-Do you have any prior roleplay-related experience, if so could you give an example?
I've never tried Minecraft related. but you never know how good you are before trying it. Only roleplay I've done is on a game called GMOD on the gamemode DarkRP, with the name (Cloudgaming)
Power-Gaming is when you take whatever ability you want and destroy Your enemy before they have a chance of killing you. You can also use a normal bow and tell the opponent that you killed him with a arrow shot.
Meta-Gaming or META is like finding up a game in the server who has nothing to do with the game or roleplaying. Like starting a Minigame about bowling. Or starting a building competition.
Average size with Short Brown hair. Face is pale, Blue eyes, no scars. Medium sized ears and a feeble mind.
Wears a a green shirt with long arms, Green pants going all the way down the legs with a brown belt and shoes.
Wears a bow in any case of danger. (never described myself before)
-Character personality and traits:
Nice and understanding elf, Loves the nature around himself and helps any animal or person in need, whatever the race. Do not like forest fires, but is still fascinated by fire itself. Doesn't like being a leader, but like protecting and helping. Always takes a bow with him for hunting or for defensive purposes. Nice guy to hang around with but can be boring, loves nighttime more then daytime. Has an understanding of building and likes to do it on his spare time.
-Character biography (At least three paragraphs describing your character's history and experiences):
Col'dir lived a life of any other, but in a village far away from the main towns. Where he as young had a life of his own with his parents, Until the day where the Moon sat still in the night sky, and only clouds appeared to fill the gap. And so, a lighting spired down the night and hit the outside borders of the treeline, blocking anyone from escaping. Col'dir's parents Hid the fellow in a compartment in their house, for as if they where to die, atleast their son could still live and prosper.
He heard his parents scream from pain when the fire spread as far as inside, No way out, only one way in. When the fire dispersed, Col'dir found himself in a burned out house, a village who one time was filled with happiness was at that moment filled with dust and smoke. So he ran away from what was his home to something even greater, life itself.
After some years, he built himself a house up in the tree line made out of leaves, wood and rock, atleast he learned something from his fathers work. He started enjoying building, he wasn't a great builder like his father, but he still enjoyed it. At the day he was gathering food, at evening, he was building and at night training his archery skills. He couldn't go back, there was nothing to go back to, Only to go forward and find his destiny.
-Please give us a short RP response to these two scenarios. (At least one paragraph for each.)
You’re walking around the markets at around noon. There’s a lot of people around you, still gathering their items as they prepare to shut down their many stands. Suddenly you feel a gentle lifting of your coin purse as a child graces you and soon after they take off sprinting. You have been robbed.
Answer:
As a elf, you must know your surroundings, I would easily find a way to get past him, using what I have learned from the market as my advantage, then not much time later, I would catch up and stop the child from escaping. But even though he stole from me, I would take it back, but give some to the child. I do not require money to survive, Only my mind and my skills.
You’re heading back to the city through the woods when you hear a whining coming from nearby. Upon further investigation you come across a grey-coloured wolf that appears to have its leg caught in a bear trap. Around it is three smaller lumps of fur, obviously puppies belonging to the trapped mother. Without help, they’ll all die, but wolf skins are quite valuable too, not to mention that the nearby farms suffer quite a bit from the wolf population.
Answer:
I would help the wolf by first releasing her, telling her to relax then putting one of my herbs mixtures on the wound and bandage it with leaves and grass for it to slowly heal (even if I don't get this ingame, its still a RP story). If the wolf had lost to much blood, I would release her pain by cutting her throat, stopping all pain and torture. The pups where to then be sent to the nearest village or to someone who can take care of the pups so that they can once still live and not die in vain.
Only fill out if you want your character to have magic capabilities. If you do not fill this out then your character will be incapable of performing any form of magic. Also note that it will take significant in character practice and experience to become any form of proficient in magic.
-Describe to us why you wish for your character to have magical capabilities:
There are many ways I can use it, I would use it to help understand fire more then I do now, and learn to control it. to learn from it, to achieve more. I would use it for my race, I wouldn't use it for evil, only for good.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Please give an example in your own words describing the limitations placed upon those who use magic:
-Please give a simple description of the magic system in your own words:
Magic is a great power, that most mortals wouldn't understand. To use magic, one must teach themselves the essence of life and death, One cannot control the powers unless their body is one with the magic itself, If one where to control without training, nor discipline. The person, would then, Pass out or worse...Die. It takes a long time until the apprentice becomes a wizard. When the time comes, the player has a choice. either convert into evil, or good. If you cannot concentrate, you cannot use it.
The artifact needs its players power, It will grow the more the person uses it. When the player is ready, he will send his magic into the artifact, then send it to their target or object of choosing. Each artifact has its own power.
Fire
Ice
Water
Earth
Air
Electric
These elementals are the key of the magic, to use the magic, one must be born with it, otherwise its unlikely that the user, can control it or even use it for their own purpose.
A magic artifact can be fragile, so much, as if the user where to channel his magic into it, it might explode, hurting everyone around the user.
The artifacts power do not concern the users strength, but the artifact itself.
One cannot use the artifact the moment they get it to summon evil itself upon their enemies, they must train, achieve the skill they want and need before any of these even has a chance to be achieved in life.
-You are given a very basic trinket of fire, you haven't had much practice with magic yet, but you will try your best. Describe some things you could/would do with this trinket:
With the trinket, I would first concentrate on the basics, starting a campfire, I would use the magic abilities for survival and defensive ways. After the basics are completed, I would start concentrating on starting torches from afar, then to extinguish.
What I would do with it, is to Help the forest by putting out fires, I would save others who need the help. I would start my journey to become a great wizard and to not die in the progress.
Might be more things, but if I get accepted into the region, I need to focus on the basics, not focus on unlimited power and skills.
Yviane-unlike her two older brother- inherited the dark brown hair of her father, that falls to her hips in a sloppy bunch of braids with feathers weaving in and out of her hair. Shes tall at about 5'11 and has a curvy full figure. Her eyes are a light crystal blue with long dark eyelashes. She wears a long grey dress and tends to walk around barefoot. Her skin is flushed pale regardless of the hours spent out door.
-Character personality and traits:
Yviane Tends to keep to her self. She doesn't speak unless spoken to. She stays in the shadows of her brother. She is gentle and caring but if crossed a fiery temper lashes out. She has a passion for nature and the wild around her. She is a nurturing soul and wont harm anyone even if she was under the position of being harmed. You can often find her reading under a tree. Yviane is timid around people when her brothers aren't around. Yviane is smart and swift.
-Character biography:
She grew up simple life with her parents and and two brothers. Her mother taught her how to grow and nurture plants of all kinds. She was always nervous around people and when her brothers went into town she stayed home or wandered into the woods. She liked being alone and being alone suited her. She would spend much of her time growing up reading hours upon hours underneath her favorite tall oak near the house.
Growing up Yvaine always felt that she was in the shadows of her two older brothers, Cain and Lucian. Upon one particular event her father had told Lucian and herself that if they could sneak up on Cain with a stick they could hit him. Ready to step out of the shadows of her brother she attempted many times upon one of with she hit him right on the mouth, permanently scarring his lip for life.Even though she never got out from their shadows everytime she sees it she secretly smirks to herself in pride.
When she was 16 her brother Cain came home from fighting a goblin raid in town with the unbearable news that their beloved mother had passed away during the fight. Her mother had been Yvianes teacher and her rock. She often spent many days sitting at her mothers grave singing to her. Yvaine felt as though she wasnt good enough constantly she doubted herself. She just wished her father would pay as much attention to her as he did her brothers. Yet she kept up her work with caring for them and never said a word about it. Gone were the days of sitting under trees and reading. Gone were the days of happy smiles at the dinner table.
Soon after this it became apparent that no one was happy. Her father swiftly returned to war against the Goblins leaving the three of them to fend for themselves. Cain spoke up about leaving and they did. They headed off to a larger city for a new life.

