Hardcore Anarchy is a vanilla hardcore SMP with no rules active since 2/4/2022. Dying on the server results in a three-day ban. What separates Hardcore Anarchy from most anarchy servers is that there is no lag, it runs the latest version, and there is a heavy focus on the vanilla Minecraft experience.
The server forces players to play Minecraft as the game was intended, with no teleporting commands, protection, and by preventing most hacks that give players an advantage. There are no donation rewards, and vote rewards are strictly cosmetic.
When a player dies on Hardcore Anarchy, instead of having their items drop to the ground and despawn, a grave is left with their cause of death. This grave contains all of the player's items and can often contain the players head, which are collectibles on the server and can be put up for display or traded.
Stay connected with the server and communicate with players through Discord.
While hacking is not against the rules of Hardcore Anarchy, the server does have a sophisticated anti-cheat that disallows many unfair advantages such as xray, speed, and fly hacks.
This allows items to have actual value on the server, as they can not be easily xrayed. It also allows players to test their actual skill in Minecraft in both PVP and PVE rather than how good their hacked client is.
To prevent immediate death of new players in the chaotic wastelands of Hardcore Anarchy, players are granted extra lives that only last for their first 30 minutes of gameplay. During this period, the player will not drop their head upon death and has a chance to escape spawn and get their basic tools.
There is also a starter-base maintained by veteran players at the coordinates: 420,420
Hardcore Anarchy runs on an independent dedicated server with very high single core clock speeds. Even while flying around on the elytra you are unlikely to experience much if any lag.
LOL. So, I get on the server, choose a race, and see that a sign says to do /class select (name) to get the class. I try it, and it says I have no permission.
I ask in chat why I have no permissions to do the command, when the sign says I can, and a player named Zydahne says he'll show me where to go. Then he TP's to spawn, and runs in front of the signs to try to get me to follow him. I said "Can you get out of my face so I can read the signs, please?" and he starts to curse at me, and runs off.
mew2keegan, that is my bad for having the /class select sign. Personally, I don't care what Zydahne said to you because he is a player on my server and he has a right to freedom of speech. You can always do /ignore if you dont want to hear him.
I am sorry that the /class select sign was there that is very misleading and confusing and i understand why that would be frusterating, you pick your race and class all on the same board with races on the front, classes on the back. I had to change the way that the classes and races worked to prevent cheating so we use a sign system instead of commands.
I don't expect you to come back after your poor experience, but I would at least like to say sorry for wasting your time and SERIOUSLY THANK YOU bringing this issue to my attention I will fix it immediately. We are a relatively new server that is constantly changing so I rely on the community to bring problems like this to my attention to fix them.
edit: Upon further inspection, it looks like you were being a **** to Zydahne and if I were in his situation i would say the same thing since he was trying to help you LOL. hopefully you can find another server more entertaining than ours.
