Three years worth, I've spent most of my time on many servers which is where I found my love for roleplaying in a medieval fantasy setting. With that experience I've learnt valuable lessons over that time that helped improve my abilities.
-Define Power-gaming in your own words: Powergaming is when you make your character so unrealistically and unfairly powerful over another. An example of this would be if in an rp-styled fight you didn't give another players character to fight back or react, something like this: *Timmy swings his sword downward on Jimmy's forearm, it falling to the ground as Jimmy began to bleed out* Now this would be fine if somehow Jimmy consented OOC and IC or was unconscious IC but if both characters had engaged in swordplay and one emoted this out of the blue, this would be considered unrealistic and unfair toward the receiving end of the situation.
-Define Meta-gaming in your own words: Metagaming is when you use OOC information to better your situation IC. Now let's revisit Timmy and Jimmy, let's just say Jimmy did something to upset Timmy and he wanted to find him in order to confront him, if Timmy curiously asked Jimmy OOC where he was then later used that information to find him IC, then this would be considered metagaming.

She isn’t terribly graceful, she does hold a sense of self when walking from place to place. She holds her head up high, due to her proud attitude and sense of self. Her skirt seems to sway side to side as she walks, having a very fluid walking style, despite occasionally bobbing when happy or slouching when frustrated.
Her face is round, though her chin tapers out into a very faint point giving the illusion of a heart shaped face.With her doe eyes and butterfly lashes, her face echos the soft look of her appearance. She has little to no harsh lines on her face besides the crows feet at the corner of her eyes due to too many fireside chats and lonely nights and a scar along her right eye. Ari’s mouth was full and undefined, the edges fading out into a light gradient, though still being pronounce. Around the corner of her lips, laugh lines are prevalent, though soothingly so- adding to her overall welcoming aura.
Ari’s body is rarely seen outside of her circle of close friends, being rather modest in appearance despite showing a bit more than she had in the past. With this growth in confidence, her body is healthy, her slim waist tapering out into rather wide set hips. While being rather full in body, she is still rather muscular due to her daily activities. While she isn’t showing in muscular, her wide set shoulders and shapely arms show the proof that she was an woman who enjoyed work rather than sitting about. The thin layer of freckles coat her body, though more prominent where the sun shines.
Ari’s hair has a various number of hairstyles, though she prefers to have the top half tied back with a headscarf to keep the rather rambunctious curls out of her face. She likes her hair down, especially right after washing. The blonde locks are rather soft, not giving off the shiney sheen some hair types do. The strands themselves are thin, but numerous leading to a lot of volume.

The is very open to others, giving them hospitality that can likely be rivaled by none. As selfish as the woman is, she is not afraid to be giving and loving as so long as it does not negatively impact her or the people she holds in desperately high regard. She is unafraid of accepting people into her home, and is more than willing to offer them as warm drink and a comfortable drink to help make the people who know her feel comfortable and as at home as she can make.
While never really knowing what home felt like growing up when she was young, she knew how she wanted people to feel around her due to a woman named Danica Leifstrom. She will never forget the feeling of being in her home, and strives to make her own as similar as hers was.

During her childhood, she was quickly taught not to open up to others should she risk a whipping due to being too talkative. During her time as server in Leonidas’s Inn, she found that the best way to keep herself safe was to keep her past to herself. Learning the art of flattery and small talk, she keeps to these things as a safeguard from those who might wish to do her harm in the future. In her own mind, she finds that the less people know of her as a person, she might be safer as a result.
While being generally talkative, one person might notice after enough times that the conversation is rarely ever about her, simply avoiding any such topics for this reason. Only close friends and family would have knowledge of the happenings in her personal life.

As headstrong as she is, she is unafraid of to tell things as she is, and vehemently believe in them as well. If she believes something is the truth she is unafraid to say it so at theexpense of sounding like an idiot or being taken like an *****. She sticks firmly to her beliefs, and should someone cross them, she has a tendency to lash out and become violent to the offender. As strongly as she stands for something, this is a double edged sword as she can be sometimes a hypocrite, only wanting to see what she wants rather than the whole situation.

For those or what she sees important, she offers her most valuable asset she can to them-disregarding her own health and well being. To those she sees as friends or hobbies and professions she sees as a passion, she dedicates her heart and soul to those causes. She is unafraid to offer her life to them and do them many favors for nothing in return. She loves to do it and spoil those she loves, so she doesn’t see it as much of a hassle as much of a gift to them.
Regarding things such as her tailoring or mending practices, she always does things as well as she can, seeing them as an embodiment of herself in artistic form. When she does a stitch, she will continue to do it over and over until it does exactly what she wishes to. As with her job being a unprofessional nurse, she makes sure the wrapping or cleaning is done without error.
Her hands are as steady as an unbothered sea.

Unafraid to be honest with both those closest to her as well as strangers, she is always giving meaningful advice, even if it might inconvenience someone’s personal beliefs. Even if she herself may not like her beliefs trampled upon, her mindset is that if it is true to her- self then she has a right to say it. She isn’t the kindest, as she doesn’t hold back. If she were to, it wouldn’t be as honest as she could be when it comes down to it. And honesty for her is one of the biggest key factors in her and her character due to her willingness to stick her nose in due to her beliefs and values.

In a dimly lit, raggedy orphanage, moonlight shone through one of its many dusty window panes with it’s curtains parted, now spotted with things of frost. A small little bundle of joy with rosy cheeks and eyes of soft green sat on the lap of her elder sister, snorting happily at the sight of her first snow. She was hushed, not to cause a ruckus while the other children slept..
A man stood on the cobble, a simple observer on the streets. He knew why he had paused. Tall in stature, he held a small oil lamp in his left. Bundled up so warm, he could hardly peer at the two children in the moonlit pane without some fabric jostling around. The morrow would do, he decided, before continuing about his business on the streets.
The next day and the next after that, the orphanage received a strange visitor. A hardy man, wearing a scholars robes, visibly wizened- he made a stop from his errands to look over the children the on first. He asked the pair who he observed in the pane a few questions, before he left. On the second day, they awakened to a carriage- and though it was not quite the stuff fairy tales were made out of, it was more than the two had ever witnessed. Suffice to say, they were overjoyed.
Though he was not considered their father, and rather their master- they were not slaves, and much more like daughters to him, who received his last name for lack thereof. They received a rich education and were his apprentices; and while Ari’s sister Emily did not have the medical potential that she did, it did not matter that much in his eyes, as she flourished in other fields of study. But during this time the Pact War prevented Ariadni and Emily from doing much work in the beginning, as their food was rationed as well as paper and other materials being stripped from their master, for it was needed in the war effort. While as rambunctious as Ari was, the war up until it ended didn't give her the opportunity to actively be this way.
While always the reckless wild child, Emily was always there to care for Ariadni when their master could not, when she got hurt, or when her experiments went awry. Because they were four years apart in age, they had many pointless arguments as children (much to their master’s displeasure), but no petty bump in the road could break their bond. When Emily fell ill at the age of fifteen with an odd and deadly plague, there was no medicine that could fix that damage it caused to her dear sister, nor that could recover her lost memory. In the end, she was put down for the better.
Ten-year old Ariadni mourned, but grew as a better person in the end. While packing the responsibilities her late sister once did upon herself along with the ones she always had was not the healthiest thing for young Ari, and stunted her once rambunctious personality; in a way she grew up thereafter taking her role as an apprentice much more seriously than before.
She left the lonely cottage in the middle of nowhere (practically nowhere), when she was about sixteen, having nothing left to learn from her master and adoptive father. Ariadni learned on the streets how to make profit out of being a traveling nurse and scholar; and yet with no plans for the future, Ariadni was hopeful.
The woman with the soft green eyes worked day from night, head to toe; she was no stranger to the grind for every copper to make her name known in the streets. Over the next three years of her life she did so. She made a habit to journal constantly, whether it be ideas of the future life she had dreamed, or on human anatomy (her second favorite study), and her studies and theory in human anatomy have made a dent.
However, on the third year as Ariadni noticed her memory had began to crumble- she fell ill with a plague very, very similar to Emily’s. Here memories swept away, her body weakened just like her sister's. When she was visited by her master, he was devastated. She was tossed between many healers and doctors far and few, but none had seen a disease quite like hers.
When her disease rotted her memory so bad that she could not recall a thing the very next morning; her master read to her every journal she owned, every morning. Just in hopes she would begin to retain…
But nothing stuck. After months, Aria made a decision for herself. Though the disease rendered her weak, unable to perform any sort of hard work, walk too far a distance- she decided she could still write. Therefore, she could still function. And swore to find a man or woman who could heal her memory loss.
The fourth year, present day. Aria knows herself; she knows to fear the night, the moon- when her memories crumble, sapped by her own mind into oblivion. She awakens at dawn, to begin a few hours worth of reading, before she begins every day. Not like herself like the day before, nor the one after- but she hopes to make a name for herself, and will continue to live under her masters’ legacy.