Answer:
Yvaine, being they kind soul she is, would simply allow they child to go. She would rather the child have it since she can always make more. Clearly there is a reason for the young child to steal. However she would alert people of the child so that they can keep an eye out for him in case he returns for their coins.
You’re heading back to the city through the woods when you hear a whining coming from nearby. Answer:
Yvaine would pry open the trap best she could. After prying it open and releasing the wolf she would attempt to tend to the wounds. If the wolf attempts to attack her she would simply bring it food and water and watch from nearby to make she it is alright and thepuppies are fine. If the mother were to die she sell the pelt and raise the pups until they could fend on their own and then she would release them into their natural habitat.
-Skype name (Optional, for server chat): Will share in PM, its a security risk to accept random contact requests
-Do you have any prior roleplay-related experience, if so could you give an example? I've roleplayed since the late 90's but I've had recent experience on a MC server that has a steampunk theme. I am at, my worst, Sen-literate but I can spin a good yarn and post that easily exceeds the character limit of Minecraft chat. I uh, have a problem with talking though, once I start i just don't stop~!
-Define Power-gaming in your own words: Forcing actions, words, and injury on another character against their will or the will of their creator and giving oneself unlimited or excessive power and knowledge through meta gaming

----IC Info---- -Character name: Valerie Kyrie
-Character race: Half High Elf
-Character age: 27
-Character Occupation (optional, note you still must talk to the lord about loaning or purchasing any stall/shop for your character if he/she would have one. Also be sure to give previous applications a glance before deciding your job, we don't need 5 bartenders!):
Healer, though through observation she knows tidbits about other occupations.
-Character description(At least one to two paragraphs describing your character’s visual appearance.): Valerie stands at a stunning 6' 11" which she uses to her advantage when dealing with unruly and stubborn patients who think they can leave before they are treated. Being so tall she is also easily recognized which can work to her disadvantage when around some of her full blooded kin who often take issue with her mixed heritage. She will usually wear light colored clothing But will often use a gray cloak to travel the woods to hide her face and hair..
An accident as a child left her partially blind and she grew up using her ears to 'see' to compensate for the loss of vision. Weither by luck or miracle the damage was contained to one eye and it did not burst or change color after the poisoned plant stem struck it though it has left it's mark in other ways. She can no longer see how far she is from people or objects and will often brush against or run into both equally until she gains a proper spacial awareness of the room. As such, if Valerie notices something delicate in a space she's unfamiliar with she will avoid it as much as possible and finds catching any thrown or dropped item a noteworthy personal achievement.
-Character personality and traits (At least one to two paragraphs describing their personality traits and/or quirks.): having been raised by her human father, she is a fairly nice and easy going woman who tries to behave as an adult though on occasion, when she believes herself to be alone, she will act like the juvenile she is. At one point coaxing timid creatures to her in the forest with a bit of food and proclaiming herself their queen. Valerie will rarely raise a hand to strike anyone and prefers to come to an agreement with others rather than to argue though when it comes to
a head she grow frustrated and break away before uttering words that she will regret in the future.
If her anger is truly won she will leave caustic words in her wake.
-Character biography (At least three paragraphs describing your character's history and experiences): Valerie was born inside Barkamsted and spent her early years as a human child would, scrambling over the town for any forgotten coin and looking at all that could be seen before she discovered the woods. The trees called to her and the girl took to climbing them, sometimes even better than human boys who hurled insults at her for showing off or sometimes, being an elf. She ignored them and one day she found old trees covered in brilliantly green vines. having grown use to ignoring the voices that called ot her when she climbed Valerie scaled the tree with help from the vines and perched on a branch as the wind picked up.
The vines moved and she didn't realize she was in danger until she was struck in the face and her skin felt as though it were on fire. She fell from her perch and lay there in a broken heap until her father ran over thanks to a passing crone who told him of his daughters misfortune. The best doctors worked to save the girls eye and despite their efforts she never regained the vision she had though her mother often thanked Aderoth for even the blessing of partial sight.
As she grew, so did her interest in artifacts and the followers of Bothimir for their use of magic. she studied in secret as much as she could, hoping that magic would have the cure medicine did not. She learned of elements and creatures but nowhere could she find a way to reverse an old poisoned wound. it became an obsession for years after her mother was poisoned by the extract of a deadly plant that had been slipped into a wine offering.
Valerie spends her time healing other and studying magic and plants to find the best way to prevent and treat poison and tho mend the broken bodies of others. for surviving her brush with poison it is the least she can do, and maybe it will even keep others from suffering the horrible bleeding death of her mother.
-Please give us a short RP response to these two scenarios. (At least one paragraph for each.) You’re walking around the markets at around noon. There’s a lot of people around you, still gathering their items as they prepare to shut down their many stands. Suddenly you feel a gentle lifting of your coin purse as a child graces you and soon after they take off sprinting. You have been robbed.
"By the love of..."
Val eerie turns and sprints after the child, occasionally bumping a few merchants and townsfolk alike though by the sound of the nearby Bard he finds the situation amusing enough to sing about. She uses her height and linger legs to her advantage and catches up only to stumble, tumble and catch the thieving child by the back of his coat. Before the urchin can escape by shedding the fabric she reels the child in and holds him fast in both arms as though she were trying to merely hug the child to avoid suspicious before speaking in a low voice.
"Hello little thief, you know how this ends. Through Guards or returning empty handed for a beating you are caught and in trouble. But today you are lucky, come to my home and work off your attempt at stealing by learning the ways of healing you will be fed and who knows. you may even get to earn more coin than you would have had with my purse this day if you learn well."
Valerie looks the leg over from a distance before walking over and grabbing a sturdy stick to nudge the puppies aside. one of the bundles of fur bolted while the others hid behind their mother.
"You poor thing, Left behind by your pack for not being able to break free."
Valerie used the mothers distrust and the stout branch to keep the wolf from biting as she worked the trap open and she watched as the wolf limped off with the two puppies that had followed, The pelt would be missed by whoever set the trap and Farmers might be distraught that a lame wolf may pick off their livestock but the mother would be more suspicious of these woods and would teach that to her puppies. well most of her puppies. The elf used her cloak to catch the last one as it cried and quickly stuffed a chunk of cooked meat in its mouth, this one she could train to search out the elusive plants she needed for healing and to warn of danger.
"Come on, If you can survive the City, you are going to be a wonderful addition to the cause"
-Describe to us why you wish for your character to have magical capabilities: As an elven descendent she would have potential for magic and as a follower of Bothimir and having being privy to horror of Poisons cleverly hidden in plain sight, Valerie would be driven to take any and all opportunities to improve perhaps even develop ways to stop poison in its tracks. Just because you aren't ready to stop an infection or withering curse is no excuse, if the enemy can throw it at you, you better be ready to mend and defend.
-Please give an example in your own words describing the limitations placed upon those who use magic: since she focuses on Healing which is occasionally demanding and requires focus her self teaching and training wouldn't lend itself well to combat magic or combat in general. though it could be argued that such an intimate knowledge of the body could be used to kill as well as heal. Subtle magic like veils would be easier for her to learn but that's not to say she couldn't with more effort than is perhaps needed to light an arrows head on fire to send into the shoulder of an opponent.
-Please give a simple description of the magic system in your own words: Magic is a tool to help make things easier though it is by no means the answer to all problems. Waving a trinket and casting a spell can only take you so far if you lack the proper understanding of how the world works or that by using magic carelessly you can do more harm than good. especially if you take away the lively hood of those that have no other way to sustain themselves. Magic is a gift to use responsibility, not taken advantage of.
-You are given a very basic trinket of fire, you haven't had much practice with magic yet, but you will try your best. Describe some things you could/would do with this trinket: Fire is both a force of creation and destruction at the will of it's user. the key to any fire magic is understanding the raw force and to mold it to your will and watch to be sure it does not run wild. wither it's a fire wall to stop a horde or s a simple ember to light a torch, Fire is about discipline and experience. Every burn earned in learning is a chance to improve.
An odd character for sure, but nothing actually wrong with it. I'll send you a Skype request to add you to the server group, and we look forward to seeing you on the server!

