Nice ideas. These are good ways to start clans. Also Alliances are a HUGE thing, my Clan is Large and we get into fights with others every now and then and allies are very helpful especially small clans with 10-20 members.
The forums are the right place to find alliances. Find clans that are similar to yours and you have an interest in allying with and see if they have an ally application form or expectations available. If not then contact the clan leader or write a message on their forum page asking for an alliance.
Hello! I play on a small survival and clan server, and my faction is named Supernova. It's a small clan where everyone gets an element and a nickname, and a pet dog. It is a wolf-related faction, and quite new. It has 5 members, including me. I made a nice clan home with a few rules and ranks like in a wolf pack. Every member gets a "den" and they can get jobs like hunting and mining. Any tips on how to improve my clan and get more members? My clan gets new members every other day, but it's hard to keep up or the place is dead silent.

It's probably worth keeping the conversation to clan advice. For example, What do people here think is the best way for a Minecraft clan to grow?
As to the best way to recruit, I think it depends on your clan. You could recruit people off of a server or keep your forum page active. As for TPP, we have started making videos for twitch and YouTube which has been pretty fun to be apart of and shows our clan in action.
A clan by its simplest definition is basically a community of gamers who play together. There can be pvp based clans, building clans, RP clans, clans that try to simulate different kinds of governments, or just clans that just play around minecraft. Difference between a clan community and a server community is that clans are more specialized and not as public as servers were you can just log on (A lot of clan based servers are whitelisted and to be able to get in you need to apply on the thread and be accepted by the leader). Other clans just play on other public servers (some pvp clans play on different faction servers. To make a clan, just make a topic in the clan thread. Make sure you have a good idea of what the aim of your clan is. If you need any inspiration or ideas look at the other clan threads and research them! Hope I could help!
I don't know whether or not this fits in "Clan Advice" but I really hope it does because I need some help.
So what if your clan goes through a leadership change, and the previous owner of the clan still has possession of the original post of the clan thread, therefore, the leader who succeeded him is unable to change it at all, or, he/she literally has to ask the holder of the original post to edit whatever he/she needs to be edited. (To those wondering, I had the issue, with my previous clan leader Red, leaving and giving me possession of his clan) Does MCF allow clan OP changes or is there a specific person you go to ask for that? Because I asked some admins and got zero response.
I don't think that is exactly possible through MCF, but as a preventative measure before the OP is posted in the first place you would make a profile with your clan name to make the OP and you give the passwords to those that are in power so if there is a leadership change you don't have to lose your OP. Its probably too late for you guys at thins point, but for further reference to other clans that is what I think should be done.

Ah, I see.
I have seen that method used throughout the clan section, that's pretty clever.
But yeah, it is a bit too late for that, I'll have to deal with it for now. Thanks anyway.
This doesn't mean make yours a circle of
something, or a union of something! that would be the definition of a
bad name, because there is a established clan with the name allready.
Also, Try to avoid the use of a kingdom or a creeper related clan.

Also, userbars.com seems to be either nonexistent or currently down, not sure which.
But this was really helpful!

You can easily make a thread by selecting the "New Thread" button at the top right of the section page. Hoped that helped and good luck with your clan