You’re walking around the markets at around noon. There’s a lot of people around you, still gathering their items as they prepare to shut down their many stands. Suddenly you feel a gentle lifting of your coin purse as a child graces you and soon after they take off sprinting. You have been robbed.
Answer:
Ariadni would be surprised and would call out for the child, looking about to see if anyone would come to her aid, but alas, no one but her saw. Ari would weakly begin to jog toward the child, at least wanting to make a compromise for she worked hard for that money and needed it. Aria would eventually get fatigued and stop, realizing the days end as she defeated made her way to the nearest tavern or inn.
You’re heading back to the city through the woods when you hear a whining coming from nearby. Upon further investigation you come across a grey-coloured wolf that appears to have its leg caught in a bear trap. Around it is three smaller lumps of fur, obviously puppies belonging to the trapped mother. Without help, they’ll all die, but wolf skins are quite valuable too, not to mention that the nearby farms suffer quite a bit from the wolf population.
Answer:
Ariadni would look at the wolf an it's pups with guilt, moving over to the wolf with any weapon she had, attempting to free the mother to let nature truly take it's course. She may be selfish, but she considered life to valuable to willingly take so easily, this was just another example of that even if she did just slow down the wolf and her pup's suffering.

I've made some minor edits to the story, as for the plague being able to be healed with some difficulty I should've made note that both Emily and Ariadni were only thrown between healers and doctors that knew of natural methods, such as herbalism.

If a character has not put effort into their abilities, they should not be able to compare to characters who have. That is the difference between a powerful character and a powergamer: A powerful character has earned their power through roleplay, and a powergamer has not.
Powergaming also includes a concept known as 'Godmodding,' where one player forces actions upon another's character. This sort of powergaming is very clear and concise when it occurs: "Roberto drives his spear into Alfonso's chest, mortally wounding him" or "Hasthrafel throws the unlit torch to Casus, who catches it." Preventing this sort of powergaming is very simple: Emote your character attempting to do things ("Roberto attempts to drive his spear into Alfonso's chest") or include the intention of the action, not the desired result ("Hastrafel throws the unlit torch to Casus for the man to catch.")

While he tries to avoid becoming entangled with cities and their stink, he does occasionally sell firewood, meat, and basic furniture on the sly- no questions asked as to their source. These covert sales allow him to replace broken axeheads and other specialized implements. He does not object explicitly to renting a stall, but questions the necessity of such regulations, and would rather his business be his own. He has been known to join hunting parties when wild animals threaten the farmers and other folk who rely upon the land for their livelihoods.
-Character description (At least one to two paragraphs describing your character’s visual appearance.): Havard is tall, gaunt, proudfaced, fairhaired and fairskinned, with a lean, haggard sort of strength about him. His deep brow is furrowed, his strong jaw bearded, and his azure eyes sullen. A dozen little faint wrinkles around his face betray a harsh life as much as his voice- deep, rough, and wearily, dangerously quiet. Small scars mark his body, faded though they may be- a razor-thin nick along the left side of his throat, just below the jaw, and a jagged, rough set of gashes around his right forearm. He holds himself with a certain amount of poise and readiness.
-Character personality and traits (At least one to two paragraphs describing their personality traits and/or quirks.): An upbringing in the woods, coupled with semi-regular visits from his father's Dwarven comrade, have given Havard what may be a peculiar outlook on life, especially when compared to his fellow humans. Hospitality is sacred, wits are to be kept about one's self, everything has a place in the world, and death will come- so the best death is a escaped one, and the next best one well-fought. Notably, Havard recognises and worships each of the eight Gods, though each for different reasons.
Havard is generally good-natured, if not necessarily kind-hearted. His mindset is fairly individualistic, and many of his decisions are made with one question in mind: "What do I gain from this?" At the same time, he is not entirely mercenary in these matters, and trust, hospitality, respect, and favors are as important to him as coin. Above all else, he seeks to secure himself and the ones he cares about. Havard believes that violence is the base of the world, and resigns himself to its inevitability: he does not seek confrontations, but will resort to violence even as he regrets it.
-Character biography (At least three paragraphs describing your character's history and experiences): Havard is the son of a veteran of the Pact Wars, and his grandfather and great-grandfather each met their doom in the decade-spanning conflict, along with most of his elder relatives. Havard himself was briefly levied as an archer during the closing months of the wars, and served as a scout during the Fae crisis. He was wounded during his first levy, and does not like to talk that particular incident. Now, with the devastated west rebuilding, Havard cannot help but fear that progress will not be so easy a path as one would hope, and his outlook on the future is grim and hesitant.
Havard's grandfather and father each met a Dwarf in the war- a stout, raven-haired specimen named Hralmar- and by the time of Havard's childhood, Hralmar had become too old to fight, and so, lacking any surviving family, retired to Barkamsted, near the woods in which Havard's family lived. Hralmar served as a grandfather for young Havard, visiting once or twice every month as circumstances allowed, and the boy's name was even given in honor of Hralmar's own son, lost in the massacres years prior. Though he did not realise it, Havard learned quite a bit about Dwarven ways during these visits, and was molded by them more than he knows.
The forest also shaped Havard's young self. His first lessons were in survival- chopping wood, starting fires, building small shelters, and finding food to cook. He also learned to draw and loose a bow, and as he grew, so too did his weapon. By the age of nine he had felled his first deer, with his father at his side- by twelve, his first bear, when it lumbered too close to the hut. At thirteen, he was nearly mauled by a pack of wolves, but survived when his father arrived.
At the age of sixteen, Havard was levied in the final push against the Pact, and the war was won in the same year. He learned to ride a horse during the campaign, and was wounded shortly before the campaign's end, recovering well with little to show for the ordeal- the timing of his dismissal spared him many of the horrors his comrades would face as the aim of the war turned towards eradicating the Cult and defeating its machinations, leaving Havard all at once relieved for his life and regretful for his lost chance to avenge his people. He retreated into the wilderness for a few years after his recovery, living on his own and contemplating the world and his place in it as the ravages of Uldir and Hell threatened the kindgom, unknown to him. His return to civilization and the realisation of what had transpired in those lost years shook him deeply, and gave him further insight into the ways of things.
In the years to come, Havard would be levied again, this time acting as a scout and messenger when the Fae threatened the land. At the conclusion of this second campaign, he returned home to find his father sick of an old wound, and buried the man who had raised him.
Now, some time later, Havard sets out to Falkvard, consumed by wanderlust after years only intermittently sparse with adventure.. perhaps against his better judgement, but with witfulness still upon his mind.

It was too late. As Havard burst through the crowd, he could clearly see that the child had disappeared into the milling bodies. It was another reason not to visit the city- he'd had it coming to him. No pickpockets in the woods, he thought to himself. None that you can't shoot without causing trouble, at least. A dozen other folk had probably lost their coin this week. He would survive. Hopefully the child would survive too, and stop stealing.