-Character name: Nihil Anderson
-Character race: Homo-Sapien
-Character age: 23
-Character Occupation (optional, note you still must talk to the lord about loaning or purchasing any stall/shop for your character if he/she would have one. Also be sure to give previous applications a glance before deciding your job, we don't need 5 bartenders!):Nihil's training expertise has led him to a life in the shadows as he would best fit as a spy, or killer
-Character description(At least one to two paragraphs describing your character’s visual appearance.):Nihil would stand at 6'3 and 170 lbs. He would have brown hair and blue eyes. Nihil would have a cowl, mask and hood to keep his face covered, along with a lightweight vest, robe, and other apparel to best keep his identity well hidden amongst others. His light apparel would also allow agility and flexibility. However the downfall wouldn't allow him to use heavy armours as effectively and his light clothing being not effective at reducing damage.
-Character personality and traits (At least one to two paragraphs describing their personality traits and/or quirks.): Nihil at a young age, had his eye caught by fire at a young age, and even though he likes to remain incognito the pyromaniac inside him gives him great passion in arson and explosions. Nihil can be seen as a sociopath as he is very deceiving and will lie willingly to save his hide. However even through the hidden identity, Nihil lets very few people into his life as he doesn't trust many. Along with those he lets in his life he has many twisted tales as living his life in the shadows has made for rather bloody and varying scenes.
-Character biography (At least three paragraphs describing your character's history and experiences): At a young age Nihil's mother had died leaving just Nihil's father to care for him. By the age of 6 Nihil's father had been murdered in cold blood after being falsely accused of killing their mother. This left the boy alone in the streets to survive on his own. This however lasted only days as a 6 year old can't very well take care of himself and a man by the name of Henry accepted him as his child. Henry who had also been a homeless man on the streets lived a very harsh life of suspected arson, and murder. The soon adopted boy had finally a guardian, who may not have been in an acceptable guardian still provided support for the boy. Henry had to teach the boy something in life and decided he did what he could as he lived a life in the shadows. By 13 years of age, Nihil and Henry were extorting the change, and small treasures from peoples pockets.
This of course could only last so long, as Henry fell ill. He coughed up blood and couldn't very well push himself to do the things in life they once did to make a living. At that point Henry requested the boy take his life as an ill pack leader can no longer lead. Nihil refused and attempted to bring his teacher's health back to normal, unfortunately this had failed. Nihil was caught pocketing herbs, and medicine, and was kicked out of the town. Henry felt miserable for causing the boy who had been punished because he had tried saving his teacher to be forced from town. Henry's illness soon fell to become critical and the boy had been forced to put him out of his misery. Soon after the boy was enraged and went into the town again with a torch in hand, he burned the clinic of the village he was exiled from and soon left to search for a better life with a new life of his creation.

Nihil would soon run amongst the crowd looking for the children who had robbed him. Once catching up and noticing the children he'd monitor if they had been of poor low-class or richer high-class. Those who are poor or homeless would have hit a soft point to Nihil, as he'd feel more generous. He'd apprehend them soon not wanting them living a life as he does and let them take a small portion of change to buy themselves food if needed. However children who aren't in need or are arrogant to the lifestyle of the hardworking, he'd likely pocket the money back or threaten the children with the use of authority such as the guards.
You’re heading back to the city through the woods when you hear a whining coming from nearby. As Nihil had to learn a way of killing those who were already set to die because of illness, he'd benefit those who were suffering from the wolf population by killing it. If he thought the pups were capable of survival with his help then he'd allow them to survive so he could care for them, however if not he'd be forced to have to take their lives too as he would prefer to raise them on his own. After killing the mother and helping the farmers he'd likely show the farmers the proof of the death and soon sell the hide to afford caring for additional pups if nobody was willing to take them on their own.
Correct me if im wrong, but You do know, you cant become a healer right? As far as I know, you can only start with a standard job, A healer is like asking to be a wizard or a mage. its not WoW, you cant choose a class, Only the race, and a Job. then you go from there, and maybe have a chance to follow ur path to becoming a healer, but as the rules state, you cant start as it. Any magic you start with is fire.

