Why do you prefer playing in a small community?: I like to know the people I play with, like this I can get to know them well.
What is your favourite aspect of playing on a server with a vanilla-like gameplay?: Just really into vanilla overall, want to get back into MC after a long stop since MC 1.8.
Tell us something about yourself: 18 years old, from the Netherlands and over all a happy person.
What is your specialty in minecraft?: I used to be into redstone but that whas a good while ago, now that I started playing again I just wana build alot of stuff, alot of big stuff!
Why should we accept you?: Because I really want to join a server where I can build and socialise with other MC players that like playing.
Thanks!
I'll give you a chance, accepted and welcome to the server :). The ip is libercraft.net and hope to see you soon
Playing in a small community makes the game so much more personal. You log on everyday and know who you are playing with, you get to work on projects together, and you get to know each other more than you ever could on a large server. Smaller communities really take the experience to a whole new level and make it so much more enjoyable.
What is your favourite aspect of playing on a server with a vanilla-like gameplay?:
I honestly prefer the vanilla experience over any others. Vanilla, in it's own way, is complicated, but in a way, it's relaxing. It's a perfect balance and is easily my favorite way to play the game.
Tell us something about yourself:
I've been playing Minecraft going on 5 years now and have never stopped enjoying it. I'm a very dedicated person with just about everything, wether it be my school career or finishing a project. I'm an honor roll student aswell. Some of my favorite games include Minecraft, Halo, Assassins Creed, and the Total War series. My favorite book/series would have to be the Hunger Games triology.
What is your specialty in minecraft?:
I really like building; especially long-term projects. I also enjoy exploring the world and taking notes of the terrain and features. Automating anything and everything is also something I am fairly good at.
Why should we accept you?:
I explored the server with the online map and got a pretty good feel of the layout and such. I also watched the activity of the server and was amazed. The server had 10+ people on for multiple consecutive hours. This SMP looks truly magnificent and is something I would love to be a part of and share with others. I feel like my personality and dedication would be right at home. I've been looking for a good SMP, but not just that, also a good community, and it seems like I have found what I have been looking for.
Really nice application, you're accepted and we're glad to have you :). The ip is libercraft.net and if you have any questions, just ask

Congrats to RoseDragonx for winning the connect 4 tournament this past weekend! He ended up defeating me, thingies, and valtterj to get the crown. We have some other non-pvp events coming up such as Trivia, Battleship, and much more so come and join us for the fun!
Why do you prefer playing in a small community?: I feel like smaller servers foster closer communities. I've played on large and small servers before and I've found the smaller servers had closer, more sociable communities. I'm a raging introvert but I have to admit I've had some of my best Minecraft experiences playing with close-knit communities. We care what one another's doing, we help out, we hang out, and that's really the whole point playing Minecraft online.
What is your favourite aspect of playing on a server with a vanilla-like gameplay?: Simply put: It's actually Minecraft. I like the creativity and survival challenge of the original game. I don't need all the extra doodads; It's all about the challenge of figuring out how to build something awesome with what the game gives you.
Tell us something about yourself: I've played Minecraft since Beta 1.3. I've played with friends on private servers running Super Hostile maps, dabbled in hosting public servers (but not all that much), and played on several public servers big and small. I usually like listening to music when I play but I do have a microphone and can hop on TeamSpeak if need be. I'm 29 and work full time in the afternoons and evenings, though I may be getting a new job sometime in the near future that might change my work schedule.
What is your specialty in minecraft?: I love building castles. I want to try to make a kind of spooky castle obstacle course sometime. I'm also working on perfecting my redstone combination lock. I like making cannons to. I feel like no one does cannons anymore!
Why should we accept you?: I'm a chill, mature guy, a decent builder. I like contributing to community projects and I hope I just might be able to wow you with what I can dream up!