A mother. Pups. It was heartless, the thought, the act- but nature was heartless. Havard knew that as well as anyone who lived upon the land, and so he did not flinch as he did quickly what would have been drawn out. He had been fortunate to carry his axe with him this time. Did he regret it, he wondered?
They were three wolves, at least, that would not grow to take livestock or children, and another which would not spawn more. For all four deaths, the sun still rose.

Ericia tho was my scrub one tho where Spritz111 and Akir really showed me the ropes. They practically raised me into role playing and have an unpayable dept to both of them. My first Character was Serana and i had her just under a year before she was killed off by some one who actually got band for killing people without proper rp reasons. Since her i've had many other some of the more notable ones where a Spanish Pirate and a Tribal member of a lost tribe, A zombie remake of Serana for a event.

-Character Occupation: In Barkemsted she was a Lumberjack but she seeks to join the Hunters Guild. In honor of of her lost love one.
-Character description: Alice usually has her hair flowing down her back and over her shoulders. When she goes out to work she will always have it tied up with leather straps and sticks to make sure her hair never gets in her face. Her hairs color is Red like a ruby. Alice's face has a few freckles on it that she usually covers up. Her nose has a wider bridge and tip rather than pointy. Her cheeks are thinner while her cheek bones are soft with a nice curve to them, not quite Heroic. Her lips are thin with barley a sign of cupids lip. her chin has a soft roundness to it with her jaw being a little lower than usual. Her skin slightly tanned with her eyes having a soul piercing blue.
Alice stands at 6 foot tall with a straight body figure. Her arms are muscly from chopping wood most of her life. Her hair reaches just past the halfway point of her back. Her breasts are a B cup almost matching the curvature of her shoulders. Alice will usually be wearing her cloth singlet with the leather center. she also wears hide leggings and fur boots often to keep her shoulders warm she will wear her bearskin fur.
-Character personality and traits: Alice has this fear of being neglected and left alone, nothing is worse for her than being alone for a few days. Alice would begin to conjure up enemy after enemy as they all will slowly eat away at her and bring her down. when she is with other she enjoys drinking and getting up to a little bit of mischief. She is happy to joke about most things other than werewolves. Alice does not find werewolves funny or joke about them and has a hunger to kill them like a body needs water. Alice also has a birthmark behind her right ear that she only knows about from her last love. Alice also puts work above most things.

Alice's mother and father where Cult members from the brutal and cold Cult War. They had moved to Barkemsted. Hide out until a greater power come's. Alice found this out from the many of folk that walked through the shop or stayed the night. They often talked about the /Glory days/. Being one of the few cultists that made it out without a slap on the wrist they still looked to once again rise with their order. Still cruel, Alice's parents use too to make fake humans to be her friends and making them seem so real with how they spoke. She figured out a pattern. The people her parents made could not be touched and they usually abused her when she failed to do what her parents required her to do. She was often told that if her father wasn't so drunk on the night of her conception it wouldn't have happened. At the age of 8 a group of Gypsy's had come to town and where fairly nice people. they just wanted small prices at shops. There where three men that entered the shop all wearing bright clothes, the looked around but one of them looked at an old white stone in the shop, it had been there since the shop was opened, mainly because no one wanted to buy a white rock for 1000 gold pieces. after a short time all the men where looking at it and discussing something about it, When Alice got close to see what they where talking about they looked at her and simply stopped. they asked Alice "can we can pay 800 gold for this, is your.." before the man could finish his sentence. Alice's father had yelled from the back of the shop "One thousand five hundred, I forgot to change the price" he walked out with a smirk on his face. The Gypsy man tried to persuade Alice's father to lower the price but her father just got more arrogant and rude. at the end of the conversation Alice's father kicked them out and threaten to call the guards. One of the men simply said "Marked" and left the building. That particular afternoon seemed to last forever for Alice. the shop was so silent and still. After the Gypsy men had left there where no customers and the shop had almost an eerie feel to it. Alice remembered the moon that night, it was so cold as she looked out of her window. Never had the night seemed to long. When she woke it had felt like she had slept for years. As she walked around the house she noticed that no one was home, after heading down stairs she noticed the front door hadn't been unlocked. From that day a lot of people in the area knew Alice as the child who wished away her parents or as the child who sent her to hell. She picked up names like Hell Singer and Devil Child as most of the people taught she had come in touch with the magic her parents had and sent them away. for a few months she lived in a cell in the conspiracy that she had used dark magic to some how kill her own family.
it was not until she was thirteen when she had decided to leave town, she wondered off the road and deep into the woods where she became lost. After spending the night in the woods she could see the sunrise coming over the horizon and knew that was the way to walk, her feet blistered and bloody from the small leather shoes she wore she made her way towards the light. As she walked over a hill she saw not the sun but a lumber mill with torches burning away brightly in the nights darkness. Alice walked towards it before falling asleep in the near by stable. She woke to a boy picking her up "What have we got here? a new slave?" he laughed as he threw her over his shoulder. "Hey let me down" Alice kicked and struggled as she tried to get down. the boy laughed as he held onto her "Look what i found in the stable" he said as he walked over to the mill. Another voice said "It dose not look like a horse or a cow to me" Alice was set down between the two males. the much older man looked over her "Do you know who this is?" he said to the boy that carried her. "Not a clue" the boy replied. The man smiled at the girl "My name is Hiefen, have you got one girl, or should i keep calling you girl?"
"Alice" she said quickly not wanting to have much to do with these people. "Well Alice, since you have slept in my stable without my permission you are going to have to work so you can repay your dept, i think a week sounds like enough" looked at the boy and said "Ethos, can you make sure she dose not leave before the end of the week?" "It would be a challenge i would enjoy" he smiled. "And if she escapes come tell me so i can set the dogs on her" Hiefen gave one last smile before he headed back to work. Ethos looked at Alice "It's not that bad here, i wouldn't be surprised if you stayed longer" and that she did. Alice spent years there working for Hiefen and enjoyed most of it, she even grew fond to Ethos, and he to her.
Alice reached 18 when Heifen proposed to her with a necklace he had personally carved into a detailed face. He told her that even through death his heart would be hers just as much as this necklace belongs to her. She accepted the gift and they where to be wed by the end of the year. they worked on building a house not far from the lumber mill where they first met. The house was almost complete and the wedding only a few weeks to go the excitement was starting to kick in. Alice and Ethos where walking back to the main house from making love in the woods. as Ethos was puting his belt back on he looked to Alice "Im so happy you turned up in our stable that morning, i dont know what i would have done if you didn't" Alice smiled at him before replying with "You could have always married a tree"

"its going to take more than that to get me away from you" as he went in for a kiss a large fury hand tore him away from her. Alice pulled to the ground by the force of him being pulled away from her. A large beast begun sinking its teeth into Ethos's neck. Alice saw Ethos's hatchet torn from belt laying on the ground. She scampered to grab it before she wedged it deep into the beasts back. It threw her back as it turned and ran into the woods howling. "Ethos!" Alice quickly made her way over to him before looking at his neck. He was unable to speak as blood filled his throat, he held her necklace before the life faded from his body. Alice hit the tree as she screamed, it was answered by a Howl. it was time to leave. Alice gave Ethos one last kiss. before she ran through the woods faster than she had ever ran before. She could hear the rustle in the trees of the beasts rapidly gaining on her before they gone in front of her. She stopped as she heard screams coming from the mill. She sat in the forest and waited for her death, along time after the the screams stopped she was found by the beasts. The three beasts looked at her as they circled her. "I Hate You All" She whimpered as she looked at the three. She stood up "I Will Kill All Of You!!!!" She screamed at them as she stood up, the next thing she knew they where gone. The moon had left and the sun had taken its place before she returned to Ethos, He was no where to be seen. The mill was a ghostly as blood was splatted everywhere but no bodies where to be seen. She saw nothing of worth other than Ethos's Long sword and felt hes spirit had left it for her to avenge his death. With tales of the hunters guild killing all sorts of beasts she knew that was the best place to start on her road of vengeance.