Fishing, playing guitar, training and of course drinking. His main job will be protecting the town.
-Character description(At least one to two paragraphs describing your character’s visual appearance.):
A tall man, 5'11 with brown hair and eyes. Wears a green tunic with steel plates on his right arm (Will be added in the bio). Looks very handful and well built. Few scars are on his chest from a war. He's one to easily blend in with other humans. He has short hair and dislike any facial hair.
-Character personality and traits (At least one to two paragraphs describing their personality traits and/or quirks.):
He's a really strange man. Everything depends on the situation. In a fight he'll be calm and careful, but outside a fight he's a natural leader and drinker. He enjoys a bloody fight just like he enjoys fishing and playing guitar in peace. It is hard to put a single word to describe him. He's a man that will always think about the others before himself, but not to the point of killing himself for a single soul. If he had a choice over his death, it'd be in a battle... So he can die in peace and fish for eternity. Hunted by the past, he seeks peace and war like a wandering soul in the abyss.
-Character biography (At least three paragraphs describing your character's history and experiences):
Merek was born in a noble family, North of the biggest city humans ever built in the snowy lands. His father was a recognized Knight that wiped out an entire Goblin tribe with his army. Even to this day, Merek still wonders how his father did it. Was it magic? Was it luck? Was it Uldir that blessed his father? He'd never know, his father was killed when he was young. He heard stories that it might've been a plot for another knight to rise... But he was too young to do anything or even understand the situation. His mother was the daughter of a land lord, near their city. The marriage was organized so both land could merge one day. He had many facial traits of his father and yet a personality like his mother. After the death of his father, Merek felt the need to train and become the man his father was. Of course, growing in a castle and wishing to be a knight was highly honored by everyone. Knighthood wasn't a title everyone could have up there. Years of training, learning and staying inside left him weak of the real world. It changed when the sun dissapeared under a blizzard that lasted four months. Citizen were turning mad as each day passed. Familiies forced to eat their deads, dogs attacking anything in sight. Merek saw it all, from above in the castle. When they came at the castle's doors, the king ordered them to be killed. There was no food for the poor, that's how it was. The knighthood was forced to open the gates of a slaughter. Merek wasn't a knight when it happened, but the king needed men as fast as he could so he promoted him to a knight to achieve the slaughter. In his mind, Merek wouldn't survive such fight... but he did. The fight wasn't pretty. All the citizen had were pitchforks and shovels. Even with their heavy armor, the knighthood fell. The citizens went inside the castle and killed everyone, including the king. Merek made it out alive by hidding under a pile of bodies. He passed three days with the dead. The fourth day he couldn't take it anymore, he had to come out and face his faith. At first he was ready for his faith, but upon digging out the pile of bodies, he found a strenght he didn't knew he had. Maybe it was Uldir whispering him to live because he had duties to do or maybe it was simply the stench of the rotting bodies and the lack of water. Either way, when he came out he killed two citizen that were feeding on the noble's corpse. He left the central room and went to the king's room, where the last bit of food were stacked. Of course, nothing was left but the old king in his shinny silver armor. The armor was said to be cursed with a mad demon, which is why the citizens didn't take it. Something in Merek told him he needed that shoulder plate in order to survive. So he did, he took the king's right armor plate. After leaving the ruins of a city he once called home, he gave up his knighthood (not like there was much left of it) and wandered the land.
For three years he explored the world. He always came back to a farm, where "Grandma" took him in when he needed help. She gave him food everytime he came back at her farm. She was old and good. A half-elf lived there with her. Her name was Ayla, everytime he came back she took him in and forced him to help the dwarf that lived with them. Ayla was a *****, but Merek had to mine with that small woman in order to get some food for his journey. Both of them were working for "Grandma", that's how they called her.A year or two passed and one day, when Merek was back from exploring for four weeks no one was there at the farm. He felt like something bad happened and he walked a mile to ask their neighbor what happened. They said that "Grandma" died and both of them left as the landlord reclaimed their land. They left for a big city, called Barkamsted. Merek went off to find them, as they were the closest thing to a family he had left.
Merek runs after the thief, a kid can't run for that long can it?
(If he catches the kid) After running for a good 20 minutes, he catches the kid, exhausted he grabs the kid by the collar and lift him up. He takes back what was his and sets the kid down. He gives the kid a speech on why stealing is bad but necessary to survive. He'd give the kid a coin and tell him that if he catches him again he'd sent him to jail or even worse.
