SquareDevils is a Vanilla Survival Minecraft Server with an amazing community of players. We are similar in style to that of the Hermitcraft server. We are a very close community of players who are very knowledgeable about the game we love. However, we are not strictly a YouTube oriented server as Hermitcraft is. This also leads us to always be on TeamSpeak (voice chat software) together because we don't need to be alone and recording all the time.
Our current world is an amplified world with a world border set to be 12000 blocks away from the origin in each direction. We also have a few command block setups that make gameplay a bit off from pure vanilla. One of these makes it so that only one player must sleep in a bed to skip the night, another enables player head drops after pvp, and the last allows players to be marked in the tab menu when AFK.
Rules:
We are very strict about lighting up caves thoroughly, overlight the caves even. If not, mob farms will not work, and you will not get your precious mob drops XD. Anytime you go caving, overlight it.
Label your builds with either a custom banner or signs.
Fill in creeper holes!
Cut down your trees to completion!
All parties must consent (in one form or another) to pvp before fighting.

We are looking for experienced dedicated players to join our community. As this server is strongly in correlation with the Hermitcraft server, those of you who are familiar with Hermitcraft, Mindcrack, Zipkrowd, or other YouTube series featuring skilled Minecraft players may be a perfect fit for this server. If you do not follow any of these series, do not fear, but they will definitely give a good idea of the type of server this is. Watching single player series of other skilled Minecrafters, such as Etho, is encouraged as well.

What version of Minecraft did you start in?: 1.6.6 Beta
Approximately how often do you play Minecraft (hrs/week)?: It's mostly at random, but usually around 1 - 4 hours a day. It all depends. College is coming up soon so then I won't be able to play as much as I do now.
What would you say are your strengths or skill set within Minecraft?: I wouldn't say I am an expert at anything, but I am very knowledgeable when it comes to the over-all game. I am a decent builder when I put my mind to it! I am actually-ok at redstone and love to play around with different contraptions I can think of. I like to help people in Minecraft, so I don't mind if people need it :).
If you follow any specific Minecrafters or specific servers (Hermitcraft, Mindcrack, etc.) or series, what are they? I used to follow etho on Mindcrack for quite a while. He has no left mindcrack so now I watch him on hermitcraft.
