I created a realm in the Java edition through a desire to form a long-term and friendly community. I am a 19 yo survival Minecraft hobbyist and I love to build, build and build. I am looking for other like-minded players who are interested in developing a small friendly community and create cool builds in pure survival like Hermitcraft.
The idea and goal of this realm is to gather a group of amazing and friendly folks, who are not just going to dedicate a decent amount of time to the game but will also talk to others and engage in a conversation to know them better. This way when our very own SMP starts someday, then it will be an enjoyable experience for everybody!
Who we look for:
Preferably 17 or over
Get along with others and know them better
Interact with other people and engage in conversations
Able to play at least once every 2 days
Play legitimately
Accomplish personal projects
Contribute to community
Use Discord as a way of communicating (even if you don't have a mic.)

Most of the people that joined at the very start expected an instant community and did not do any of it. As a result, the realm actively declined after a week until it got to the point, where it was just me and one other person playing. I have reset the world and transferred the remaining players' builds/progress to it with the help of WorldEdit. To get rid of many dead bases and used areas for newer players to come! The realm has also been running since July 15, 2021. We also had a world border of 8.000 blocks wide before 1.18 to ensure that we don't have to travel so far once it has been released!

To start off with, I'm just a normal minecraft player, I like exploring and improving on things i don't do that well, like PVP and redstone, I'm semi-decent at building but not the best. I'd love to join a long term community of people because for the most part I've been playing on servers that last a few weeks tops before everyone gets bored and leaves.
