Alesgan was founded on May 10th, 2010. We are currently under the reign of our ninth monarch, Spymaha. Before him there was King VIROS (for the second time), King Ilaniol, before him Queen Nekusakuraba, before her King Spymaha (for the first time), before him King VIROS (for the first time), before him King Shairn, before him King Stoup, and finally our founder,TheRealMarenkon. We have room for everyone in our clan.
Ranks
There are four ranks, Monarch, Counselor, Noble, and Citizen.
Monarch
The King/Queen is leader of the whole clan. She or he is elected by the people, and is generally in charge of managing everything. The King/Queen oversees everything, but the Council takes a large part of the responsibility as well. The current King is Spymaha.
Counselors
The Council is a group of people responsible for keeping the clan in working condition and keeping the King's power in check. They maintain the clan while the Queen/King is away, and vote on important matters. Council members are elected by the people or appointed by the King. The Council may force the Queen/King to abdicate with a vote if they feel the monarch is unfit. The only Counselor currently is Church521.
Nobles
A Noble is a respected member of Alesgan responsible for managing a specific territory of Alesgan. They are granted the power to command residents of their respective territories, to levy taxes in those territories, to create new laws in those territories, and to give punishment in those territories. They are appointed by the King, or chosen by majority vote of the Council.

This document will be considered the absolute descriptor of the government of the Kingdom of Alesgan. It can not be altered or abolished without a unanimous vote of the Council and the express permission of the reigning Monarch.

Counselor

DefinitionsMandate- Any action where the Monarch utilizes his or her powers detailed in the Charter.Election- Any time when either all or a select group of Citizens are polled to decide who will receive a rank.Referendum- Any time when all Citizens are polled for their opinion on a matter. Results from referendums are non-binding.Majority- In a referendum, vote, or election the majority is defined as the choice with the most votes cast in its favor.Appoint- Any time when an Election is not held to determine who will receive a rank and a Citizen is instead chosen by the Monarch.
Also, might you want to consider changing the name back to the Kingdom of Alesgan? Just a thought; since it follows most of the old kingdom's ideas.
Actually, we will be having a much more decentralized govt. We will act more as organizers of events and enforcers of rules, than constant watchers of the people. Everyone will be encouraged to lead private lives, run businesses, explore, mine, and generally be their own person. Minor taxes will be required on landowners, just to make sure they don't leave, and we don't know they left, so we have a wasted plot. Especially in our new city that I have planned.

For those of you who know more about servers and whatnot, how are those specs?

Xeon is always a good brand when working with live scripting. Dual CPUs at 2.27GHz would be perfect for anyone.
24GB of RAM is as good as you're going to get without stacking.
Servers with 64b-OS support seems to be less rare nowadays. This sort of thing is good for the future, where it will be a complete standard.

I suggest trying out some Australian servers, experience tells me connection between EU-AUS is wonnky, and the connection to US is even wonkier.
As long as the server doesn't have any lag, them I'm fine with it.
No lag and less shutting down ( which is sadly unavoidable) I'm good. Also I'd like someone to post something when we start making the city, because I want to help.

And I agree with revising the OP. I think we should scrap it and make it simpler.
edit: I think the maps and the Youtube video should be removed, as they are no longer relevant. (Unless of course we choose to keep our map)
