I am trying to find a modded server provider that has a way for me to auto-update my server's private ftb pack onto the server.
So would it be possible for me to get my server's FTB third-party private pack added to your 1-click auto installer (preferably just for my account)?
And is there any way to auto-update the server's installation of said modpack?
Even if I just have a script that deletes the ".modpack" file what-have-you during downtime.

I'm afraid there is no way to add a modpack and have it available to only one server. If a modpack is added on our installer it is available to anyone.
We could add your modpack on our installer if you wish, but our modpacks are manually updated every day. This means that it would probably be easier and faster for you to upload the new files on your server yourself each time you release a new update.
I'm not sure if this is what you had in mind when you wrote "Even if I just have a script that deletes the ".modpack" file what-have-you during downtime.", but once you have your custom modpack setup on your server, it's quite easy to make a world backup, do a wipe on your server files, upload the new modpack files and then restore your world on the new modpack.

After over two years in business, Microsoft decided that the transactional and completely legal emails we sent to customers about their purchases and services information, are spam for some reason and they started blocking them, without even allowing them to reach our client's spam folders.
To avoid confusion and aggravation for our clients that never got their server information or any other communication from us, through no fault of our own, we decided to temporarily block registrations with Microsoft controlled email addresses. Of course we are in contact with Microsoft to resolve this issue.
I'm not sure how this negatively affects you on whether or not we should get your business (free email accounts can be acquired in minutes), but at the end of the day it is still your decision and prerogative. However we have decided that this course of action was the best for our clients, until the Microsoft situation is resolved.

I'm preparing to start an MC server network and am trying to find a good host. I'm new to hosting and such, so I have a few questions if you don't mind to answer. Thanks!
1.) First, the cost. From what I've seen on other host sites and reviews, dedicated servers are extremely expensive. Why are yours so much cheaper than average? Being able to get an unmanaged dedicated server with 32gb of RAM, 250gb of storage, 1Gbps, 15tb bandwidth and a MySQL database all for only $133 a month seems too good to be true. Are there any drawbacks?
2.) I assume a dedicated server means that it's standalone equipment with it's own operating system in which the user can do with what they like, am I correct? Like a remote home computer, I suppose? Though that probably isn't the correct analogy.
3.) With the dedicated servers, would I be able to run multiple Minecraft servers on a single one, like could be done on a home computer? This would be for a bungee cord setup. If not, are there any plans where one could do this?

To answer your questions:
1. This price refers to our smallest CPU which is currently on special price for a limited time. However this CPU will not be able to take much punishment. Depending on your plans, you'd probably want to look at a better CPU.
2. A dedicated server is a tangible hardware server that you get all to yourself. You will be able to connect remotely to it, and install your software.
3. You would be able to run anything you want on it, given that you know how to install and configure the software yourself. If you are not confident enough to do this yourself, you might want to look into a Fusion Server. Fusion Servers are attached to our Multicraft panel and are administered just like shared hosting accounts. We can divide your Fusion server to as many parts as you want, and you would get a multicraft panel for each of these.

I have been with thesmelter for over 2 years now so this is my review. I was with another company before that and never regretting leaving them not for one second. I have two servers at the moment and I couldnt be happier.
Support: They use live chat system for support and not only for sales. That was the reason I switched hosts. Even when I need something and open a ticket, they respond in 15' tops. Basically I am a bit of a noob and got the server for my kids as a Christmas present, so I got a lot of friendly replies to my tickets. They seem to understand. 5/5
Machines: The server is running Feed the beast and it is running so smooth. Even though I am on West coast, I picked the East coast location so that european players can join, and still no lag at all. 5/5
Uptime: The only downtime was when they transferred my server to a new node, which was no more than 10'. So I must say that 10' in 2 years are phenomenal. 5/5
Ease of use: I used to host with a custom, full of bugs panel and it was so nerve wracking. I was fed up with the updates and the random freezes. Luckily thesmelter has multicraft which is the best for my children's and my server. I used to play at a friend's server hosted at thesmelter and I was amazed by the effort these guys are putting. Every issue we had, because we were noobs, was resolved in seconds after we contacted them. This is the reason why when my friend's server shut down, I hosted my own with them. My friends server was in east coast of usa and I had no lag at all, despite that I live in London. Of course my own server is in their Amsterdam datacenter and my server is lagless and superfast .
They may seem a bit on the expensive side but you can not ever buy their safety and support elsewhere , they never charged me something in order to provide a feature they have and they have no hidden or installation fees. (You guys be aware of other companies that offer cheap servers because they oversell and hack them. Luckily that is not the case with these guys).
I am a multicraft guy, because I do not appreciate bugs and security holes, so the fact that the have customised multicraft was a HUGE plus.
I love how the livechat people are always happy and helpful. They are not there for sales only, they are support techs so that is a relief. After conversation I had with a couple of them, I vouch for they knowledge. These guys actually know what they are doing and are not running a kiddie host.
I am with them for the past year, as I got the server as a Christmas present to myself, and I will upgrade to more ram asap because I want it to be public.
Overall I am so satisfied by them, that I think it is a bit silly if you do not give them a try.
