About SquareDevils:
SquareDevils is a Vanilla Survival Minecraft Server with an amazing community of players. We are similar in style to that of the Hermitcraft server. We are a very close community of players who are very knowledgeable about the game we love. However, we are not strictly a YouTube oriented server as Hermitcraft is. This also leads us to always be on TeamSpeak (voice chat software) together because we don't need to be alone and recording all the time.
Our current world is an amplified world with a world border set to be 12000 blocks away from the origin in each direction. We also have a few command block setups that make gameplay a bit off from pure vanilla. One of these makes it so that only one player must sleep in a bed to skip the night, another enables player head drops after pvp, and the last allows players to be marked in the tab menu when AFK.
Rules:
We are very strict about lighting up caves thoroughly, overlight the caves even. If not, mob farms will not work, and you will not get your precious mob drops XD. Anytime you go caving, overlight it.
Label your builds with either a custom banner or signs.
Fill in creeper holes!
Cut down your trees to completion!
All parties must consent (in one form or another) to pvp before fighting.

We are looking for experienced dedicated players to join our community. As this server is strongly in correlation with the Hermitcraft server, those of you who are familiar with Hermitcraft, Mindcrack, Zipkrowd, or other YouTube series featuring skilled Minecraft players may be a perfect fit for this server. If you do not follow any of these series, do not fear, but they will definitely give a good idea of the type of server this is. Watching single player series of other skilled Minecrafters, such as Etho, is encouraged as well.

What version of Minecraft did you start in?: I started back in 2012, so I believe during late 1.4 or early 1.5.
Approximately how often do you play Minecraft (hrs/week)?: Honestly, it depends on the day of the week, and if I have school (it's going to start back soon). I will be able to play for at least any hour every day on weekdays and more on weekends.
What would you say are your strengths or skill set within Minecraft?: Well, let's start off with my weaknesses. I am terrible at PVP and redstone, so don't title me as a redstone genius on the server :p. I'm not the best builder, however when I really try, I can build pretty good. I mostly like to help out others by getting them resources if they ask or building exp grinders, general farms, etc.
If you follow any specific Minecrafters or specific servers (Hermitcraft, Mindcrack, etc.) or series, what are they?: I watch Hermitcraft and The Cube SMP (doubt you've heard of the second one) Xisuma and Mumbo Jumbo are my favorites on Hermitcraft and I watch StrauberryJam and heyimbee on the Cube SMP.

How often do I play: 7-10 hours a week
My skills: Building is my best thing and then Redstone and I'm really bad at pvp and parkor

I'm one of the goobers in the screenshots we took, I'll be pming you all whether you are accepted or not, and give you a reason if you aren't accepted. What would you say are your strengths or skill set within Minecraft? I'm what you would call and industral style builder. Where every I go farms of some kind are sure to follow. I found myself in the middle of a build needing black stained clay and 45 minutes later I'm in the middle of a desert building a squid farm. I do a lot of community builds for everyone to use.