(If he doesn't catch the kid) After running for a long time, the kid finally wins and goes away with his coins. He then heads back to the market, asking questions around. Of course people there know about thieves. It isn't good for business and it never helps if they don't get caught. After gathering information from the merchants, he'd leave and come back the next day. Thieves usually tend to stay at the same place if they're stupid and kids aren't that smart. Once the waiting is done, he'd eventually catch up the kid (if not, he'd give up the few coins he had). If he catches the kid, he'd give him the same speech as scenario #1.
Easy choice here. Kill the mother and pack the babies in a bag. Skin the mother for the fur and the wolf problem and then go to the farm. Once Merek reach the farm, he'd give the bag full of baby wolves to the farmers saying this.
"I know you've got a wolf problem here, but maybe raising these wolves to help you might be helpful. If not, just kill them and take their fur."
Then leave and sell the fur of the mother.
Only fill out if you want your character to have magic capabilities. If you do not fill this out then your character will be incapable of performing any form of magic. Also note that it will take significant in character practice and experience to become any form of proficient in magic.
-Describe to us why you wish for your character to have magical capabilities: Just a slight hint of magic, is all I ask for. So he can train if it ever crosses my mind to do magic. Of course my character doesn't know anything about magic.
-Please give an example in your own words describing the limitations placed upon those who use magic: Needs a lot of training like a muscle. Also needs artifact that is the same "level" of your magic power. If greater power is used on a smaller artifact it might be destroyed.
-Please give a simple description of the magic system in your own words: Requires: Training, good artifacts, a lot of time and patience and isn't given to anybody.
-You are given a very basic trinket of fire, you haven't had much practice with magic yet, but you will try your best. Describe some things you could/would do with this trinket:
Start a candle
Start a really, really small fire
-Pretty much a small lighter if you ask me.
(If my magic aspect is denied, don't deny the whole app if it is just for that, I shall remove it from my app)
As for my Right shoulder armor, it'll be a IC thing. No items required. Image related.
This application has a few things about it that we would like to be edited and resubmitted before we reconsider accepting. First, we consider your definition of meta-gaming to be incorrect and would appreciate a better representation of it. Other than needing a general grammar check, your biography is acceptable. Moving on to your first RP response, simply being an Elf has nothing to do with you being aware of your surroundings or not and does really give an advantage over the conniving little boy, so perhaps reword your response. It is also highly suggested that you answer the first question of the magic application if you wish to be granted the ability to utilize the trinkets. Another suggestion that would greatly improve the application would be reading over it all once you are done to make sure you have correct grammar, capitalization, punctuation, etc. We appreciate the effort and time put into the application. You will be given two more chances to reapply and if you choose to do so, please post a new application rather than editing the current one.
A wonderful application, with minimal error. I'll send you a Skype request to add you to the server group and we look forward to seeing you on the server!
When you join the game you are allowed one free home in the city if you so choose, simply pick an unclaimed home that does not have a for sale sign on it and post your name on a sign somewhere around the front door! If you would rather build your own home then you may instead claim any empty area along the roads behind the city and build there, or if you prefer, anywhere you would like in the wilds outside the city limits.
I did the first question on the magic application. Theres 4 questions in the magic application and 4 in my app. And being a elf does have something to do with being aware of everything around you. Elf's live in the forests, they know everything about the forests. and if I was in a forest market place, I should easily be able to find a way to get to him. If a elf do not know anything about their surroundings, they wouldn't live in the forest.
The forest is like their home, And in ur home, you know every path or way to every room. just like they do but with trees/caves and mountains.
I will redo the Meta-Gaming, though in my defense, it is a way of saying it, META can be when you take a IRL game that has Nothing to do with The roleplaying, like Russian roulette, and start playing with someone. Of course, that's not the only thing, but it was a example.
Since they live with the trees, they can also sense others in the forest, if someone where to cut down a tree, they would know. atleast in the history of them. and it has I believe in Lord of the rings.
This application has a spelling error here and there, but other than that it is written well. Your magic application will also be accepted, but note that the magic section is for the capability to wield magic so you will not be starting off with any trinkets. If you'd like to send me your Skype name in a PM you may, and I will add you to the server group. We look forward to seeing you on the server!