I'd watch the child run off and before chasing them i'd think back to my child hood and how rough it was. "He probably needs it more than i do". I would sigh before checking how much they had stolen. (if they had stolen quite a bit) "I'll run into him again, He can owe me something" i would keep a closer eye out as i walked down the street continuing my journey to an Inn.
You’re heading back to the city through the woods when you hear a whining coming from nearby. Upon further investigation you come across a grey-coloured wolf that appears to have its leg caught in a bear trap. Around it is three smaller lumps of fur, obviously puppies belonging to the trapped mother. Without help, they’ll all die, but wolf skins are quite valuable too, not to mention that the nearby farms suffer quite a bit from the wolf population.
As Alice looked to the wolves whining she would watch them for a bit and think on what to do. Out of the silence in the late night air people near by would hear the ringing of an unsheathed sword. Alice would attempt swing her sword into the neck of the mother wolf. Not being very good with a sword she would only break into the spine before turning to the pups swinging away to kill the rest of them. After all of them where dead or routed she would leave the mess for the person who left the trap.

Born 8 years after the Fall of Silivrenmîr
The village my character was born in was attacked by Orcs and both me and my mother escaped but my father stayed behind to hold them back to give us time to escape. So with no other place to go to my mother and me along with other survivors headed to Barkamsted and the journey seemed bleak but my mother promised herself to make it through. It took 4 months to get there and in those 4 months my mother and the others she was with struggled with tasks of finding food, shelter, and avoiding enemies. Having most of her money being left behind in the village she knew it would not be easy to find a new home. Luckily a nice human fabric maker named Shea Hesterf took her in and helped her get back on her feet. Shea said that my mother reminded her of her daughter that was sadly taken in the war as well as her granddaughter.
Four years later Meira was a seller of animal meats and skins and made a decent living but as the war raged and Barkamsted under attack from the Pact going out to hunt and collect food became more and more of a difficult thing to do, soon she could not go out at all. Though times were tough and the fear of the war shadowed over her, she continued to try her hardest to give her daughter a good life.
During this time Shearah was growing up and learning the ways of the world and it was difficult for her because many people would bully her and saw her as “unworthy” of being social with, as she was a ash-elf, calling her “Sootskin”. She only had one friend and that was a stuffed wolf named Kailu that her mother had bought her when she was five years old. As a result of the torment she became cold and heartless towards other High elves and Dark elves except her mother and her father.
Since her mother was a hunter she worshipped perities and taught her daughter to worship him as well. As she grew older her mother would tell stories about her father and how they met and when she was old enough to understand her mother told her about what happened to her father. One day her mother received a letter from an anonymous sender telling her that her husband was alive and that he loves them but cannot return to them for a unknown reason. My mother was shocked as she recognized the handwriting as her beloved. With this new information Shearah decided to go and look for her father promising her mother to bring him back.
My character began to train in combat with the help of a retired knight and learned weapon and hunting skills from her mother in order to be ready for when the time came when she would leave her mother in search for her father (started training in combat when she was 26 years old). It took many years but she had finally gained the abilities to protect herself and go out into the real world on her own. Though she may not be a master or expert at it, she was trained hand to hand combat making her capable of some self defense. But her strongest asset would be her hunting skills.
Once gaining the appropriate age where she could feel confident being on her own, Shearah went out into the world to fulfill the promise she made to her mother. Not knowing where to start, and being all too familiar with Barakamsted, she goes to the city of Falkvard where her journey would begin.

She’d look at the wolves with sad look. From the look of the wound on the mother wolf’s leg it seemed to be deep and she knew if she did nothing the animal would die suffering along with its pups. She carefully approached the wolf as not to startle it but to make it aware of her presence. “That looks like a pretty nasty wound you got there.” she spoke in a quiet tone. The wolf growled in a threatening way and tried to back away. “Ok, ok i can see that you’re unsure of me but...” she pulled out a piece of deer meat from her backpack, “You need my help and so do your pups.” she spoke in a low tone as she tossed a meat near the wolf in hope to get it to trust her. The wolf sniffed the meat and slowly started to eat it, it then looked at her with trusting but awareful look before putting it’s head down as a way of saying “You can help but don’t try anything funny.”. She slowly got closer to the wolf and pulled out a bandage, “Alright let's fix you up.”

Alone- Speaking of leaving her alone... Me’sira has been alone inside her whole life. She only wants people to leave her alone because it is what she is used to. She is waiting for the one person to refuse to leave her alone. Her famous line is "I'm fine. Really." She wants at least one guy to say, "No, you're not."
Determined- Never has anyone seen or witnessed Me’sira giving up. She is very determined in whatever she is doing and will not give up. She finds that giving up is like saying "I can't do this. I know I'm going to fail." But she is the total opposite. She will succeed because she tries.
Overprotective- When she finds herself attached to someone she won't let go. She will do anything and everything to protect them...Even if it means being with them 24/7. She will seem so overprotective that it can get annoying. She just would need someone to speak up and say "Hey, back off." And she will.
Intelligent- Many people may not see it, but she is actualy very intelligent. She has figured out many acts as a kit and she still does as an adult. That's why if she says something out of the blue, you should listen to her. Although, she might keep it in because many ignore her all the time.
Laid Back- Me’sira doesn't get upset about too many things, unless it is very very serious. Other than that, she is pretty chill and laid back. She will choose to listen to your reasonings and will often understand. Though she does not expect the same understanding towards her.
Flirty- Me’sira is not all that about love but she still flirts for fun. But let me warn you, it is rare that she actually flirts good. Most of her flirting is terrible and she can't help it. And sometimes it gets to the point where she is basically inulting you.

Her father shook his head, “I thought we would be free from this fate if we came here. Seems we can’t escape destiny... This land is more prosperous than Elimar, your homeland. I beg of you to not return for sickness ravages the land. I have fallen, and you will to if you return. Now go! It’s contagious.”
This was the last thing Me'Sira had heard of her mom. Soon after she had moved to a small town with her father, The Pact had moved in, destroying everything. Her father, Se’Hun, was killed in the process. She actually didn’t learn this until a few days later, as her father had told her to hide in the woods. She was only nine when this happened.
Six years later, she was swashbuckling with a band of pirates. She had been found by a Elvish friend of her father at 14. When she had told her story to him, he took her under his wing, teaching her how to fend for herself. She had no memory of her father and assumed she had never had one. “You’re a fine captain Sira! She took her dagger and swiftly ended the she wolf's life, taking care to make it quick as possible. She picked up the pups and set them aside, then freed the body of the mother from the trap. She covered it with leaves as a respect filled vigil. Me'Sira went to walk away when she remembered the pups. Setting them in her belt, she went to the village to see what she could fetch for them. As for Havard's surname, I suppose his parents/grandparents/etc into ancestory didn't feel one was needed! An insignificant family of illiterate peasant foresters of no special note? Check. A human son with an already relatively distinctive Dwarven name? Check. If Havard were required to give some sort of surname, he'd probably just answer "Havard, son of redacted." It's much easier for the few folk he deals with to say "Aye, that's Havard the Woodsman. He looks like a woodsman. Talks like one. Is one, I think. Says he is. Lives in a hut at the edge of the woods. He's a man, I think. Says he is. Has a beard."
If it's important for him to have a surname in the setting- well, I'm sure he'll catch on soon, and make one up.