Nice app, accepted and welcome to the server :). The ip is libercraft.net and we're glad to have you!
I have always enjoyed small groups of this sort. I think I can mesh well with the small group atmosphere and have some fun with you all. (Also it is of note that I am friends with HyperSlayer1514 and would like to spend time on the server playing with him, from what I hear it's a blast!)
What is your favourite aspect of playing on a server with a vanilla-like gameplay?:
Vanilla is a very serene way to play, peaceful to play on. Challenging but not overly taxing.
Tell us something about yourself:
My life offline consists of playing basketball and watching sports mostly. I love watching hockey, basketball, football and NASCAR, and have always had a personal dream of being a NASCAR driver. I like to play Competitive Minecraft (despite that being less of an interest nowadays) and racing games and will soon play iRacing. I am a high school sophomore and am a good student, taking Senior level math (Pre - Calc) and advanced classes (except for English, clearly enough haha).
What is your specialty in minecraft?:
Well currently PvP gamemodes (OCN, PotPvP, and UHC) but I'd love for that to change. I've always liked building and landscaping when I've played SMPs and singleplayer in the past. Making builds that use vegetation and natural elements is very enjoyable.
Why should we accept you?:
I want to play because after playing a lot of UHC, my poor little brain needs to relax (it's a lot of stress believe me haha) but SMPs always have interested me since watching Mindcrack many years back and this one seems perfect, I looked at the map layout and it's stunning. My want to play some relaxed Minecraft will keep me hooked.

Glad to have one of Hyperslayer's friends join. Accepted and welcome to the server :). The ip is libercraft.net, hope to see you on soon
I have always played minecraft on smp servers. The game feels more fun and enjoyable when I'm around other people. But the problem with larger servers is that it is too difficult to establish relationships with everyone, as they're all off doing their own things or unreachable due to the large player cap.
What is your favorite aspect of playing on a server with a vanilla-like gameplay?:
The detail that comes from it. I love modded minecraft, and servers with custom plugins and tools, but there's no time to sit back and enjoy the game with those game modes. Everything is rushed and expedited. Vanilla allows the player creative control over the game, be it in resource collection or building.
Tell us something about yourself:
When not playing video games, I work part time and am a photography enthusiast. I don't play any sports for school or for leisure, but I love cross fit and weight lifting. I also love the outdoors, everything from snowboarding to camping and hiking.
What is your specialty in minecraft?: In past servers I've been on I have been known as the resource hoarder. I love keeping large amounts of items in my bases. It makes future projects easier. I love setting up farms to collect the things I need, but I also love the grind that comes from tasks such as mining and landscaping. Lately I've also invested a lot of time in pvp servers. Although I'm not the best at it, I know enough about it to be a challenge to the common player.
Why should we accept you?:
Minecraft is a game that has been a part of me through childhood to adulthood. And I see nothing wrong with that. But lately, I've gotten burnt out from the game. The server that I used to play on shut down abruptly and since then I've been a hobo on the forums looking for a new community. I've joined a few servers here and there, however none of them were what I was looking for. Single player simply became too boring. I want to invest my time in a server that I know I will benefit from. I can't promise being active all the time, due to life, but I know that this is a server I'll find myself constantly returning to.
Ingame Name:_TheOriginalWhere are you from?: I am from and live in the United KingdomWhy do you prefer playing in a small community?: I prefer to play in smaller communities because it allows people to connect more and interact with one another much more than they would if the server had over 100 players. What is your favourite aspect of playing on a server with a vanilla-like gameplay?: My favourite aspect of playing Minecraft vanilla would be the surviving and being creative without mods, although mods can be fun there is nothing better than playing any game in vanilla.Tell us something about yourself: I can work well with other people if need be but I prefer to work alone when building or mining. I enjoy playing a lot of video games as they help escape the problems of reality for a couple hours. What is your specialty in minecraft?: I am a really great builder but I would need to be inspired to build something amazingWhy should we accept you?:I would really like to meet some new miners who I can play with on a daily bases instead of playing on single player or mini game servers. I feel I could be a great addition to the community as I'm friendly and will be very active.