Meta-Gaming (META) is in other words, a way to take the chat at ur advantage. For example, you are looking for someone, you check the chat. you find his location, and capture/kill him. You can also META by taking a real life game into the server, that has nothing to do with the gamemode. Like Russian roulette or baseball. I know this, as I once played chess in a gmod darkrp server, when it had nothing to do with roleplaying. and I got accused for it.

Answer:
I know around the area the boy is heading to, if im swift, I can catch him. He is fast, but is lacking the skill of silence, He was running for the main Marketplace, I swiftly ran around the stands, fooling him to believe he has lost me, he stops, catching his breath. that's when I get behind him and grab him by his hand. Though even he stole from me, I would only take it back, but give some to the child. I do not require money to survive, Only my mind and my skills.

1. Describe to us why you wish for your character to have magical capabilities:
There are many ways I can use it, I would use it to help understand fire more then I do now, and learn to control it. to learn from it, to achieve more. I would use it for my race, I wouldn't use it for evil, only for good.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2. Please give an example in your own words describing the limitations placed upon those who use magic:
3. Please give a simple description of the magic system in your own words:
4. You are given a very basic trinket of fire, you haven't had much practice with magic yet, but you will try your best.
I would also use it to heal wounds. Even if you cant heal them the right way, you can still burn them, stopping the bleeding.
Might be more things, but if I get accepted into the region, I need to focus on the basics, not focus on unlimited power and skills.
This is actually a well written application, and we apologize for it being denied. The reason we are denying it is because of your character being a thief and killer. This type of character can be very easily abused or played incorrectly and we don't want that to happen. At some point in the future we believe we will allow more trusted players to roleplay this kind of character, but for now we will not be allowing it. We appreciate the time and effort put into this application and apologize once again. We will be posting a thread addressing this so that future applicants do not go through the process just to be denied because of this. If you would like to reapply, we request you edit your character and post another application. It will be gladly read and reconsidered.

-Character Occupation (optional, note you still must talk to the lord about loaning or purchasing any stall/shop for your character if he/she would have one. Also be sure to give previous applications a glance before deciding your job, we don't need 5 bartenders!):Nihil's training expertise has led him to a life in stealth he would make an exceptional hunter.
Along with those he lets in his life he has many twisted tales as living his life in the streets has made for rather bloody and varying scenes.
Soon after the boy was enraged and went into the town again with a torch in hand, he burned the clinic of the village he was exiled from and soon left to search for a better life with a new life of his creation, attempting to leave his life of crime behind him in hopes of living a normal life which he couldn't as a child.

However children who aren't in need or are arrogant to the lifestyle of the hardworking, he'd likely threaten the children with the use of authority such as the guards.

Tyler was born into a middle class family in a medium sized human settlement. His father was often out at work, with bad shifts, so Tyler rarely saw his father. He had 2 brothers and a sister, and had a lot of friends at school. When he was 13, his father was killed at work. He had to leave school a year later to keep the family on its feet. Tyler gained a job working at the shipyard, where he stayed for 3 years. One day, somebody hit the floodgate, Tyler was swept into the marina, the ship collapsing apart. Tyler gained his scar from this event. After this, Tyler left his job, and got another one at a blacksmith. When he was 17, his older brother was murdered by an orc. This put the family in a bad situation, again. Tyler began working 3 jobs, which stressed him out to the extremes, putting food on the table and paying for the house and taxes and everything they needed. He wouldn't let his little brother help out because he wanted him to receive an education. His mother remarried, to the town banker, so Tyler quit two of his jobs, and resumed at the blacksmith. When Tyler turned 22 he set out elsewhere, where he could have more of an opportunity, he's been moving around ever since.

I turn, processing what has just happened. I start running after the child, but stop 3 steps later, and watch the child run away. I curse at myself and stomp on the ground. I put my hand to my head, extremely frustrated. I clench my fists, and begin heading home, unable to purchase anything else.

I inspect the wound, and I am not able to figure out how the trap works. Saddened, I stroke the wolf for a small while, and put her to rest. I scoop up her pups, gently. I breathe for a minute, and then turn, continuing. I'll sell the pups to somebody that will look after them and not slaughter them for fur, I figure. I slip the pups carefully into my bag, walking on.

