Dear Diary,
Just another day in boring Marketon.
I remember when I was 3, and mom used to take me
to the carousel in Central Park. I had so much fun!
But now, as I stare into the window, I see the carousel. Or
whats left of it, anyways. The men from the government burned
it down when the virus came. I remember that, too. The emergency workers
tried to get as many people out, but mom and I stayed. Now, she's sick, and I
cant do anything about it. My next entries are gonna be very short, cause
I am going to spend most of my time exploring this new office building
we are living in right now.

You play the role of this teenager, as he/she makes her way through the land of Marketon, Maine.. After searching in your apartment, you find a letter, saying you have a relative on the other side of the city. So, you go on a quest to find him.
When you do get outside, you see the men from the government have destroyed a lot. Suddenly, you question if they are really from the government at all.
