You would need to submit a ticket specifying the package you wish to upgrade to. We'd then create an invoice for the upgrade, pro-rated taking into account the difference in package pricing and the time remaining on the billing cycle. Once paid off, with our Minecraft services you'll need to restart your server for the additional resources to become available. With our VPS services, the resources become available instantly.
I have had demon vps for months great host but 1 thing i have had to upgrade/downgrade my vps a few times Why do you charge a upgrade fee When i am already going to be paying you more a month makes no sense ????
All I can say is I love this host. I run a small network and we don't have any lag at all. I dont have any plans on switching to another host. If you guys are looking for something cheap and easy to use this is the place.
I'm looking to run a large PVP Network across a multiple server hub. I'm assuming I'll be able to run BungeeCord as well as get a dedicated IP such as Genekits.net? I don't see an option for a dedicated IP on the website so I've gotta ask before I purchase, Thanks guys, you look like a good host

DemonVPS is the best for shear value. I'd recommend them to anyone starting out. The only two negatives that I've had so far is their limited location in the US and response time when replying to support tickets. Maybe I'm spoiled by my previous web hosting company that responded within 30 minutes every time, so waiting over 6+ hours seems like an eternity. Hasn't been a huge deal for me, but I'm just running a small private server. Not sure how I'd feel if it was a large server with many users depending on me. Seems like a new company starting out so maybe these are just some growing pains.
Like I said, for the price and what they offer it can't be beat. I actually just sent a support ticket to upgrade my account. I came on here to kill some time until I get a reply.
With support for Ubuntu 13.10 being dropped today, we've made Ubuntu 14.04 LTS for our VPS packages!
You can select it from the order form when placing your order, or, if you've already got a VPS, from 'General'->'Reinstall' under SolusVM. If you're reinstalling, remember to make backups.
Will my archived tar (backup) files remain after reinstall or do I have to upload it else where first?
Thank you for your feedback. We aim to respond to all tickets within 30 minutes, but we don't always have a member of staff online (typically a member of staff won't be online through the 19:00-06:00 UTC-8 period). If a member of staff is online, we will, more times than not, have a response ready within 30 minutes.
Hi,
You would need to upload it somewhere else, as a reinstall deletes all files on the VPS.
Are there any serious down sides for sticking with the old version?
Where do I start... DemonVPS! One of the server hosts (Minecraft) that are well priced, awesome connection speeds and very easy to use. I set a a full server network in a matter of 2 days!
Thanks for the quick reply
Also if you do do ddos protection, do you do it yourselves or do you port it out to some other company?
Interesting way to quote.
Are you guys looking for any support staff?

Is a promocode "SUMMER25" a private code?
Given that it was just given out publicly, it's almost certainly a public code.
OK. It's for public; not for hackers.
Yes.