I'm sorry to say this, but your application is far too underwhelming and will require much more to be accepted.
First to address, your definitions for powergaming and metagaming will need to be expanded to more clearly convey what they mean on our server.
As for Astaroth himself, there's very little written in his character background, nevermind the fact that it completely lacks any inclusion of Saphriel's lore. As many characters know, the Pact War had a great effect on the realm and desecrated practically every village and town to the point where Barkamsted became the last safe place for Alliance races. The war itself lasted about 70 years and has ended only a mere 11 years ago IC when the Alliance and the Pact joined together to stop a greater force: the cult that orchestrated it all. Thus, it is crucial for your character's backstory to make mention of this with how they survived through this period. I would recommend a whole rework of the biography, though if you are to keep the same basis you have now, I would also advice you to tell us more about why Astaroth was bullied, how he came to think he was wrong for fighting back, why thugs burned down the farm, etc.
While you're at it as well, it should be good to see you flesh out more on Astaroth's description and personality. Such things like the color of his hair and eyes other than just dark, his exact height, style of clothing, mannerisms, values he lives by in this supposed 'righteous moral code', and many more things can add a lot more to his character.
Sooo... a question. What kind of PC do you recommend? I currently use a clean laptop.
Any computer that can run Minecraft should be able to play on the server. We honestly don't have any sort of standard or recommendation for PC specs and the like, but there are some areas of the server that can significantly drop in FPS especially with a high-res resource pack. What we do recommend is the use of Optifine, which will help optimize your Minecraft client to run better.
While the majority of the application seems properly written, it should be noted in the backstory how your character’s family had ended up moving from the Ca’liar home island of Einar to Saphriel, as contact between the two had been minimal for the past several years. As well, your meta-gaming description is a bit off, please fix that when possible as well.

She has little to no harsh lines on her face besides the crows feet at the corner of her eyes due to too many fireside chats and lonely nights and a scar along her right eye. Ari’s mouth was full and undefined, the edges fading out into a light gradient, though still being pronounce. Around the corner of her lips, laugh lines are prevalent, though soothingly so- adding to her overall welcoming aura.
Ari’s body is rarely seen outside of her circle of close friends, being rather modest in appearance despite showing a bit more than she had in the past. With this growth in confidence, her body is healthy, her slim waist tapering out into rather wide set hips. While being rather full in body, she is still rather muscular due to her daily activities. While she isn’t showing in muscular, her wide set shoulders and shapely arms show the proof that she was an woman who enjoyed work rather than sitting about. The thin layer of freckles coat her body, though more prominent where the sun shines.
Ari’s hair has a various number of hairstyles, though she prefers to have the top half tied back with a headscarf to keep the rather rambunctious curls out of her face. She likes her hair down, especially right after washing. The blonde locks are rather soft, not giving off the shiney sheen some hair types do. The strands themselves are thin, but numerous leading to a lot of volume.

As selfish as the woman is, she is not afraid to be giving and loving as so long as it does
not negatively impact her or the people she holds in desperately high regard. She is unafraid
of accepting people into her home, and is more than willing to offer them as warm drink and
a comfortable drink to help make the people who know her feel comfortable and as at home as
she can make.
While never really knowing what home felt like growing up when she was young, she knew
how she wanted people to feel around her due to a woman named Danica Leifstrom. She will
never forget the feeling of being in her home, and strives to make her own as similar as
hers was.

During her childhood, she was quickly taught not to open up to others should she
risk a whipping due to being too talkative. During her time as server in Leonidas’s Inn,
she found that the best way to keep herself safe was to keep her past to herself. Learning
the art of flattery and small talk, she keeps to these things as a safeguard from those who
might wish to do her harm in the future. In her own mind, she finds that the less people
know of her as a person, she might be safer as a result.
While being generally talkative, one person might notice after enough times that the
conversation is rarely ever about her, simply avoiding any such topics for this reason.

violent to the offender. As strongly as she stands for something, this is a double edged
sword as she can be sometimes a hypocrite, only wanting to see what she wants rather than
the whole situation.

In a dimly lit, raggedy orphanage, moonlight shone through one of its many dusty window panes with it’s curtains parted, now spotted with things of frost. A small little bundle of joy with rosy cheeks and eyes of soft green sat on the lap of her elder sister, snorting happily at the sight of her first snow. She was hushed, not to cause a ruckus while the other children slept..
A man stood on the cobble, a simple observer on the streets. He knew why he had paused. Tall in stature, he held a small oil lamp in his left. Bundled up so warm, he could hardly peer at the two children in the moonlit pane without some fabric jostling around. The morrow would do, he decided, before continuing about his business on the streets.
The next day and the next after that, the orphanage received a strange visitor. A hardy man, wearing a scholars robes, visibly wizened- he made a stop from his errands to look over the children the on first. He asked the pair who he observed in the pane a few questions, before he left. On the second day, they awakened to a carriage- and though it was not quite the stuff fairy tales were made out of, it was more than the two had ever witnessed. Suffice to say, they were overjoyed.
Though he was not considered their father, and rather their master- they were not slaves, and much more like daughters to him, who received his last name for lack thereof. They received a rich education and were his apprentices; and while Ari’s sister Emily did not have the medical potential that she did, it did not matter that much in his eyes, as she flourished in other fields of study. But during this time the Pact War prevented Ariadni and Emily from doing much work in the beginning, as their food was rationed as well as paper and other materials being stripped from their master, for it was needed in the war effort. While as rambunctious as Ari was, the war up until it ended didn't give her the opportunity to actively be this way.
While always the reckless wild child, Emily was always there to care for Ariadni when their master could not, when she got hurt, or when her experiments went awry. Because they were four years apart in age, they had many pointless arguments as children (much to their master’s displeasure), but no petty bump in the road could break their bond. When Emily fell ill at the age of fifteen with an odd and deadly plague, there was no medicine that could fix that damage it caused to her dear sister, nor that could recover her lost memory. In the end, she was put down for the better.
Ten-year old Ariadni mourned, but grew as a better person in the end. While packing the responsibilities her late sister once did upon herself along with the ones she always had was not the healthiest thing for young Ari, and stunted her once rambunctious personality; in a way she grew up thereafter taking her role as an apprentice much more seriously than before.
She left the lonely cottage in the middle of nowhere (practically nowhere), when she was about sixteen, having nothing left to learn from her master and adoptive father. Ariadni learned on the streets how to make profit out of being a traveling nurse and scholar; and yet with no plans for the future, Ariadni was hopeful.
The woman with the soft green eyes worked day from night, head to toe; she was no stranger to the grind for every copper to make her name known in the streets. Over the next three years of her life she did so. She made a habit to journal constantly, whether it be ideas of the future life she had dreamed, or on human anatomy (her second favorite study), and her studies and theory in human anatomy have made a dent.
However, on the third year as Ariadni noticed her memory had began to crumble- she fell ill with a plague very, very similar to Emily’s. Here memories swept away, her body weakened just like her sister's. When she was visited by her master, he was devastated. She was tossed between many healers and doctors far and few, but none had seen a disease quite like hers.
When her disease rotted her memory so bad that she could not recall a thing the very next morning; her master read to her every journal she owned, every morning. Just in hopes she would begin to retain…
But nothing stuck. After months, Aria made a decision for herself. Though the disease rendered her weak, unable to perform any sort of hard work, walk too far a distance- she decided she could still write. Therefore, she could still function. And swore to find a man or woman who could heal her memory loss.
The fourth year, present day. Aria knows herself; she knows to fear the night, the moon- when her memories crumble, sapped by her own mind into oblivion. She awakens at dawn, to begin a few hours worth of reading, before she begins every day. Not like herself like the day before, nor the one after- but she hopes to make a name for herself, and will continue to live under her masters’ legacy.

