I want a refund. This 100% control promise is crap. We can't get Dynmap because you have no control over the ports. We can not add our map from the other server we had because of the 2mb upload limit. We have to restart about 15 hours of work (just world edit alone, not including the week+ of hand work before we had world edit) because of the stupid upload limit. Please fix the upload limit, or give me a refund. We love the hosting and the price, but everything else is crap. Please contact us as soon as possible at [email protected] or [email protected] . We would like to be your customers and we have friends with other servers as well we can do references, but please fix this as soon as possible.
You have to edit the configuration file in order to change the port of DynMap, otherwise you will have to purchase a dedicated IP.
You can use an FTP manager such as FileZilla to upload your map with no upload restrictions. We prefer you use this method when uploading files, however we can adjust the upload limit of the built in manager.
In other news: We have 1 E3-1270v1 for $59/mo back in stock, order fast, they've been sold out for awhile. You can order here.
All of our servers are located in Philadelphia, PA USA.
InsecureBubble, I did read your post, but I was not wanting to make my post longer with your already long post, so I mean no offence by shortening the reply to read "Wall of text".
What I did want to say was I am the Founder of the Radical Roach's a new community on minecraft, although the members are not new to minecraft. I just got done learning permissions myself. One thing I can tell you is that it takes some time to set up. One thing you deffinately want to have is essentials to help you out even more because of the group manager. Also, regaurding your plugins, you need to make sure that you have the Craftbukkit.jar enabled on your server settings. Dev Mode and Beta mode may not work with your plugins.
To minecrafted hosting:
AdanC7 is one of my admins, and I thank you for your patience and understanding in our situation. I found it very dificult to operate the server with the built in 2Mb upload limit. Expanding it to 500Mb may have been a bit much however because I find it dificult to believe that anyone has a map over 200Mb. None the less however, I do thank you for raising the cap because now we are running our beloved map without having to restart. One thing I do still find troublesome however, is our Dynmap pluggin. We previously had Dynmap set to run at port 56655 instead of the usual 8123 considering 8123 was probably in use. Dynmap was working fine on 56655 for a few hours, but we seemed to have hit a snag because Dynmap is no longer showing. Instead, the current page we see is this: http://22.214.171.124:56655/
My question is, is there a list of ports that are not currently under use so that we may set Dynmap to run on one of them instead? We currently do not have the funds to purchase a dedicated IP from you guys, but we may soon. For now though, if you could let us know if there is any unused ports, it would be much appreciated as the console error's due to dynmap not responding are quite annoying.
Minecrafted is truly a great service. I've been using it for 2-3 weeks, my server is 100% online.
There were no crashes from the server itself, but rather me typing some wrong permissions into PermissionsEx. The server provider I got was the Dedicated server, it's a working wonder.
I couldn't have asked for a better service.
The supports were fast too!
I asked them questions regarding to my service, and they respond within 24 hours, and usually around the hour's range.
The price was what I could offer for my server too!
I've opened up my server for 2-3 weeks already and it has 30 maximum players in it, everyone is enjoying the "NO LAGG" Minecrafted has offered.
I give this service a two thumbs up, and it's really recommended for all those newcomers out there!
I ordered a dedicated server with the following specifications:
Processor: Sandy Bridge E3-1270 @ 3.40GHz
Memory: 16GB DDR3
Hard Drive: 1TB - SATAII 7.2K RPM
Network Port: 1Gbps
Operating System: CentOS 6.x 64Bit
Primary IP Addresses: 1 Dedicated IP
They delivered this exactly, and it runs great. 10/10
Are you kidding? The prices are out of this world. 10/10
I don't want to get anyone's hopes up, but the setup time for me was really fast. Just barely over 12 hours. 10/10
I don't see how you could get a better deal than what these guys offer. My only concern is that they may be charging TOO LITTLE. I don't know what their business model is, but I hope it is sustainable.
I must note here, that if you are not experienced with command line Centos / Linux, this will be difficult for you to set up. I was fortunate to have a great friend, the owner of MinecraftTunnel, that helped me set it all up. Without his help it would have probably taken me a week instead of a day!
Minecrafted.net server hosting is great! Even though, this is my first time having a server host, I am having no problems at all. The prices beat a majority of other companies, absolutely NO lag on my server, and their service is awesome. They set up my 1 GB server I ordered in 4 hours! They also reply to your support tickets quickly, too! The staff are very polite and provide very understanding information and assistance to your problems. 10/10 to Minecrafted.net server hosting!
The setup time was super fast! 1/2hr and Gabe (from the company) emailed me a message asking what .jar I wanted to use and my name to login. 10/10
Performance is ace. Me and my mates live in Australia with super low pings all round. My old server was 4gb and crashed after a world edit of 50000 TNT! Blowing up to! Not this host ( I even used more TNT ) 10/10
Support I can only rate off Gabe but still it's 10/10!
Overall Score 10/10
P.S. Anyone wanna join a white listed no creative/spawning server? PM me!( HOSTED BY MINECRAFTED ) Plugins included.