Reynard Holt
-Character race:
Human
-Character age:
28
-Character description(At least one to two paragraphs describing your character’s visual appearance.):
Reynard has a lighter skin tone than most of his race. His hair is a course jet black with little highlights of gray that were there on birth. He has a roughly shaven goatee while beggining to full grow a beard in the early stages of his life. His fingernails are sharpened into a dangerous V shape making them deadly in melee combat. He has brilliant white pupiles with a crimson red iris in the very middle of each eye. Reynard wears a light brown hardened leather tunic and legginings during travel and everyday affair. His shoes are a pair of rugged and worn leather hide boots. His sword is single edged sword with a simple steel crossguard and worn leather grip. He also carries a small skinning knife with him at all times.
-Character personality and traits (At least one to two paragraphs describing their personality traits and/or quirks.):
Reynard is gentle to most, though that is due to his upbringing in an orphanage. Reynard however is not afraid to be tough to get what he needs. Slow to anger though when angered, his wrath trembles the heaves (Metaphorically speaking). He is not used to people commenting on his unique customs however and may get defencive when asked about them. For example, if someone were to ask him about his fingernails being sharpened, he would retort that they're better for clawing with. The customs of this world do not quite sink in with him yet.
-Character biography (At least three paragraphs describing your character's history and experiences):
Reynard's story begins with a small wrapped baby being left at an orphanage during the night. When Reynard was taken in the orphanage matron found but two things on him. The first, a note with his name 'Reynard Holt'. The second is a small pocket dial that works off of the change in pressure in the air.
His hair is a jet black with small highlights of gray intermingled in his hair. His eyes are a brilliant white with a crimson iris in the middle. He had a red birthmark on the inside of his left shoulder. He was a quiet baby who did not often cry or let out any noise at all. The orphanage has no idea who or what in this matter left him on their front step during the middle of that one faitful night nor do they have the means to find out.
Reynard's childhood was a simple one, that of playing with his friends at the orphanage, learning the basics of instruments and the beginings of swordplay. He was always curious as to why he was a lot stronger at his early age than even some of the older boys. He began to play the fiddle at the age of 7, once he was proficient he moved onto the flute which he loved for it's melodic sound. He was an alright singer but not great. He also trained in swordplay though. He did not get a full eduction in that area which we will touch on later on. Reynard's story was quite static up until the age of 19.
When Reynard turned 19, it was time for him to leave the Orphanage. Before leaving, the elder matron who found him 19 years ago on his front porch called him into her office. She told him everything, when and where she found him, his letter containing his name and the odd pocket dial that was with him when he was left at the orphanage. After passing words with eachother and after he recieved a loan of a little bit of money he was out on his adventures. With a lute and sword strung on his back, very little money he set out to find out who he really was, and what he was meant to do.
Reynard's story picked up almost 10 years later, in a small forest outside of a small trading town. Reynard had made some money over the years, playing his flute in inns and singing sons of old. Though he did not have nearly enough to make a living off of it. This is when food]ce and he had not the money to buy it. He went hunting in a large nearby forest which was often grounds for deer and other animals of that nature. Instead of meeting a deer, he met something much worse, a large black bear. This was not only a bear, but one who had her cubs nearby making her all the more dangerous. He had nowhere to run, he couldn't hide so he had one choice, fight the bear or die there in the mud.
He drew his sword, rusty but still sharp and took an old combat stance. The bear charged his position when he sidestepped, nearly being clawed in half by the bears enormous claws. As he sidestepped he slashed the bear on the side with his sword, drawing blood. The bear roared in rage and charged him again. Reynard blocked the bears claws using the hilt of his sword but the force of the blow sent him flying 10 feet backwards until his back hit the trunk of a solid oak tree. Getting up slowly, with his vision blurred, he surveyed what was happening. His energy nearly spent he got up slowly and faced his foe. The bear was bleeding heavily from the side but did not even acknowledge the blood. It roared again and charged forward, prepared to deal the final blow. This is when Reynard truly realized what it meant to have Weihan blood within him. He felt his blood run hot and his muscles tensed as he felt his true strenght. He ducked low and as the bear was on top of him, he ran the sword up and through the bear's abdomin. He pulled the sword out, dripping with fresh blood he hacked and slashed at the bear until it lay in front of him, a hulking heap of blood and gore.
This is when our story begins. Now with little money and food. He is preparing to make his way in the world. Perhaps even to make a mark on history itself. What adventures and tales will Reynard live next? Only time will tell.