You’re walking around the markets at around noon. There’s a lot of people around you, still gathering their items as they prepare to shut down their many stands. Suddenly you feel a gentle lifting of your coin purse as a child graces you and soon after they take off sprinting. You have been robbed.
Answer:
Ariadni would be surprised and would call out for the child, looking about to see if anyone would come to her aid, but alas, no one but her saw. Ari would weakly begin to jog toward the child, at least wanting to make a compromise for she worked hard for that money and needed it. Aria would eventually get fatigued and stop, realizing the days end as she defeated made her way to the nearest tavern or inn.
You’re heading back to the city through the woods when you hear a whining coming from nearby. Upon further investigation you come across a grey-coloured wolf that appears to have its leg caught in a bear trap. Around it is three smaller lumps of fur, obviously puppies belonging to the trapped mother. Without help, they’ll all die, but wolf skins are quite valuable too, not to mention that the nearby farms suffer quite a bit from the wolf population.
Answer:
Ariadni would look at the wolf an it's pups with guilt, moving over to the wolf with any weapon she had, attempting to free the mother to let nature truly take it's course. She may be selfish, but she considered life to valuable to willingly take so easily, this was just another example of that even if she did just slow down the wolf and her pup's suffering.

Hello! A few things to sort with your application's backstory. Particularly the involvement of illness and plague. It should be recognized that the memory and illness that struck Emily at that time would have indeed been possible to heal through holy magic as oppose to no spells being capable of fixing it, albeit with difficulty unless it was a more specific mental illness; in which case, please note it, as well as any other details to the illness which affects both sisters! Should these illnesses be referencing a previous plague on the server (please correct me if so!), it should be recognized that said plague occurred only two years ago. Also, I would like a bit more information regarding the Pact War and its effect on the group during your character's childhood, a war which ended only eleven years ago.

I've made some minor edits to the story, as for the plague being able to be healed with some difficulty I should've made note that both Emily and Ariadni were only thrown between healers and doctors that knew of natural methods, such as herbalism.

Hospitality is sacred, wits are to be kept about one's self, everything has a place in the world, and death will come- so the best death is a escaped one, and the next best one well-fought. Notably, Havard recognises and worships each of the eight Gods, though each for different reasons.
Havard is generally good-natured, if not necessarily kind-hearted. His mindset is fairly individualistic, and many of his decisions are made with one question in mind: "What do I gain from this?" At the same time, he is not entirely mercenary in these matters, and trust, hospitality, respect, and favors are as important to him as coin. Above all else, he seeks to secure himself and the ones he cares about. Havard believes that violence is the base of the world, and resigns himself to its inevitability: he does not seek confrontations, but will resort to violence even as he regrets it.
-Character biography (At least three paragraphs describing your character's history and experiences): Havard is the son of a veteran of the Pact Wars, and his grandfather and great-grandfather each met their doom in the decade-spanning conflict, along with most of his elder relatives. Havard himself was briefly levied as an archer during the closing months of the wars, and served as a scout during the Fae crisis. He was wounded during his first levy, and does not like to talk that particular incident. Now, with the devastated west rebuilding, Havard cannot help but fear that progress will not be so easy a path as one would hope, and his outlook on the future is grim and hesitant.
Havard's grandfather and father each met a Dwarf in the war- a stout, raven-haired specimen named Hralmar- and by the time of Havard's childhood, Hralmar had become too old to fight, and so, lacking any surviving family, retired to Barkamsted, near the woods in which Havard's family lived. Hralmar served as a grandfather for young Havard, visiting once or twice every month as circumstances allowed, and the boy's name was even given in honor of Hralmar's own son, lost in the massacres years prior. Though he did not realise it, Havard learned quite a bit about Dwarven ways during these visits, and was molded by them more than he knows.
The forest also shaped Havard's young self. His first lessons were in survival- chopping wood, starting fires, building small shelters, and finding food to cook. He also learned to draw and loose a bow, and as he grew, so too did his weapon. By the age of nine he had felled his first deer, with his father at his side- by twelve, his first bear, when it lumbered too close to the hut. At thirteen, he was nearly mauled by a pack of wolves, but survived when his father arrived.
At the age of sixteen, Havard was levied in the final push against the Pact, and the war was won in the same year. He learned to ride a horse during the campaign, and was wounded shortly before the campaign's end, recovering well with little to show for the ordeal- the timing of his dismissal spared him many of the horrors his comrades would face as the aim of the war turned towards eradicating the Cult and defeating its machinations, leaving Havard all at once relieved for his life and regretful for his lost chance to avenge his people. He retreated into the wilderness for a few years after his recovery, living on his own and contemplating the world and his place in it as the ravages of Uldir and Hell threatened the kindgom, unknown to him. His return to civilization and the realisation of what had transpired in those lost years shook him deeply, and gave him further insight into the ways of things.
In the years to come, Havard would be levied again, this time acting as a scout and messenger when the Fae threatened the land. At the conclusion of this second campaign, he returned home to find his father sick of an old wound, and buried the man who had raised him.
Now, some time later, Havard sets out to Falkvard, consumed by wanderlust after years only intermittently sparse with adventure.. perhaps against his better judgement, but with witfulness still upon his mind.

It was too late. As Havard burst through the crowd, he could clearly see that the child had disappeared into the milling bodies. It was another reason not to visit the city- he'd had it coming to him. No pickpockets in the woods, he thought to himself. None that you can't shoot without causing trouble, at least. A dozen other folk had probably lost their coin this week. He would survive. Hopefully the child would survive too, and stop stealing.

A mother. Pups. It was heartless, the thought, the act- but nature was heartless. Havard knew that as well as anyone who lived upon the land, and so he did not flinch as he did quickly what would have been drawn out. He had been fortunate to carry his axe with him this time. Did he regret it, he wondered?
They were three wolves, at least, that would not grow to take livestock or children, and another which would not spawn more. For all four deaths, the sun still rose.

Alice usually has her hair flowing down her back and over her shoulders. When she goes out to work she will always have it tied up with leather straps and sticks to make sure her hair never gets in her face. Her hairs color is Red like a ruby. Alice's face has a few freckles on it that she usually covers up. Her nose has a wider bridge and tip rather than pointy. Her cheeks are thinner while her cheek bones are soft with a nice curve to them, not quite Heroic. Her lips are thin with barley a sign of cupids lip. her chin has a soft roundness to it with her jaw being a little lower than usual. Her skin slightly tanned with her eyes having a soul piercing blue.
Alice stands at 6 foot tall with a straight body figure. Her arms are muscly from chopping wood most of her life. Her hair reaches just past the halfway point of her back. Her breasts are a B cup almost matching the curvature of her shoulders. Alice will usually be wearing her cloth singlet with the leather center. she also wears hide leggings and fur boots often to keep her shoulders warm she will wear her bearskin fur.
-Character personality and traits: Alice has this fear of being neglected and left alone, nothing is worse for her than being alone for a few days. Alice would begin to conjure up enemy after enemy as they all will slowly eat away at her and bring her down. when she is with other she enjoys drinking and getting up to a little bit of mischief. She is happy to joke about most things other than werewolves. Alice does not find werewolves funny or joke about them and has a hunger to kill them like a body needs water. Alice also has a birthmark behind her right ear that she only knows about from her last love. Alice also puts work above most things.

