What is it not already? What sort of plan do you have that it's economically beneficial to shut the server down for part of the day? I know amazon hosting charges by the hour, but nobody hosts Minecraft with them.
Hi SharpSniperZero it's me YCymrobach. I'm quite surprised that you decided to wipe everyone's hard work and effort, as well as that the recent snapshot has some amazing new function's which make redstone really exciting again. We were all doing really well at spawn with 1.8 community projects planned that would now be impossible in 1.7.9. I thought that we should build secret bases and armouries using slime blocks and other 1.8 mechanics to protect chests. I am also disappointed in the fact that you didn't ask the majority of people whether or not not to downgrade. You do have the save file to the 1.8 world, don't you?
Please revert this change or at least ask everyone,
