Hello! Starting late July/ early August I will be starting a Mindcrack-like Vanilla server. I am looking for 6 or 7 mature and trustworthy players to whitelist that will consistently play an be willing to partake in community activities such as UHC.
HOW TO JOIN
To join the server you will need to submit a detailed application containing the following information. Please DO NOT lie about things such as talents and age. I will take a detailed look at every application, but it is quite obvious when a person has put forth effort and is going to benefit the server and players of it. Please include all of the following:

IF YOU'RE ACCEPTED
There are currently 2 spots taken on the server (Myself and a friend) and I am looking to have 8 or 9, so 6 or 7 more. If you are accepted you will be notified when the new map starts as well as the date of the UHC kickoff. The day the server is created there will be a UHC game before we begin. All of the members will decide on a time and date and we will play a FFA game of UHC together before beginning the new map which will not be "UHC" mode. This will be discussed in further detail after players have been selected.
RULES
The server will be run much like the Mindcrack server is, but here is a list of Rules and some Info:
No griefing
Pranking IS allowed, but do not go over the top or kill the other player with your prank.
No houses are allowed in the immediate vicinity of Spawn, build community related items such as shops and games
Do Not Steal!
Don't be a jerk, have fun, and engage in Multiplayer activities!

Why do you want to join the server: I would love to become a part of a smaller Minecraft community and make some good friends within it. So much can be done with a good trustworthy group of players on a survival map, and it could be epic. Plus, everyone loves some good ole UHC.
Why should I accept you: I'm loyal to the game. You can count on me to help out with anything and contribute to everyone, without having to worry about stealing, griefing, etc. That stuff sucks. I want a fun, dependent group of players just as much as y'all do, and I won't do anything to screw that up.
Will you be able to talk with other server members via skype: Yepp, that'd be cool.
Your talents in Minecraft: I mean, exploring and gathering resources is my strong point, but I can be good at building too once I get set on a certain project. Redstone on the other hand...... Yeah no. I'm slowly learning it, but it's far from a strength. Getting there.
Timezone/Country: Central/USA
How often and when will you be playing on the server? Most likely at least once a day, for an hour or two at least (if not more... At times I go hardcore for hours) in the evenings, sometimes afternoons. Once classes begin again, timing may change a bit, but I doubt much.

When did you start playing Minecraft: I started playing at the good old alpha days, when I stumbled across paulsaresjr's how to survive your first night video. I kind of miss the alpha days.
4 favorite Minecraft playing youtubers: paulsoaresjr, EthosLab, AnderZEL, and SethBling. Mostly mindcrack players.
Do you know what a UHC is: Yes, I do, and I enjoy them a lot. I've been in a few myself.
Why do you want to join this server: Ever since the old vanilla server I was on went down due to inactivity and other things, I've been looking for a good mindcrack-like community to join. I really want to have fun with my friends and help people out. I also like pranking, but my pranks don't get out of hand. I do use TNT and lava sometimes as long as I know that it is 100% safe. If you don't want me to use TNT and lava in my pranks, then tell me. I don't use it much , but I do sometimes.
Why should I accept you: I really like to help out other members of the server. I will follow the rules, and I won't disrespect you or other members of the server. I will be active a lot and I like to help people with projects and such.
Will you be able to talk with other server members via skype: Yes, but only during the weekends. My parents don't really want me to have online friends, but they are OK with it. They don't allow me to make skype calls though, but I can still type chat. I go to my grandma's most weekends, and I can skype call just fine there, and I hope to do it a lot. I hope this doesn't effect the chance of me being accepted.
Your talents in Minecraft: I am really good at redstone for the average person, although I am no Etho. I really enjoy redstone projects. I am also pretty good with the bow.
Timezone/Country: I live in the United States in the Huston area. My time zone is US central time.
How often and when will you be playing on the server: I will be playing at least 2 hours a day during weekdays, and a LOT during the weekend. This is kind of related to the skype thing. I can play when I get up in the morning, I can be on and off during the day, and I will be playing at night before I go to bed. I will play pretty much all day during the weekends.
A few things to add: I plan on doing a youtube series on this server too, as long as people are active. Also, my skype is coalminer107.

I am a super nice guy im very easy to get along with and the rules you have set up are the rules that I go by in anyones server. Why should I accept you: I love farming and building my only weakness is redstone, id be more then glad to help build anything that needs to be done. Will you be able to talk with other server members via skype: Sadly I would not be able to skype anyone I have recently broke my phone. Your talents in minecraft: Resource gathering and farming are two of my best talents, I have recently started mastering the building of chicken farming and mob farming Timezone/country: Central U.S How often and when will you be playing on the server?: Every morning before work, and on the weekends.