Alice's mother and father where Cult members from the brutal and cold Cult War. They had moved to Barkemsted. Hide out until a greater power come's. Alice found this out from the many of folk that walked through the shop or stayed the night. They often talked about the /Glory days/. Being one of the few cultists that made it out without a slap on the wrist they still looked to once again rise with their order. Still cruel, Alice's parents use too to make fake humans to be her friends and making them seem so real with how they spoke. She figured out a pattern. The people her parents made could not be touched and they usually abused her when she failed to do what her parents required her to do. She was often told that if her father wasn't so drunk on the night of her conception it wouldn't have happened. At the age of 8 a group of Gypsy's had come to town and where fairly nice people. they just wanted small prices at shops. There where three men that entered the shop all wearing bright clothes, the looked around but one of them looked at an old white stone in the shop, it had been there since the shop was opened, mainly because no one wanted to buy a white rock for 1000 gold pieces. after a short time all the men where looking at it and discussing something about it, When Alice got close to see what they where talking about they looked at her and simply stopped. they asked Alice "can we can pay 800 gold for this, is your.." before the man could finish his sentence. Alice's father had yelled from the back of the shop "One thousand five hundred, I forgot to change the price" he walked out with a smirk on his face. The Gypsy man tried to persuade Alice's father to lower the price but her father just got more arrogant and rude. at the end of the conversation Alice's father kicked them out and threaten to call the guards. One of the men simply said "Marked" and left the building. That particular afternoon seemed to last forever for Alice. the shop was so silent and still. After the Gypsy men had left there where no customers and the shop had almost an eerie feel to it. Alice remembered the moon that night, it was so cold as she looked out of her window. Never had the night seemed to long. When she woke it had felt like she had slept for years. As she walked around the house she noticed that no one was home, after heading down stairs she noticed the front door hadn't been unlocked. From that day a lot of people in the area knew Alice as the child who wished away her parents or as the child who sent her to hell. She picked up names like Hell Singer and Devil Child as most of the people taught she had come in touch with the magic her parents had and sent them away. for a few months she lived in a cell in the conspiracy that she had used dark magic to some how kill her own family.
it was not until she was thirteen when she had decided to leave town, she wondered off the road and deep into the woods where she became lost. After spending the night in the woods she could see the sunrise coming over the horizon and knew that was the way to walk, her feet blistered and bloody from the small leather shoes she wore she made her way towards the light. As she walked over a hill she saw not the sun but a lumber mill with torches burning away brightly in the nights darkness. Alice walked towards it before falling asleep in the near by stable. She woke to a boy picking her up "What have we got here? a new slave?" he laughed as he threw her over his shoulder. "Hey let me down" Alice kicked and struggled as she tried to get down. the boy laughed as he held onto her "Look what i found in the stable" he said as he walked over to the mill. Another voice said "It dose not look like a horse or a cow to me" Alice was set down between the two males. the much older man looked over her "Do you know who this is?" he said to the boy that carried her. "Not a clue" the boy replied. The man smiled at the girl "My name is Hiefen, have you got one girl, or should i keep calling you girl?"
"Alice" she said quickly not wanting to have much to do with these people. "Well Alice, since you have slept in my stable without my permission you are going to have to work so you can repay your dept, i think a week sounds like enough" looked at the boy and said "Ethos, can you make sure she dose not leave before the end of the week?" "It would be a challenge i would enjoy" he smiled. "And if she escapes come tell me so i can set the dogs on her" Hiefen gave one last smile before he headed back to work. Ethos looked at Alice "It's not that bad here, i wouldn't be surprised if you stayed longer" and that she did. Alice spent years there working for Hiefen and enjoyed most of it, she even grew fond to Ethos, and he to her.
Alice reached 18 when Heifen proposed to her with a necklace he had personally carved into a detailed face. He told her that even through death his heart would be hers just as much as this necklace belongs to her. She accepted the gift and they where to be wed by the end of the year. they worked on building a house not far from the lumber mill where they first met. The house was almost complete and the wedding only a few weeks to go the excitement was starting to kick in. Alice and Ethos where walking back to the main house from making love in the woods. as Ethos was puting his belt back on he looked to Alice "Im so happy you turned up in our stable that morning, i dont know what i would have done if you didn't" Alice smiled at him before replying with "You could have always married a tree"
He smiled widely "They would bark at me too much" She couldn't get the smile off her face before giving him a slight push. he quickly put his arm around her back as he pulled her close to him. "its going to take more than that to get me away from you" as he went in for a kiss a large fury hand tore him away from her. Alice pulled to the ground by the force of him being pulled away from her. A large beast begun sinking its teeth into Ethos's neck. Alice saw Ethos's hatchet torn from belt laying on the ground. She scampered to grab it before she wedged it deep into the beasts back. It threw her back as it turned and ran into the woods howling. "Ethos!" Alice quickly made her way over to him before looking at his neck. He was unable to speak as blood filled his throat, he held her necklace before the life faded from his body. Alice hit the tree as she screamed, it was answered by a Howl. it was time to leave. Alice gave Ethos one last kiss. before she ran through the woods faster than she had ever ran before. She could hear the rustle in the trees of the beasts rapidly gaining on her before they gone in front of her. She stopped as she heard screams coming from the mill. She sat in the forest and waited for her death, along time after the the screams stopped she was found by the beasts. The three beasts looked at her as they circled her. "I Hate You All" She whimpered as she looked at the three. She stood up "I Will Kill All Of You!!!!" She screamed at them as she stood up, the next thing she knew they where gone. The moon had left and the sun had taken its place before she returned to Ethos, He was no where to be seen. The mill was a ghostly as blood was splatted everywhere but no bodies where to be seen. She saw nothing of worth other than Ethos's Long sword and felt hes spirit had left it for her to avenge his death. With tales of the hunters guild killing all sorts of beasts she knew that was the best place to start on her road of vengeance.

I'd watch the child run off and before chasing them i'd think back to my child hood and how rough it was. "He probably needs it more than i do". I would sigh before checking how much they had stolen. (if they had stolen quite a bit) "I'll run into him again, He can owe me something" i would keep a closer eye out as i walked down the street continuing my journey to an Inn.
You’re heading back to the city through the woods when you hear a whining coming from nearby. Upon further investigation you come across a grey-coloured wolf that appears to have its leg caught in a bear trap. Around it is three smaller lumps of fur, obviously puppies belonging to the trapped mother. Without help, they’ll all die, but wolf skins are quite valuable too, not to mention that the nearby farms suffer quite a bit from the wolf population.
As Alice looked to the wolves whining she would watch them for a bit and think on what to do. Out of the silence in the late night air people near by would hear the ringing of an unsheathed sword. Alice would attempt swing her sword into the neck of the mother wolf. Not being very good with a sword she would only break into the spine before turning to the pups swinging away to kill the rest of them. After all of them where dead or routed she would leave the mess for the person who left the trap.

Born 8 years after the Fall of Silivrenmîr
The village my character was born in was attacked by Orcs and both me and my mother escaped but my father stayed behind to hold them back to give us time to escape. So with no other place to go to my mother and me along with other survivors headed to Barkamsted and the journey seemed bleak but my mother promised herself to make it through. It took 4 months to get there and in those 4 months my mother and the others she was with struggled with tasks of finding food, shelter, and avoiding enemies. Having most of her money being left behind in the village she knew it would not be easy to find a new home. Luckily a nice human fabric maker named Shea Hesterf took her in and helped her get back on her feet. Shea said that my mother reminded her of her daughter that was sadly taken in the war as well as her granddaughter.
Four years later Meira was a seller of animal meats and skins and made a decent living but as the war raged and Barkamsted under attack from the Pact going out to hunt and collect food became more and more of a difficult thing to do, soon she could not go out at all. Though times were tough and the fear of the war shadowed over her, she continued to try her hardest to give her daughter a good life.
During this time Shearah was growing up and learning the ways of the world and it was difficult for her because many people would bully her and saw her as “unworthy” of being social with, as she was a ash-elf, calling her “Sootskin”. She only had one friend and that was a stuffed wolf named Kailu that her mother had bought her when she was five years old. As a result of the torment she became cold and heartless towards other High elves and Dark elves except her mother and her father.
Since her mother was a hunter she worshipped perities and taught her daughter to worship him as well. As she grew older her mother would tell stories about her father and how they met and when she was old enough to understand her mother told her about what happened to her father. One day her mother received a letter from an anonymous sender telling her that her husband was alive and that he loves them but cannot return to them for a unknown reason. My mother was shocked as she recognized the handwriting as her beloved. With this new information Shearah decided to go and look for her father promising her mother to bring him back.
My character began to train in combat with the help of a retired knight and learned weapon and hunting skills from her mother in order to be ready for when the time came when she would leave her mother in search for her father (started training in combat when she was 26 years old). It took many years but she had finally gained the abilities to protect herself and go out into the real world on her own. Though she may not be a master or expert at it, she was trained hand to hand combat making her capable of some self defense. But her strongest asset would be her hunting skills.
Once gaining the appropriate age where she could feel confident being on her own, Shearah went out into the world to fulfill the promise she made to her mother. Not knowing where to start, and being all too familiar with Barakamsted, she goes to the city of Falkvard where her journey would begin.