Where are you from?: I live in Cyprus, an Island under Turkey.
Why do you prefer playing in a small community?: Cause I don't like to lose track of who I'm playing with. I'd rather have a sort of "family" int he server rather than playing with a bunch of nobodies that don't really emphasize on the community
What is your favourite aspect of playing on a server with a vanilla-like gameplay?: The purity. It's like I'm going back to 1.2 , where there weren't a bunch of server networks and the servers were more player oriented rather than money farming oriented.
Tell us something about yourself: Outside of Minecraft I'm into Computer building and more games really. I'm generally quite the introvert.
What is your specialty in minecraft?: I'm your typical all-rounded Minecraft player. I do everything (I am quite the fast settler, which means I can build efficiently and quickly)
Why should we accept you?: I haven't enjoyed minecraft for quite a time now since I switched to other games and when I came back to it, I didn't have a place to visit. In this server I hope to find a place to call home, and just stay there for as long as I can(that's going to be quite a long time)
~With Regards, S_H
All great applications, you're all accepted and welcome to the server :). The ip is libercraft.net and I hope to see you all on soon!
I crash when I join , any idea what's up with that?
Its most likely something on your end since no one is having the same issues on our server as far as I know. If you want to pm me your crash report, I can have a look. Long time ago, a few times I recommended people to toggle VBO's in options and it has worked for some people who have had issues, but I don't think it will help in this case. Anyways, just pm me the crash report and I'll have a look
Why do you prefer playing in a small community?: I'm a sociable guy. You can't be social in a large community without being cliquey and you can't be sociable when there's no one else on the server. This server seems to be a nice strike between the two. Small community, but not so small it doesn' exist. That's why I'm applying here
What is your favourite aspect of playing on a server with a vanilla-like gameplay?: Building stuff and collecting resources. But mostly building stuff. I build a lot of stuff. I really really like building.
Tell us something about yourself: I used to study architecture. Not as a formal subject but as a hobby. I researched heavily into neo-classical and 20th century empirical designs some of which I have tried to copy into Minecraft.
Why should we accept you?: I guess if you want any other demonstrations of my work from 2012 to date I can provide. All of the above are entirely my own designs with a friend assisting in constructing with the arena. I have a couple of designs I've been working on in creative that I'd like to bring onto your server too. Thanks
Accepted and welcome to the server :), your builds look really nice as well! The ip is libercraft.net and if you have any questions, just ask
Where are you from?: I am from India but living in the United Arab Emirates
Why do you prefer playing in a small community?: I prefer playing in a small community as I think people would be really helpful and not grief. Most of the servers I've played on mostly has people who just want to mess with you when they don't do any work at all. I believe servers like this one will have mature players and having a closed group will increase the connection between the players.
What is your favourite aspect of playing on a server with a vanilla-like gameplay?: I love the thought of actually starting without any resources what so ever and working hard towards building up to an amazing player. Playing in vanilla is purely Minecraft itself, that is the way it was meant to be played.
Tell us something about yourself: I am 16 years old and I am very sociable. I would gladly help anyone who wants it. I have been playing minecraft for around 8 years now.
What is your specialty in minecraft?: Well, since I have been playing minecraft for so long, I have improved in every aspect of the game. But, to be mroe specific, I am really good at redstone and in general, surviving
Why should we accept you?: I will be a player who is helpful to everyone and not just thinking about how I am going to survive in the server. I am a very friendly person who wouldn't hold any grudges on players at all.
Where are you from?: Originally Denmark, but currently in Canada.
Why do you prefer playing in a small community?:
I prefer playing in tight-knit communitites as people tend to be more responsible and not vandalise other people's work. People also tend to help out each other more and have better interactions.
What is your favourite aspect of playing on a server with a vanilla-like gameplay?:
Mods are usually made to enhance gameplay, but playing without them gives you a more pure experience; the way the game was intended. I find the wording of this question a little odd since it would be modded servers that would have aspects to enjoy that are different from vanilla-like gameplay. I would say that my favourite aspect is the definition of semi-vanilla: only lightly sprinkled with plugins that provide mainly administrative help.
Tell us something about yourself:
I have been playing Minecraft for around 5 years, with some lengthy breaks. I love travelling, and I do it at every possibility.
What is your specialty in minecraft?:
I have recently been trying a Greco-Roman style, which seems to work out fairly nicely. I have been known to make nether travel networks in the past.
Why should we accept you?:
I love to be a part of a community, helping out people if they want/need it.

