty neat items to make it worth it!
Auctions
We've added another auction option for you to sell your items. This will not replace player shops, but instead you can offer items you feel wouldn't do well sitting in a shop. To open your auction GUI, type /auc