Normally she would let this slide but with that being all the money she had for the week she couldn't take it anymore. “ Guard! “ she shouted in a cold tone of voice and having got the guards attention she proceeded to tell him what happened. “ Did you by any chance see the Little girl that took off running just a moment ago? “ she asked in a hurry. “ yes i did and by the look on your face i’d guess she stole from you correct? “ the guard answered almost boredly. “ Yes she did, would you mind getting my money back please, i also do not wish for the girl to be charged if you can do so. “ although what the child did was wrong she seemed to young to be put in prison for something as small as stealing a purse. “ alright then, please wait here till i return “ the guard said as he rushed after the girl leaving the elf alone to chase after the child. “ well this might take a while “ she sighed sitting on the side of the stone road and started to wait for the guard to return.

She’d look at the wolves with sad look. From the look of the wound on the mother wolf’s leg it seemed to be deep and she knew if she did nothing the animal would die suffering along with its pups. She carefully approached the wolf as not to startle it but to make it aware of her presence. “That looks like a pretty nasty wound you got there.” she spoke in a quiet tone. The wolf growled in a threatening way and tried to back away. “Ok, ok i can see that you’re unsure of me but...” she pulled out a piece of deer meat from her backpack, “You need my help and so do your pups.” she spoke in a low tone as she tossed a meat near the wolf in hope to get it to trust her. The wolf sniffed the meat and slowly started to eat it, it then looked at her with trusting but awareful look before putting it’s head down as a way of saying “You can help but don’t try anything funny.”. She slowly got closer to the wolf and pulled out a bandage, “Alright let's fix you up.”

Daredevil- Me’sira is a bit of a daredevil herself. She can obide by the rules without any sign of fear on her face. She has quite a mouth as well which can often get her in trouble. She always chooses the riskier path instead of the safe one which always worries others.
Sarcastic- Like stated above, she has quite a mouth. Often when she is annoyed, she can get very sarcastic and not mean anything she says seriously. Me’sira often thinks it is hilarious but usually she is sarcastic to get you angry and leave her alone.
Alone- Speaking of leaving her alone... Me’sira has been alone inside her whole life. She only wants people to leave her alone because it is what she is used to. She is waiting for the one person to refuse to leave her alone. Her famous line is "I'm fine. Really." She wants at least one guy to say, "No, you're not."
Determined- Never has anyone seen or witnessed Me’sira giving up. She is very determined in whatever she is doing and will not give up. She finds that giving up is like saying "I can't do this. I know I'm going to fail." But she is the total opposite. She will succeed because she tries.
Overprotective- When she finds herself attached to someone she won't let go. She will do anything and everything to protect them...Even if it means being with them 24/7. She will seem so overprotective that it can get annoying. She just would need someone to speak up and say "Hey, back off." And she will.
Intelligent- Many people may not see it, but she is actualy very intelligent. She has figured out many acts as a kit and she still does as an adult. That's why if she says something out of the blue, you should listen to her. Although, she might keep it in because many ignore her all the time.
Laid Back- Me’sira doesn't get upset about too many things, unless it is very very serious. Other than that, she is pretty chill and laid back. She will choose to listen to your reasonings and will often understand. Though she does not expect the same understanding towards her.
Flirty- Me’sira is not all that about love but she still flirts for fun. But let me warn you, it is rare that she actually flirts good. Most of her flirting is terrible and she can't help it. And sometimes it gets to the point where she is basically inulting you.

Her father shook his head, “I thought we would be free from this fate if we came here. Seems we can’t escape destiny... I’m sorry I can’t protect you, but I can protect Me’Sira.” Her mother looked at the child “Don’t worry about me. You will be okay even without me. This land is more prosperous than Elimar, your homeland. I beg of you to not return for sickness ravages the land. I have fallen, and you will to if you return. Now go! It’s contagious.”
This was the last thing Me'Sira had heard of her mom. Soon after she had moved to a small town with her father, The Pact had moved in, destroying everything. Her father, Se’Hun, was killed in the process. She actually didn’t learn this until a few days later, as her father had told her to hide in the woods. She was only nine when this happened.
Six years later, she was swashbuckling with a band of pirates. She had been found by a Elvish friend of her father at 14. When she had told her story to him, he took her under his wing, teaching her how to fend for herself. She had no memory of her father and assumed she had never had one. “You’re a fine captain Sira! She eventually cornered the small thing and put a hand on her shoulder, trapping her to the wall. “Give it back..... NOW!” She said, quite enjoying this. The little girl handed it back, intimidated. Me’sira released her and walked away, flicking her tail in satisfaction.

She looked at the helpless mother and her pups and sighed, "Its been an honor serving you, friend..." She took her dagger and swiftly ended the she wolf's life, taking care to make it quick as possible. She picked up the pups and set them aside, then freed the body of the mother from the trap. She covered it with leaves as a respect filled vigil. Me'Sira went to walk away when she remembered the pups. Setting them in her belt, she went to the village to see what she could fetch for them. (Pun intended....)

Well done on this application! It holds up to the server lore very well, though there are a few rather small tweaks that you will need to make. First of these, your definition of powergaming is missing another crucial part that pertains to interacting with other characters so please do expand on this.
Another thing to address is the timeline. Currently, it has been 11 years since the wars ended, so this would make Havard 16 rather than 19 when the final push against the Pact occurred. I also found that while you mentioned him serving a bit in the conflict with the Pact, you left out any mention of the following conflict with the true orchestrators of the war: the cult. Did he have any chance at all to fight against demons that poured out of the opened hellgates, or had Havard still been injured during that time?
I would also say it is a bit curious that Havard has no mentioned last name. Is there any specific reason for that? If not, it would do you well to include it.

As for Havard's surname, I suppose his parents/grandparents/etc into ancestory didn't feel one was needed! An insignificant family of illiterate peasant foresters of no special note? Check. A human son with an already relatively distinctive Dwarven name? Check. If Havard were required to give some sort of surname, he'd probably just answer "Havard, son of
redacted." It's much easier for the few folk he deals with to say "Aye, that's Havard the Woodsman. He looks like a woodsman. Talks like one. Is one, I think. Says he is. Lives in a hut at the edge of the woods. He's a man, I think. Says he is. Has a beard."If it's important for him to have a surname in the setting- well, I'm sure he'll catch on soon, and make one up.

I'm sorry to say this, but your application is far too underwhelming and will require much more to be accepted.
First to address, your definitions for powergaming and metagaming will need to be expanded to more clearly convey what they mean on our server.
As for Astaroth himself, there's very little written in his character background, nevermind the fact that it completely lacks any inclusion of Saphriel's lore. As many characters know, the Pact War had a great effect on the realm and desecrated practically every village and town to the point where Barkamsted became the last safe place for Alliance races. The war itself lasted about 70 years and has ended only a mere 11 years ago IC when the Alliance and the Pact joined together to stop a greater force: the cult that orchestrated it all. Thus, it is crucial for your character's backstory to make mention of this with how they survived through this period. I would recommend a whole rework of the biography, though if you are to keep the same basis you have now, I would also advice you to tell us more about why Astaroth was bullied, how he came to think he was wrong for fighting back, why thugs burned down the farm, etc.
While you're at it as well, it should be good to see you flesh out more on Astaroth's description and personality. Such things like the color of his hair and eyes other than just dark, his exact height, style of clothing, mannerisms, values he lives by in this supposed 'righteous moral code', and many more things can add a lot more to his character.
Any computer that can run Minecraft should be able to play on the server. We honestly don't have any sort of standard or recommendation for PC specs and the like, but there are some areas of the server that can significantly drop in FPS especially with a high-res resource pack. What we do recommend is the use of Optifine, which will help optimize your Minecraft client to run better.
