I recently got a "Minecraft Realms" showing up and am checking it out. I created a world and have been playing in it for a day and noticed the world was on normal. I saw configure and see it has options to change it to hard etc... Problem is, I click on Hard and it resets to normal. In game i tried the /difficulty command and it says I don't have permission. I'm the world creator, how do I get permissions?

Can't seem to get into the Realms server anymore says:

input stream cannot be null

Hmm that's strange, i know this is a bad question but do you have internet connection?

I will assist the problem, stop the server and turn it back on, lol blade, if he didnt have internet, how would he be on the forums...

I know i realized that after i posted it i was kinda tired and just wasn't thinking straight, let me know if the realms work again i'm sure me and Flaming could assist you on the realm if you need.

Yea, i can't join either. Strange it says #null. I will research it and let you know what i find

I've Done a bit of research and it suggests fore updating your minecraft, let me know if this works.

I found out that every time you click on "configure" it just shows the "normal" difficulty level. That if I close the server first, then configure it to a hard level and restart the server it does it. So that's solved. Sure ill invite anyone who wants to play, it's a beta test anyway. Don't think in the 80 days left that it will be up though.

Also, #Null is the name of the server

Seems I spoke too soon. I was down in a mineshaft and a poisonous spider attacked and didn't cause poison damage. Guess it's still on normal . Weird thing though, I was able to change from Survival to Creative by closing the server, switch to creative, open the server and stuff.

Sure, doing it..... and done.

Had the server in creative mode so I could add a nether portal to start building a hub. Reset it back to survival and its doing the "input stream cannot be null" error. So bare with me.

switch your server name to something other then Null do it NOWthis is your problemplease do it

Seems no matter what I try, at random times it still says "input stream cannot be null"
