I just wanted to give a review, I think shock byte is one of the best mc hosts! They have unbeatable prices with good servers! There support is fine, could be better but it's never takin over 12 hours, people always **** on it but it's not a live chat. They usually get back to you within the hour, or I'll do it at night and wake up with a reply. My server is 10gb I run multiverse and it works great, handles well cpu tps will lower when doing lots of w/e etc but other than that stays at 20 and doesn't really go below 18 or 19.
was able to paste 45,000,000 blocks without crash! Anyways, thanks shockbyte!

Signed up here just to say how terrible my experience was. We paid extra for them to install a mod pack for us and have not been able to contact the support team for around 8 hours. Even though they advertise 24/7 service. If you want to play right away I don't recommend Shockbyte.
I've been sitting by for the better part of 3 hours now after having contacted them about using the .jar file I had put into my server (for some reason they don't allow you to just put it in there and choose it, you have to contact them?) and as such I've been unable to play my server.
The support is really terrible, and it takes forever just to get your server set up. Probably never using this host again, I just bought my server like 2 hours ago and still waiting. Unless if this server is OP then I'll use it again :D!
Ok i bought a server from here and i have to say for the service is .... AMAZING. I just bought a dirt plan (1GB) but my tps hardly came below 19.9. My staffs and players says weird, they are getting no lag on the server. If you want a cheap and no-lag server, i recommended use this host

The support is terrible, you usually have to wait 2-3 days for a response if you even get one. Many of my tickets have been left simply unanswered until they die out after 72 hours.
My server experiences little lag, even when we have about 10-17 players on the server holds up fine. I have the 8GB plan.
Lately the server stops for no reason. This happens randomly 1-2 times a day. I've asked my experienced technician about this and he says it's the hosts fault.
So if you want a cheap host but need little support, this is the right place for you.
I've had my servers using Shockbyte for a few months now and it has been a good no-lag experience and the only flaw I can see is the support... I have had a ticket regarding the password reset page not working for about a few weeks and still no response :(. Great host other than the support.
Are you sure the ticket was successfully opened? If the ticket is a few weeks old, then it is very likely we didn't receive it or have already left a response.

Due to the large influx in tickets, we need to adjust our staffing to match the ticket load, which can sometimes take a few days (can require hiring & training new staff). The majority of tickets are answered within an hour, even during these times, however it is possible that some slip through and take longer to receive a reply (it can depend on the nature of the request).

I never get a slow response. All response are less than half an hour for me

Sometimes when i managed my chat on my iPad i get this error
Couldnt get chat: authenciation fail (auth: Empty response) for a second then its normal again
