Hi Brave - long time no see! The Kindred server is going well, thanks for asking. We've had a few members come and go, but there is a core of us regulars who are on pretty much every day - myself, Killr_Princess, Burn and PermissionLost.

To everyone else, the server is still open to applications from mature, sensible players who are looking for a like-minded community to join and play along with.
A few months ago, our previous host had host server hardware issues, and they lost our server; We started over. Several of the original crew lost interest, having lost their creations to the wipe; understandable. But a few of us hard-core builders are still here, and working to rebuild the new world to surpass the wonders of the original.
The server is still Hard Vanilla, and we don't op (not even the owners except for white-listing). We don't "expect" donations; they're strictly voluntary, and there are absolutely no 'perks' given to those that do. Since there's no game-altering mods running, we don't need to spend large sums for the server. Mind you, our current hosting plan has 'room' for 48 players. However, we are maintaining a limit of 20 players with a goal of 10 'active' daily players and the rest for casual 'committed' players.
Spawn is still under development, and will be for some time. We're a community build server, so most of the time thus far has been re-building the various farms, such as:
Donut-style AFK gold farm
An expansive Wither skull farm (manual kill, but fully converted to maximize Wither Skelly spawn and eliminate non-wither spawn locations; the surrounding area is about 80% spawnblocked...)
Fully automated crops tower/Mall
Every top-tier enchanted book available
Several top-end gear villagers
Auto-farms above the Mall, including Wheat, Carrots, Potatoes, Sugar Cane, and Pumpkins, with enough volume production to sustain a virtually endless supply of emeralds via 'perfect' trading breeders stationed at the product silos, which is conveniently placed on the ground floor of the mall.
6 single-village Iron farms under spawn, all connected to the silos in the mall; generating roughly a double-chest of ingots per 24-hours of overworld activity.
Max-efficiency Enderman farm, including Ender Pearl piping all the way from the End to spawn to the Mall silos.
AFK Guardian farm
So we have the basics covered, but there's plenty of room for builders to display their creativity. Personally, I'm now working on building a 'Kingdom' East of spawn, having just completed a castle-style wall that takes 4 minutes to run with Speed II. Getting ready to start the castle within before long.
I'll eventually be re-posting an application thread with the above details (with images) and a copy of the original app. For now, this thread, and the app Peepers provided is still the one to read and use. He is temporarily overtaxed IRL, Thus, Hobbs and I are still monitoring this thread for viable candidates, so if you care to apply, we'll be watching, and will let you know if you're accepted for an interview.
