Hi. I recently built a computer and it's running great. But I noticed when I look at my temps... it seems to be extremely hot. I don't OC, either. Are these temps normal?

Here are my web browsing temps for comparison, all of these are well within normal ranges. You should only be worried if things get to 80C and higher (or for your video card, 90C and higher).

If not... what should I do to lower them? All the fans are running and there's no problem with ventilation.
Sorry, I forgot to mention my case on came with 2 fans. Is that much of a problem? My case is HAF 912, btw.
There is nothing hot about those temperatures.
Most CPUs are around 15-40C idle and never usually go past 70C on full 100% load. As for your mobo temp, that gets to a similar temperature range.
You are more than fine.
It's my first computer build, so I was worried. I came from an old and crappy Dell Dimension 3000, so I don't know much about computer temps.
Thanks again!
........ These seem abnormally high for "average" temperatures.
lol hot GPU much (not abnormally hot but a bit hot, esp. for web browsing)
My 6870 only ever reaches 45 degrees C even when playing intensive games such as MW3
My 9800GT is from BFG who shipped theirs with a pretty decent stock overclock, hence running hot when idle.
Usually reaches 79C when playing just cause 2 but never higher.
(I also haven't cleaned out the dust in about 7 months.)
Plus it's old technology with a pretty big die size. :tongue.gif:
