I'm a regular. I play Minecraft all the time. I usually go large, but I love to organically grow my builds. Let's be honest though. I could do this on single player. I want to join a server for the community aspect of it all. I'm a project manager in real life and I get joy out of accomplishing things as a team. It is fun and exciting to see other players builds because I believe that is how you grow your MC skills in design or redstone. I was a part of several small servers that started strong and eventually died and I miss that friendship/engagement with other MC players.
I'm 34...beyond the typical age of a MC player and I just like to shut my brain off from life and play. Would you help contribute to my desire for "brain deadness"? I hope. If not, no hard feelings and I wish this group well. No matter what, I'll still play!
I haven't been able to play Minecraft with friends for a while due to the fact that we haven't been able to find a server that is truly enjoyable for us. Most public servers are overrun and over-populated. To find a server with an 18+ age limit is also very exciting because of higher maturity.
As an adult with a job, bills, responsibilities and other such nonsense, as well as having a wife and kids, it's sometimes difficult for me to participate in online gaming and be of any help to the other players. It's been easier with the growing community of Minecrafters who share my lifestyle and want to create an alternative online experience that centers around community and creativity without the requirement to be online and playing all the time. I've been a part of several servers in the past, which have all either moved on or become inactive. I'm looking to join up with Stonewick to begin anew in a new place with new people to collaborate and have fun with.
I have searched for a long time to find an "adult" server that has a core value of communty and helping, Stonewick looks like one.
I have been with Minecraft for nearly 8 years and have made many friends worldwide. For the looks of your server description I think I could make even more friends so I would like to join you please.

I've been wanting to play minecraft again but wanted to find a server that was organized and have set rules. My friend recommended this server and said it was a great one to join for what I wanted. Other servers I would play in would have trolls that just made the game not enjoyable. I really want to be able to relax and enjoy the game with a community. I want to join Stonewick because I am looking for an active group of older players to build and adventure with. I used to love playing on super modded servers but realized that what brought me to Minecraft in the beginning was the simplicity of it. I want a server where people aren't afraid to talk to one another or build and act civilly.
My favourite part about joining such a positive, mature and professional server- is meeting friendly new people and join in on one of my favourite video games. One particular detail I have read into carefully is the Redstone rules. I tend to be fairly ambitious with my redstone projects, however the guidelines in place are understandable and fair, and should surely ensure that some of the mechanics used in redstone creations do not intrude, and are as non-invasive as possible. Building and particularly collaborating are also things I love to do on smp servers, and hopefully there are plenty of like-minded people ready to meet and interact with. Overall, Stonewick sounds like a very exciting opportunity for me, and I can't wait to potentially become a part of it!
Community is what matters most to me. I do enjoy building and playing the game in general, but single player is too isolated. Being able to share the experience with others is what keeps me playing this game. Even if I just have a simple plot of farmland, having people around that I care about makes it an incredible and amiable time. Besides community, the rules and structure are the icing on this server 'cake'.

Recently, I've felt the inexplicable urge that eventually comes to all college students, a yearn for the games of my youth. Specifically, as you may guess, Minecraft. This was caused, in no small part, by the joining of the Stonewick server by my friends (igns included in application). These are people that I've played Minecraft, Terraria and plenty of other games with for years, and they've spoken glowingly of the server. With their recommendation in mind, I'd like to flex my creativity and see what this wonderful community truly has to offer.
I've got the Minecraft itch once again I saw Stonewick's advert on Reddit and it sounded great, especially the mature community aspect. I find MC to be most enjoyable when in the presence of others (friendly, helpful, and humorous others). The plugins, features, and key aspects of this server looked very appealing, and I'd love the opportunity to be a part of it. In regard to MC and gaming, I have a busy life... I look to MC as a way to unwind and escape for a while.

However, the servers themselves never stayed around to long... I would always find myself alone in-game, or waiting for someone to speak up in chat.
When I came across Stonewick, I was quite thrilled! I have been looking for a solid gaming/Minecraft community for ages, and today I believe I found one. When I first saw the website, I was amazed at the level of professionalism and dedication put into everything. That is something I love, and it an aspect I search for in anything I am doing. I don't want bland, unprofessional, I want uniqueness, and fun. I believe Stonewick holds such traits.
Overall, I want to join Stonewick because I want my love for survival Minecraft/gaming to thrive inside a healthy, fun, exciting community that enjoys the company of others. I see Stonewick in this exact manner, and I feel I would fit right in with such a high level group. I hope you think so too!

I was pretty much sold when it mentioned white listed and mature.
The weekly events sounded interesting, and I have played this game on and off since Alpha and never really beat the enderdragon (when he was finally released)
I would just love some other adults to play with because so far I've only been able to play with mostly teenagers and younger!
I heard about Stonewick from a friend, and I want to join it because I am looking for a good community to play minecraft on. Personally I'd like to join Stonewick because I've never really experienced Minecraft on PC, and this sounds like a great group to play with. I played console for years, and finally got around to getting a gaming PC. Some of my best memories in gaming have been with other people, but unfortunately I haven't relived those days since Halo 3 on the Xbox 360. Finding a group of people like me to play one of my favorite games sounds like a dream come true.

I've primarily played in single player, occasionally with family over LAN, or with my kids on minigame servers when they were into them. I don't really like the big servers though, they are too impersonal. I'd like more social interaction and to contribute to a team build in addition to my own stuff. I also like building redstone contraptions (neat and tidy ones) that are useful to the other players (obviously following server policies). But every multiplayer server or realm that I have joined has been abandoned after just a few months.
So I'm looking for a nice vanilla server, small but not too small, with experienced players that play frequently. I feel confident that if the admins have grown this server to 50+ players and they go to the trouble of having a website and a wiki, they are committed and the server and community will stick around long term. I am not used to plugins, since the servers I played on before were very small and very casual, but I learn quickly. I have used mods before but I keep coming back to vanilla because recent updates offer plenty to explore and do. I still haven't done it all! (I will find a polar bear eventually...)
The small town theme and community events sound lovely and fun and the policies sound fair and balanced. Also, the screenshots are super pretty. I believe I'll be a good fit and I have a lot to contribute.
