I'm one of the Admins on the server and wanted to highlight a few things.
We have a town (NPC village) that we have built walls around, a farm complete with a barn and plenty of fields, and a few mineshafts. You can get a 'job' working for one of the other people on the server or simply go out on your own, trade with other players, build your own base thousands of blocks away from and kind of civilization.
We are in this for the long haul. I have joined numerous realms where the owners simply lost interest and all of the hard work of other players were ultimately wasted. Here you don't have to worry about that, this realm will be online as long as there are players online.
Future projects as it stands now is a market where players can buy and sell their resources, an arena, and ultimately building up the town (town hall, bank, houses, etc.) and eventually even a castle. Minecraft is a game mean't to be played with like-minded individuals that allow you the freedom to build, craft, and explore to your heart's content. We also have a discord where you can chat with other players, listen to music via groovy while you play, hold meetings, and more!
So come join us, bring your friends and family and help us build this realm into an amazing community.