As quickly as he can, Reynard breaks into a sprint after the child. While this child is young he his quite quick, however, compared to Reynards size and adulthood he cannot outrun Reynard. After catching up to the boy and knocking him to the ground with the hilt of his rusted sword he picked up his coin purse from the boy but leaves at least three coins with him. Reynard knows what it feels like to be in the boys situation and he doesn't want any other child to feel like that.
Remorselessly Reynard will kill the wolves, even the pups, and skin them for their hide. If wolf skins can fetch a price then they are more value to him dead than alive. The simple truth of this life is that there is a natural order and all things must follow it. Reynard would not kill the wolves out of kindness for the farmers, but for the simple fact that wolf hide means money and money means food. A simple thing like starvation could be the death of him and he will not let himself fail from his goals because he is afraid to get his hands dirty.
Cant denie my second application then because the market place was never said to be in a forest, The Application states "In the market place" Not "In the town's market place" or any destination, the question as its now, is for all market places. and I was referring as a elf forest market place.
Also, the application asked me to define Meta-Gaming, and so I did. It didn't say, define meta-gaming in regards of our own version of it. So I defined it in one way.
A decent application, written well and contains proper descriptions. Although, your magic section is going to be denied because we don't think your reasoning is acceptable, nor do we feel that magic fits into the workings of your character. If you're worried that you won't ever be able to use magic with any character, that won't be a concern. If you end up posting another character(if your current character dies or if you would like a second character) on the enjin, you may reapply for magic along with that post. I will send you a Skype request to add you to the server group and we look forward to seeing you on the server!
This application has been improved to an acceptable state. Your magic application will be denied however, on the grounds that the reasoning is not sufficient and due to lack of experience. Magic can to difficult to RP and seeing as you are just starting out, we'd like to ease you into it so that you can get a better feel of how to perform on the server.

We appreciate you changing your character's occupation and we apologize once again as we have not stated that we don't want players playing that type of character currently. I'll send you a Skype request to add you to the server group and we look forward to seeing you on the server!

-Describe to us why you wish for your character to have magical capabilities:
There are many ways I can use it, I would use it to help understand fire more then I do now, and learn to control it. to learn from it, to achieve more. I would use it for my race, I wouldn't use it for evil, only for good.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-You are given a very basic trinket of fire, you haven't had much practice with magic yet, but you will try your best. Describe some things you could/would do with this trinket:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
With the trinket, I would first concentrate on the basics, starting a campfire, I would use the magic abilities for survival and defensive ways.

Answer:
Yvaine, being they kind soul she is, would simply allow they child to go. She would rather the child have it since she can always make more. Clearly there is a reason for the young child to steal. However she would alert people of the child so that they can keep an eye out for him in case he returns for their coins.

-Character name: Valerie Kyrie

You’re heading back to the city through the woods when you hear a whining coming from nearby. Around it is three smaller lumps of fur, obviously puppies belonging to the trapped mother. Without help, they’ll all die, but wolf skins are quite valuable too, not to mention that the nearby farms suffer quite a bit from the wolf population.
_______________________________________________________________________

He's a really strange man. Everything depends on the situation. In a fight he'll be calm and careful, but outside a fight he's a natural leader and drinker.

You’re walking around the markets at around noon. There’s a lot of people around you, still gathering their items as they prepare to shut down their many stands. Suddenly you feel a gentle lifting of your coin purse as a child graces you and soon after they take off sprinting. You have been robbed.

@vessonia

Power-Gaming is when you take whatever ability you want and destroy Your enemy before they have a chance of killing you. You can also use a normal bow and tell the opponent that you killed him with a arrow shot.

-Define Meta-gaming in your own words:
Meta-Gaming (META) is in other words, a way to take the chat at ur advantage. For example, you are looking for someone, you check the chat. you find his location, and capture/kill him. You can also META by taking a real life game into the server, that has nothing to do with the gamemode. Like Russian roulette or baseball. I know this, as I once played chess in a gmod darkrp server, when it had nothing to do with roleplaying. and I got accused for it.

There are many ways I can use it, I would use it to help understand fire more then I do now, and learn to control it. to learn from it, to achieve more. I would use it for my race, I wouldn't use it for evil, only for good.

2. Please give an example in your own words describing the limitations placed upon those who use magic:
3. Please give a simple description of the magic system in your own words:

4. You are given a very basic trinket of fire, you haven't had much practice with magic yet, but you will try your best. Describe some things you could/would do with this trinket:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
With the trinket, I would first concentrate on the basics, starting a campfire, I would use the magic abilities for survival and defensive ways. After the basics are completed, I would start concentrating on starting torches from afar, then to extinguish.
What I would do with it, is to Help the forest by putting out fires, I would save others who need the help. I would start my journey to become a great wizard and to not die in the progress.

-Character description(At least one to two paragraphs describing your character’s visual appearance.):Nihil would stand at 6'3 and 170 lbs. He would have brown hair and blue eyes.
However even through the hidden identity, Nihil lets very few people into his life as he doesn't trust many. Along with those he lets in his life he has many twisted tales as living his life in the streets has made for rather bloody and varying scenes.
Soon after the boy was enraged and went into the town again with a torch in hand, he burned the clinic of the village he was exiled from and soon left to search for a better life with a new life of his creation, attempting to leave his life of crime behind him in hopes of living a normal life which he couldn't as a child.

However children who aren't in need or are arrogant to the lifestyle of the hardworking, he'd likely threaten the children with the use of authority such as the guards.

Tyler can be a little narcissistic and aggressive sometimes, and acts like a real tough man, but in reality he's somebody who has a strong sense of mercy, generosity and a real family man.
-Character biography (At least three paragraphs describing your character's history and experiences):
I turn, processing what has just happened. I start running after the child, but stop 3 steps later, and watch the child run away. I curse at myself and stomp on the ground. I put my hand to my head, extremely frustrated. I clench my fists, and begin heading home, unable to purchase anything else.

-Define Power-gaming in your own words:
Powergaming is defined as making your character unrealistically powerful or skilled, or controlling someone else's character.
-Define Meta-gaming in your own words:
Metagaming is taking knowledge you have gained outside of your character, and acting on it in-character, despite your character having no knowledge of it or reason to act on it. Also, it is disclosing information learned in RP to someone else out of RP.

-Character name:

Everywhere you look it's just a torch in a hole.
