Forum Mods - Sorry if this is the wrong spot, but it needs to be said.
Forum Mod Frostbreath sez: That's ok. You're allowed to review your host. :smile.gif:
Let me first say, I am in no way affiliated with Minecraftserver.net. This is an account of my personal experience with their server hosting and customer support.
I previously had a server from another company (prefer not to say whom). It was a 10 man server for a couple friends and I. Their price was reasonable and I figured it wouldn't hurt to try them out. Although the map we had was a lot of fun, and I had control over Admin/Owner responsibilities, I didn't know much of what I was doing. And they were no help when I had questions about plugins or general server admin. They told me "go to bukkit.org" the info is there. I'm no idiot, but There is a LOT to learn about server admin.
Fast forward to a week ago. I decided to give Minecraftserver.net a chance. They have competitive prices and customer support chat. (which is always helpful) after a week, I had a question about sharing mod responsibilities with a couple friends, and I couldn't figure it out for the life of me. I had Essentials, WorldEdit, and SpawnControl. Harris (a chat support agent) not only talked me through all the ops setting. But then realized I didn't have GroupManager plugin installed. Harris Directed me to the site directly with a web link. I then installed the plugin. Harris talked me through adding members to the group, and also gave me a link to the /command list. It was invaluable. Harris really took his time and helped me out. All my questions were answered. It felt awesome. I definitely recommend their minecraftserver.net for your own server. I'm not sure that they have the best price, but with customer support like this... I would gladly pay more.
I again want to thank Harris for their help setting up my server. The help was priceless. You've got a lifelong customer out of me.
Thank you for your review KevdawgNeo, we are glad to hear you are happy with your server and our service.

We take our customers concerns very seriously. When ordering from us, you had the option to choose subscription or not, however, after a certain amount of time, it automatically went to subscription (as many other hosters on here do). Once you read the email PayPal sends to you about the subscription payment, it is noted. Also, those who cancel and get our cancellation email, note we tell them to cancel their subscription and usually do not run into any issues like this.
However we noticed you had an issue (the only customer ever) and wanted to fix this so none of our future customers have any issues (since customer service is our number one priority). We increased the length of time before it takes you to the subscription option and made sure that it is written out for them to see.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. As stated, we take our customers concerns very serious and want to ensure that our customers have the best experience possible.