Accepted and welcome to the server :), the IP is libercraft.net and we can't wait to see you on!
Why do you prefer playing in a small community?: Large communities don't feel like you can actually enjoy minecraft. On a small server, there is a family feeling going on since it's (almost) always the same people playing together. You're feeling welcomed and comfortable faster. Also, less immature players since the server is whitelisted.
What is your favourite aspect of playing on a server with a vanilla-like gameplay?: You have to actually work hard to construct your builds. It's simpler and nicer. It gives me challenges.
Tell us something about yourself: I am a quiet person. Not making much conversation. I would be happy to help other people if I can, and participate to server projects. I am respectuf and caring. I prefer to work on my own but if someone needs a hand, always there to do so.
What is your specialty in minecraft?: Building.
Why should we accept you?: I've been playing minecraft on very few servers. I am a respectful and attentive player. I am applying because my husband Boonstick applied and we are usually playing together. I've been playing since Alpha. I am mature and interested in meeting new people to play with. I'm not a troublemaker neither a whiney kid.

Why do you prefer playing in a small community?:The main reason it gives me a chance to get to know players. Additionally, I really prefer a well curated collection of fun and dedicated minecrafters.
What is your favourite aspect of playing on a server with a vanilla-like gameplay?: Simplicity. It takes a lot of work to run a server. Updates and a million plugins can cause a lot of down time for a server and it's players. The more moving parts, the more likely something will go wrong.
Tell us something about yourself: I have been playing Minecraft for almost 6 years. The game provides a nice escape as well as a creative outlet for me.
What is your specialty in minecraft?: I like to make organized, landscaped, towns with infrastructure and central resources.
Why should we accept you?: I play regularly, come with minecraft friends often, and am as much at home on a server with zero people as I am on one with 15 people.

Why do you prefer playing in a small community?: I prefer playing in small communities because, in my opinion, it is a much more enjoyable experience and the way Minecraft should be played. I use to play on a fairly small server for a long time and I developed great connections with the players on there and keep in touch with them to this day. There is a stronger sense of community and tightness that you just can't find on large or overpopulated servers.
What is your favourite aspect of playing on a server with a vanilla-like gameplay?: My favourite part of playing Vanilla Minecraft is the sense of achievement that you can obtain through long hours and hard work. No other game I have played has come close to recreating this experience and playing on a server means you get to share your achievements with people from all over the world and enjoy the experience together.
Tell us something about yourself: I am currently in school working hard to make it through the school year in one piece and with good grades. (Easier said than done). My pastimes include playing games, watching Youtube, and hanging out with friends. My go to projects on Minecraft servers is to set up a town where players can come and buy goods and services. It brings me great pride when at least one other person can appreciate all the hard work I put into a project.
Why should we accept you: I am an excellent team player, and although I may not get on as much as I would like due to real life responsibilities, the time I will be on I can assure you that I will make a contribution towards the server. I enjoy talking to people and taking an interest in their lives as well as having a good sense of humour. I am very polite and will respect everyone I meet and help out where I can.
Thank you for taking the time to consider my application, I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Why do you prefer playing in a small community?:
All great applications, you're all accepted and welcome to the server :). The ip is libercraft.net and I hope to see you all on soon!
Accepted and welcome to the server :), your builds look really nice as well! The ip is libercraft.net and if you have any questions, just ask

Accepted, welcome to the server

Accepted and welcome to the server, we're glad to have you and if you have any questions, feel free to ask :). The ip is libercraft.net and we hope to see you on soon
