I am a rather experienced Minecrafter (everything but modmaker, and command blocks)
I am looking for a Realm with the following:
/gamerule mobGriefing false (I'm not sure if this is possible on Realms)
Mature staff (If someone does something you don't like, you explain it to them and try to let them fix it, or hear their counterpoints)
A relatively new map (No older than a month)
The map uses Large Biomes or customized with Large Biomes (No Amplified or normal biome sizes)
A friendly community
I do believe that mob griefing turned off is possible in realms. I think I've been on one or two where the green creeps explode and do no damage except to the players and their armor.
However I feel that it would not be Minecraft without creeper holes to fill in. The best way to treat the creeps is to go after them and make sure they can't do any damage. I keep creeper damage on in my realm.
Other than that I have a realm that you might like. It was created about a week ago with the Rogue-Like Dungeons mod and so far has not had much activity on it. Check it out:
Creeper Damage is only part of the problem. You can have negligent or malicious players who don't know the creeper is there, or who intentionally lead it to your project. The main issue for me is that I enjoy terraforming a great deal. Endermen are a menace for me.
Endermen seem to have a thing for minecart tracks. You leave tracks out in the open, they'll often take a block from under the track. Then you get derailments .... I like fiddling with the minecarts, so endermen are not my friends.
Ya, good points about creepers being used maliciously. I guess I just don't think in that direction.
Terraforming? That's basically part of building, right? Changing the landscape to suit the humans (?) needs. I'm working on a town now, putting in a big fancy town hall, a Georgian library and terraced gardens. It's at the spawn point for the realm. I particularly like doing those terraced gardens, although they are a pain to maintain.
