Join us tonight @ 7pm CST for Atlas’ second major Roleplaying Event, The Yukrovian Summit! Witness the next chapter of the Atlas story, and take part in a vote that will not only decide the server’s next major RP event, but the future of Atlas forever!
The event will be organized into 2 parts:
1) The summit of the NPC Nations
2) Opening the floor for Player Nations to discuss and debate their politics
We suggest you head to Yukrovia a little in advance of the summit (or request a TP from an elder), to meet the other attendees and claim your spot in the summit hall. No need for weapons this time around, as you will not need to fight or defend yourselves during the event (physically, anyway.) So join us tonight, and let your voice be heard - every vote counts!
Don't forget that our next RP Event, the Yukrovian Summit, will be beginning in about 30 minutes! Make your way to Yukrovia either by fast travel, or ask an Elder for a free teleport! Hope to see you all there o/
A Doozy of an update (Part 2)
Sorry or the delay on this one. You'll notice that all these updates are already live! Also, just as a reminder join us on the server at 7pm CST for our next big RP event! We'll be unveiling some of the new update stuff there!
New Player Stuff
- New player will finally get the correct default perms when joining!
- New players are considered new players for a week after joining the server
- New players will keep their inventory on death when not killed by players
- New players will receive a teleportation scroll on joining their first nation. This will teleport them to a town in their new nation.
- When you recruit a new player and keep them playing for three days your nation will receive a 100gem reward.
Command Changes
- /find has been optimized and now also lists first join time. You can't see possible alts of offline players anymore
- /help command has been updated after over a year of no updates
- /the purgatory command won't tell you to gather yourself in cobble anymore.
- Staff have access to the /deathreclaim command to help out players who lose their stuff from bugs.
Furniture
- We've begun the testing of furniture!
- Come to the server event tonight to see it in action and possible pick up some cool stuff!
Misc Changes
- Over 35 new server tips!
- Events have been removed for now.
- Fixed the wheel rewards duplication bug! (this does not mean the wheel works perfectly though)
- Server restart time is now 4 hours earlier. This way admins can be awake and able to fix any bugs caused by restarts + new plugins.
- Complete backend core plugin re-write. (sorry for the delay)
This was a massive update so its possible all these bugs fixes may have causes a bug or two. We've done our best to bug test ourselves a huge amount and fix all obvious bugs. Thanks for y'all patience, and with this update we'll begin looking towards adding mroe new content now that we've fixed a lot of old bugs.
Quests:
(If you have already encountered any of the following bugs in-game, they may need to be manually fixed for you by an admin):
- “Rodrick’s Cave” - The Arkayo Cultist mob has been nerfed, and the lava has been removed from the cave. Journal has been updated to include a difficulty warning.
- “Traitor of Kimara” - The lava pit in Kimara Cave has been replaced with an escapable water pit. Journal has been updated to include a difficulty warning.
- “Stirrings in Telaria” - NPCs should now display the correct dialogue when completing this quest.
- “Fishmonger: Freshwater Pike” - Journal updated to reflect the correct NPC to turn quest items into (Patches).
- “Apprentice Smuggler” - Smuggler’s Crate removed as a quest reward.
- “Gathering Reagents” - Magic trainees may now complete this quest with any hide, not just rabbit hide.
- “Sunken Treasure” - Alexi’s Note now reflects the exact coordinates of the shipwreck.
- “Vantian Raiders” - Should no longer receive duplicate journal entries.
MythicMobs:
- Nameplates should now always be visible above MythicMobs.
NPC Towns:
- Nauru now has a Banker.
- Boats should now be breakable in Nauru.
- Mobs should no longer spawn anywhere close to Telaria’s walls.
Shops:
- Ghast Tears are now purchasable from Bertram’s Rare Materials in Nauru.
Pets Clarification:
- If you want to claim a horse, you must be the one to tame it.

Dungeons Update
- Drakonfell Prison dungeon should no longer allow you to break blocks inside the dungeon.
