Why do you prefer playing in a small community?:
Creates a stronger sense of community when you get to know the individuals in it. This is hard to achieve through crowded in game chat or large servers where players constantly drop in and out. Also it usually makes players feel more responsible to each other, reducing griefing and immaturity.
What is your favorite aspect of playing on a server with a vanilla-like game play?:
I enjoy most everything about vanilla Minecraft in survival. I find the mechanics engaging and the game play seems to balance itself out in most aspects. Mods usually take that balance away, but I think the plugins this server uses are perfect for online survival (and I really like using DynMap when building)
Tell us something about yourself:
I'm a gentlemen. I'm quiet but friendly and not afraid to speak my mind. I find Minecraft relaxing, so this is the manner I tend to play in. Fun fact: I've been stung by 3 bees in my life, all by stepping on them.
Why should we accept you?:
I intend to make this my only server when I play Minecraft. I'm a good builder, and am decent with redstone. I don't find enjoyment in griefing or thievery but I do find it in helping others in any way possible.

Where are you from?: England
Why do you prefer playing in a small community?: Yes, I love that not too many people join the server, and it gets over maxed.
What is your favourite aspect of playing on a server with a vanilla-like gameplay?: I get to explore, build and get to be with the awesome community you guys have.
Tell us something about yourself: I am a teenager in highschool that lives in England . my hobbies include crafts, snoboarding, gamimg, and much more.
Why should we accept you?: BC I really want to join a server with good community and a server like MIND-CRACK. I can tell this server will be my best server in all my years, and I absoloutly have playing in survival regular bc it is so boring and I don't get the advantage to talk and play with some really cool and chill people.
Seriously, this is a fantastic server. I've loved it the past few days I've been on. I immediately felt welcome and I've built up quite a base in my time on the server! It has a great, mature community, that also loves to joke around and be immature too in all the right ways. Can't recommend the server enough to new players.
Why do you prefer playing in a small community?: not really sure i have only played on 2 servers so i'm kinda of new to the online side of minecraft
What is your favorite aspect of playing on a server with a vanilla-like gameplay?: well the only answer is i love vanilla Minecraft
Tell us something about yourself: i love dancing, romantic dinners and long walks on the beach lol jk my names is Chris i like fishing and mostly anything to do with the outdoors
Why should we accept you?: you should accept me because i love to help other people out with whatever they need and i'm really easy to get along with sorry it's not really long but i don't talk much so i'm not sure what to say
Why do you prefer playing in a small community?:
There is more communication between players and we can help/know each other, which is difficult in a large server.
Also smaller community tends to be more friendly.
What is your favourite aspect of playing on a server with a vanilla-like gameplay?:
Honestly I haven't played too much at non-vanilla servers. But in my experience servers with a lot of plugins are complicated and there is tons of commands to remember. Vanilla is just plain and simple, which I think grow trust between players with their properties.
Tell us something about yourself:
I'm a friendly person and I like to help others. I like to sell and trade, collect items and build, mainly public places like Mining center, farms or docks.
Why should we accept you?:
I think I'm a good player and I can add something to the server, hopefully. Also I've been searching for a nice vanilla server to play, but couldn't find a good place to stay. I haven't played minecraft in a while because of that, so I'm in hope this will be a server that I can stay for a long period.
I've read the Server Rules. I'm waiting for your answer, thank you.
Ingame Name: Vulpes_Lagopus Where are you from?: I'm from Netherland. Why do you prefer playing in a small community?: Then you can really get to know people. If it already is a large group then they'll only talk with eachother. I sometimes feel a little left out. What is your favourite aspect of playing on a server with a vanilla-like gameplay?: You can make things together and you can make everything automatic. Tell us something about yourself: I'm a 16 year old girl that just loves to play minecraft with new people. Why should we accept you?: I'm very good at redstone. So if you ever need help with that you can ask me. and I'll be on 2-4 hours a day

there seems to be a major hardware problem with our server. We've contacted our hoster about it. I cannot access the server nor the rescue console. I think it might be connected to the RAM upgrade that we did a few days ago. I'll update this thread as soon as I know anything new.
In the meantime, please do not apply - we cannot add you guys to the whitelist.
Thanks for reading and sorry for any inconveniences caused.

Where are you from?: I have been born and raised the USA and still live there today.
Why do you prefer playing in a small community?:I enjoy playing in a small community because I am able to make connections with other members and make lasting connections. In small communities the bonds are often stronger and they enable you to play other games besides Minecraft and are truly bonds of friendship not acquaintanceship.
What is your favourite aspect of playing on a server with a vanilla-like gameplay?: My favorite aspect of Vanilla Minecraft is the reward of building something that looks great after going through the grind of resource gathering. I may not be the best but nonetheless building is my favorite aspect of Minecraft because I can express my creativity.
Tell us something about yourself: I am a 16 year old in highschool. I build computers as a hobby and on occasion I am paid to fix them. I play Varsity Football but I still keep my Nerd Badge in pristine condition. I have played Minecraft sine beta 1.5 and have loved it all the way to today.
Why should we accept you?: You should accept me because I am a team player, I am an active member and put others before myself. I am a diverse individual who would make a great addition to your community. I hope that I am able to become friends with all members on the server and hope to see everyone on the server. Thank you for reading and have a nice day.

About the server crash: One of the harddrives on our dedicated server stopped working. This hasn't happened ever before (LiberCraft exists since 2012). We were able to restore a backup which was 3 weeks old from the second harddrive and used our external backup to restore everything, around ~6-8 hours of progress were still lost, though. Everything is back to normal now. Sorry for inconveniences caused.

Why do you prefer playing in a small community?:
As a result of chat-spam, large communities consist of griefers & pvpers with brief/spiteful concept of casual enjoyment. Establishing a means of dungeon defense (ex: tripwire hook anvil) may seem like vanity on a large server where everyone hide in deep oceans before they #ragequit. Personally, I've been involved in the minecraft since alpha? & I become to recognize the timeless value of small community severs as a platform of casual creative expression that is potentially more valuable than any loot a raider could possibly barter for.
What is your favourite aspect of playing on a server with a vanilla-like gameplay?:
Vanilla-like gameplay allows players to explore the game how its meant to be played. In my own opinion; starter kits & item shops distract players from easter eggs of core gameplay. It's far more rewarding to smelt all the blox for dat xp, slappin em down in the form of some kind of pixel art; than to spend a minute farming for the shop.

In general we accept applications that are 200 words or more(or at least close to 200)
You can write a better application, but I'll have to discuss it with staff to see if you get accepted or not.
